before you contact contractors or engineers for your project, make sure you consult a quantity surveyor for the cost analysis and breakdown of your project.

Because this days a contractor or engineer could tell you your project would cost N21M but really the project cost is N15M but because since you dont know better you award the contract to the contractor or engineer.Then the contractor pockets N6M.

please be wise today and contact a quantity surveyor for your BOQ and building estimates.

well I'm not that good with general maths and i don't offer further maths in my school . I heard that Quantity surveying is not all about mathematics, there are alot of social sciences subjects than calculations and that the calculations is not that complex. My maths teacher is a quantity surveyor but he doesn't practice anymore (he's a soldier ). Btw I'm studying at a command day secondary school

let me be frank with you.QS is 80% calculation.

So get prepared.
