Please I'm in serious need of assistance, I'm going berserk. My laptop has been having all levels of driver issues since I upgraded to windows 10 and used drivers pack update 17

1. My touchpad always stops working, I have to reinstall the synaptics driver each time until I eventually got tired of reinstalling and bought an external mouse.

2. My IDT audio driver has occasional madness. Sometimes it becomes problematic and I begin to hear cracking sounds. I'd have to troubleshoot or reinstall the driver

3. Sometimes my laptop lags and trust me, It shouldn't.

4. My touchscreen has refused to work and I have scoured the internet for solution to no avail. I decided to live without it..

5. My webcam has suddenly developed issues and has refused to work, it gives an error code, I searched online for it and I got solution that It might be disconnected, but the flash works.

6. The most recent of problems is my WiFi. Now it doesn't discover available hotspots. I uninstalled one of the network drivers and it worked because I thought it's a hardware issue and maybe the WiFi cable has suddenly gone bad for no reason. After using it to transfer files via xender, I dunno what happened but it has stopped again (the icon changed in the process)

I have reset my laptop twice.

These and many more other issues I'm experiencing. I've been frustrated enough and have decided to format and start afresh..


I'm using HP envy M6 TS sleekbook


Please I'm starting afresh with Windows 10, give me beginners tips so I can work without issues from now..

Please I have a whole lot of problem with my PC.
1. First, sometimes my PC goes blank when I try to boot it. On the blank screen you can see the mouse moving but nothing else is on the screen.

2. Recently I noticed that my PC doesn't browse. It will show that it's connected to a WiFi but no application goes online, no page loads in the browser. I've tried several ways to make it work but it doesn't.

3. It's a convertible PC. Sometimes if I try to convert it to a tablet it will show a blue screen with an error telling me it's scanning for problem and it will restart. Also it makes an annoying noise when on the blue screen.

I don't know if all these is as a result of windows update. I'm using an HP Envy M6 X360 running on windows 10.

Please Help me. I've been using my desktop computer for some time now, until yesterday I couldn't turn it on. whenever I press the power button, instead of it to come on, it only shows a light beside the power light. so I thought of may be the voltage isn't enough because I use it with a small generator in school. I increased the current/voltage it still didn't come up, so forgetting that I have increased. the current/votage, I toggled a switch behind the CPU from 230 to 110 and something exploded inside. I returned it back to 230, it didn't affect the working condition of the generator but doesn't come on, I switched it to 110, it affects the generator's working condition which shows a component has burnt or spoiled. what could be the problem, and what should I do?

How do I know original charger? Since my original charger was changed where I repaired my laptop .I Ave been buying charger every 2.5 months...am tired sef..when someone is still using a charger of more than five years now..

I'm suspecting a corrupt Me region(bios)

You need to flash an upgraded version,via bios programmer.

Hello nlandees how u a dey? Their is this issue that am worried about. I do architectural renderings and I don't know which to choose between a UK used dell latitude 2010 version with 1st generation core i5 and Intel graphics and a dell inspiron brand new thats 2018 version with 7th generation core i3.and 8gb ram. The brand new dell is more than twice the price of the fairly use d one. Am in a fix.and am on a tight budget.
