A lot of UK old-takers ran this scam on their fellow Nigerians back home, during the 'Boris Wave' fad (2021 - 2024) and went totally unscathed!
Promising sponsored jobs in Great Britain, only for their victims to arrive and find out that the companies were nothing but a conduit pipe to defraud compatriots in the name of CoS and care visas.

Politics › Re: Tinubu"s Forfeiture: Things Are Moving Much Faster - Von Batten-Montague by Rayjay45: 4:43am On Aug 21
SixSeven:
I have no problem with Tinubu anymore. The joke is not on him, the joke is on Nigeria as a society. A society that lacks integrity and explains away questionable things is making itself look like a clownish society. Tinubu is not the problem, it is the society that made it acceptable to lack integrity that is. In a normal society, it is APC as a party that would have screened out Tinubu, not the court. APC would have looked at who had better qualifications and moral compass as a party. It's not everything that is court or has to be written in the constitution. Some things are moral but what do I know? A whole SAN reminded us that the law is not moral and that's one of the first lessons I learned in law. Education is not enough, you can be educated but not learned, you can go to school but not schooled, you can come from a home but not raised properly and you can claim a lot of things but never be able to tell truth. Integrity is very expensive, all the money in the world cannot buy it.

When you say the truth in this country, you will begin to sound like a moralist, like a virgin, like a saint because we know what is true but it pains us when someone else is saying it and is not willing to participate in our lies. You don't look like you are normal anymore. Look at the Jemima Osunde video the other day, the comments to her outrage were not commending her, they were trying to normalize the madness they have created. Look at the drug smuggler Mawra and his NDLEA team caught, they were not even worried by the crime. They just wanted to replace him. Thieves. Idiotic thieves. They are so poor that the only thing they have is money.
I dey UK when the Labour party pulled out one of their own, an incumbent PM, Keir Starmer, from the race for next UK elections.
Man did not even steal a Pence. He was just fairly incompetent - a standard Tinupoo could only aspire to reach in his dreams.

We are sick in that country o. We no just get pesin to tell us.

Politics › Re: Atiku’s Subsidy Plan Retrogressive, Fiscally Unsustainable – Bayo Onanuga by Rayjay45: 4:30am On Aug 21
CharlesCNG:
Yes, Dangote Refinery can be subsidised. But that does not solve Atiku’s problem—it simply changes who receives the subsidy cheque.

If Dangote’s commercial price is above Atiku’s desired pump price, government must either:

pay Dangote/marketers the difference;
give the refinery cheaper crude or FX;
absorb the gap through NNPC;
or force sales below economic cost.

So the basic questions remain:

At what benchmark price? How much subsidy per litre? Who gets paid? Who verifies volumes? And where will the money come from?

Saying “Dangote can be subsidised” is not the answer.

It is simply another way of saying taxpayers will pay the difference.
Atiku has no plan! Subsidy restoration will collapse the country in less than three months!! Subsidy restoration is voodoo economics.
Dey dia dey yarn dust. Your own principal gangan don yarn say 'shey na statistics we go chop?'

Make the whole North hear this Atiku proposition lasan and 2027 will be so over for you thieves!
