To all beginners who feel like they are not making progress, courage !

Keep at it.....attend your classes (online or physical)....more importantly put in the hour or two daily to reinforce what you've learnt.

Immerse yourself in french media....TV (dstv 437), radio and newspapers (online).....even when it seems you don't understand anything......keep at it.

Please I have a question for people that have requested remark from IELTS and their band score changed.

Does your TRF number change when they issue a new test report form?

I want to update my express entry profile and I don't want to wait till I get the trf because I don't know when that will be.

Thanks.

I just came back to this post, I did request for a remark and my writing changed from 6.5 to 7, this is just encouragement for anyone that is waffling on requesting a remark.

Hello all,
Please I have a question, I am looking at the criteria for 190 visa class for New South Wales, and I noticed under the priority skilled occupation list, the availability of my occupation is listed as 'Limited" does anyone really know what that means? I attached an image here.

Thanks

Hello, please I have a question,
My first degree(4 years) was from Covenant University a tier 2 uni and 2nd degree(2 years) from Unilag a tier 1 uni, VETASSESS has asked me to provide transcript for both universities, my question now is will I get the 15points for my Msc from a tier 1 uni?
Thanks.

Thank you.

At the moment, it is not valid for 189 as only applicants with 90 and above have been invited in recent times however this theory works for 190/491. A cabinet maker with 75 points may get an ITA before an Engineer with 95 point.

I wrote the exam on the 7th of march in Lagos and I got an email that my result will be posted by UPS, with a tracking number, went to UPS website and they haven't sent it out because of the lockdowns.

Please house has anyone experienced this? My husband wrote ielts (computer based) over 6 weeks ago. Results were viewed online but as I send this m, TRF hasn't been received. Mail was sent to BC and the only response from them was the query has been directed to the relevant quarters. This was a week and a half ago. What else can one do. Thanks

Hello, please I have a question, I pulled the below quote from someone that put together a guide for applying for the PR visa:

"Some occupations are invited on pro-rata basis, these occupations are allocated a certain number of invite every draw. So this means people in less popular occupations will get invited faster and also with lesser points. Eg. A valuer can apply with 65 points today and get an invite next month while a software developer with 75 points will have to wait longer. Think of this as every occupation having a separate queue and people getting attended to faster than the other based on the length of the queue. "

So my question is this,
- Is this information still valid, because I know that Australia sometimes change their requirements.
- I'm a Landscape Architect, does this mean that if my occupation is less popular and I have a score of 75(my stimulated score) I will get invited even though my score is not up to 90(the current score).

Thanks.

Good day everyone,
This thread has been very informative, I'm sorry for asking a question that may have been previously answered, but I need clarification on a few things.

- My first degree (Architecture) was from a private university and second degree(Landscape architecture) from Unilag, practising for over 3 years in the same field I studied in(Landscape architecture), does anyone know the likely outcome of my skills assessment?

- What kind of documents does VETASSESS request from you? do they request transcripts for your education assessment?

Thanks.

Please does anyone have a valid phone number for the UNILAG transcript office, I have tried the number posted on their website but it never goes through.

Thanks in advance.
