I am an Ibo Man, but, I only connect and accept friends who have Delta State related names. I mean Urhobo, Isoko, Itshekiri and Ijaw names like: Akpos, Efemena, Obukowho etc. My reason is simple, I do a lot marketing on Facebook and my primary business is based in Delta State(Ughelli and Warri axis). So, my Facebook friends really are people who are likely to patronize me and are familiar with my location. I must confess, the biggest push I have got in my business in recent years is the deployment of Facebook marketing. Recently, I have got several Delta State born Facebook friends staying abroad and who buy laptops and Blackberry phones from me in Nigeria and ask that we send to their relatives. They find it more convenient to buy from me than sending one from Overseas. To be frank, I never knew it was possible to sell profitably to someone staying Abroad from Nigeria, especially for items I still source Overseas. Furthermore, I would like to get suggestions from any person or group of persons on this platform on how I can take further advantage of Facebook to do more marketing. I still do serious marketing on Blackberry Messenger. And it works for me. Cheers! Pls contact. My name is Raymond- 08033927919, 08075993550. email:raycomraymond at yahoo dot com. pin:239bfaa2 |

I have always had the feeling that many people on this platform are teenagers and undergraduates. Often, I find it difficult to enjoy any thread on Nairaland. |

I have the read the contributions of many on this. But, I have a divergent opinion. (1)-Someone said a revolution. Yes. If there is anything possible that could be done to make Nigerians revolt. (2)-The single solution to this problem is to ensure that Nigerians are made to pay tax heavily. This tax payment is what will revive the subconscious of the ordinary Nigerian and that is the only solution to the problem facing Nigeria. I will expantiate at the appropriate time and when called upon to do so. My suggestion here is very skeletal. This is my opinion. |
Many Nigerians are always rushing to build personal houses especially in the village. They simply want to show off among their peers that they are doing well. Often, this is done at the detriment of their business capital. I dont see the reason a young man who is growing his business could invest millions building a house in the village where he could not even use the building as a collateral to get a credit line from a bank. A friend built a mighty duplex in the village, but, now, his shop is virtually empty. He raked all his business capital to finish the building. The building is just there. He could not even furnish it properly. Building a residential house should not be done when ones' business has not been properly established. I just read recently that Mike Zuckerberg is still staying in a rented apartment. I personally made this same silly mistake of investing millions in 2 different residential(storey) buildings in a town, when I was supposed to put up a corporate office that would have repositioned and enhanced the growth of my business. My consolation is that I still use these buildings to get a line of credit from banks. But, the loan money you get from "collaterising" your building can not be compared to the actual money spent on the building. Imagine a bank giving me a loan of 10million on a building I spent over 30million to build. Does it worth it? After all, I will still pay interest and COT. I could have left the money in my business and build the house when it is absolutely necessary. More often than not, we are unconsciously influenced by friends and family into taking wrong decisions. I could recollect vividly when Daddy suggested that I should start a building project in the village just about 2years after I started business. Summarily, I will suggest that Nigerians Abroad should first invest their money in a viable venture. Building can come when it will come. My opinion pls! |
I DONT THINK MY COMMENT WILL BE PALATABLE TO THOSE AT THE CORRIDORS OF POWER. THEREFORE, I RESERVE MY COMMENT FOR SECURITY REASONS. ![]() |
My 2yr old son owns and uses an Apple Ipad, but, not a phone. He uses the GSM table phone at home to call me when he wants to. Except a technological device is harmful to a child, we should not limit children, especially if you can afford it. My opinion pls! |
"Nigeria is loosing revenue from massive theft of crude oil in the Niger Delta" Simple problems that require simple solutions, yet, nothing is done. Nigeria imports "tooth prick" , "bottled pure water/gutter" , and u want to ban OEM computer systems. It hurts to read all these. |
I can see Soludo is receiving praises on this platform. Methinks he was corrupt. |
Money lending is a lucrative business in Delta State where I do part of my business. Money lenders here own a lot of landed property and other assets. But, they are generally viewed as Shylock business men. I was told that you dont need professional accounting or managerial skills. You only need a powerful JUJU/WITCH DOCTOR as your mentor or "Special Personal Assistant"-otherwise people you lend money to can "delete" you anytime. ![]() |
The tale tale signs are there that the vehicle was resprayed and likely was "accidented." I feel ur pains. At one time my staff was scammed on nairaland by one punk at Feastac who advertised a Nokia X7 and he sold a chinese version of the X7 to my staff. Till today, the guy is still posting new products on nairaland. If I decide to display my unusual "scorpion styled" wicked ways and frustrate the guys life by nook or crook, some people will start to preach. All the same boss, I appreciate your decision to publicly report this transaction. At least some carefree fellows like myself could have fallen prey also. |
Some 15years back in Umuahia North Lga in Abia State, a young and promising business tycoon was shot dead-in error- by his own body guard/police escort at the scene of a village land dispute. He had gone to village, to help settle a land dispute between his village and another. unfortunately, while his escort was about to adjust his gun in order to disperse the warring parties, he accidentally pulled the trigger and his chairman's heart was burst open. In a second-HE WAS STONE DEAD. |
Boss, sorry the network was bad when u called this evening. Mr Adeniran has not replied my sms. My staff needs to pick up stock asap. |
Boss, just spoke with Adeniran. He sounded nice and articulate. My staff will meet with him as soon as he confirms his stock. |
Boss, am surprised you are advertising a phone I could easily pay cash and ask my staff to pick up. These are things we do with our suppliers. we mop up any stock at the slightest notice so far they are clean and reliable. However, I will call ur contact now. |
Genevieve cannot be 33yrs. Many yrs back when I Was in secondary school, i was hearing about this lady and that she had a baby girl, that was pretty and beautiful bla bla bla. My wife disagrees too! |
I have always known that most international agencies including rating agencies are inherently and endemically corrupt. Especially when it comes giving awards to African leaders and corporate bodies. Hope we have forgotten how many international awards Cecilia Ibru received during her tenure in Oceanic Bank. Methinks the whole ratings are cordinated, calculated and premeditated scam. |
@Gmc.biz I think you are the guy that scammed my staff in festac. Giving him a china x7 in place of the original. I still dey track you. |
Good day boss, Pls send me mail. raycomraymond@yahoo.com I will buy alll the bold4 as soon as they arrive. BB pin:239bfaa2 Thanks |
Bross the lady was just trying to link you up to know if you would buy refurbished laptops from china. You clearly misunderstood her intentions. |
