Brand new or new vehicle which ever tickles your fancy always recommend "at least" 2000km before any oil change, which has been done by the dealership before been sold. But our argument is not about oil change but whether the vehicle is new or naija used.

Your 2000/2500km is for car wey don pass the manufacturer warranty of 100,000kms.

1000km is for engines that were just rebuilt to allow for break in.

You are abusing the meaning of brand new. There's a difference between new and brand new oga. From lagos to caeroun and back by road isn't even up to 1777miles equivalent of almost 3000km

600k is too much to pay for accommodation considering your financial status. Why not move to an area with cheaper rent. You can get really big houses with cheaper rent for half the price.
