Digitron:There are several possibilities,but one comes to mind when issues like this occur HARD DISK : if it only slows down while navigating the desktop and other apps, then a simple defragmentation would have solved the issue. Also freeing up some space would have done some tricks. However in this situation, the computer gets stuck on desktop i.e you're not able to do anything whatsoever! The hard disk is probably gone. |

LadySarah:Hi LadySarah. First, I'd like you to boot into safe mode by pressing F8 just after pressing the power button during start up. Can you access settings in safe mode? If yes, then it means you may have changed certain things to get something working or messed arround with your settings. However, if that's not the case, the only solution is to use command prompt or tinker with the registry (could make matters worse if you ain't the techy type). Finally, the best solution is to re-install the windows 8. tungstar:Hello. You will need a tiny piece of software to activate your PC. You do not need to worry about product keys anymore. It does all the insertions!! If you can make time to come to computer village, you can get one of them guys selling software DVD to help. Once he's done activating, show some love by offering some tip (200N to 500N isn't bad) Thereafter with a big grin on your face, ask them to give you the CD/DVD from where they got the Softwares.  - - Thank me later. *cheers* |

pussygotlips:Let me paraphrase, Were you able to use the USB Ports before now? If yes, then you will need to update your USB drivers. If no, then the hardware(the ports themselves) itself might be faulty. You made mention of installing the Bluetooth drivers... Well, you'll have to uninstall these drivers. Then reinstall with the appropriate driver. |

For win 10,the only issue is that you'll be needing drivers for every goddamn hardware on that laptop. Remember, as they say= "if the computer ain't the problem, you're the problem" Advise: do not format to Windows10 yet. I feel if you look long and hard enough at your problem with the current OS, you'll find a solution. [list the issues] Finally, dis one you are formatting up and dan, me I have Hard disk to sell oo oya do and Come and buy (cheap price) Don't mind me, what I just said is that you risk crashing your HDD (risk increases with each format). So list dem issues, so we see of they are resolvable. Formatting is only a last resort. |

Qhalifah:Well, .NetFramework is a software on it's own that you will need to download and install on your PC. In the google search bar, type ".netframework 4.6". From the list of search result, click on the one that links to Microsoft website. Download from there- virus free. |

kodded:Duuuuhhhh,  The led light should definitely come on, for some time (if there isn't any battery) and should remain stable or change to Amber to indicate charging (when there's battery). Regarding the power switch, you can only be sure if you assemble your system completely, then you test with the new power switch, if it comes on, displays and functions properly then you're sure the board is OK, then you can pay for the power switch *cheers * |

This program scans through the hardware and generates a list of matching drivers. You will have 2 options, first will be to automatically install/configure the drivers, and second is to install them individually- this is known as expert mode Once you are in expert mode, you are to uncheck every other driver except the wireless driver. Then click install. |

ladykilllar:Obviously, it lasts less longer than the manufacturers battery. Max you can practically achieve with a replacement battery is 1hr30 min to 1hr50min. Double cell is about 3hrs30min to 3hrs43min in practical terms. In theory it's 2hrs and 4hrs for single cell and double cell respectively. Manufacturers battery goes for 2hrs 50min to 3hr 00min in practical terms. Double cell lasts for about 5hrs15mins to 5hrs50mins. In theory it's 4hrs and 8hrs for single cell and double cell respectively. Replacement batteries aren't fake. These are batteries that are manufactured with a low capacity Li-Ion Cells so that 1. There is an easy replacement for those laptops whose models have been phased out and whose batteries cannot not be found from the manufacturer. 2. Laptops whose batteries cost almost half the price of the laptop. Users of such laptops would rather opt for the replacements as against going for the manufacturers'. Think, why would you buy a PC for NGN40000 and the battery is almost NGN22500? 3. Those who wouldn't mind spending less can still get battery for their laptops with cells that hold power that lasts long enough for a prolonged back-up and shutdown before power goes out- for those who have electricity most of the time. ... Well the issue of fake or original is relative... Usually fakes are overpriced and they underdeliver. Also their lifespan is about half the time the real stuff lives. ... (this time, Bluetooth-not working, other devices-not working, network adapter-not working and also not showing at all in device manager.{after series of troubleshooting and researching it showed[view-show hidden files] but still didn't work}I used driver packs to drive it but I was a message that my drivers are up-to-date, which isn't true{would have used network booster but I can't connect to internet cos of the network adapter issue}). I decided load the windows one last time, and during the installation it cancelled by itself and on trying again it resulted to this page. I have also tried to go to the boot options and make changes but its going to the bootmgr page. Pls. Kindly help me(anyone and everyone.)
