Religion / If It Were You, What Would You Have Done To Please Each Other? by Reader1988: 7:51am On Jan 02, 2017
I am a Christian that lives in the North. Yesterday my friend invited me and ask me for the type of drinks I cared for. He mentioned all the soft drinks. Eg Pepsi, Fanta, Malt, etc ( everyone looked at me and smiled). Then I looked up and say Pepsi. We rocked and enjoyed together with my Pepsi but they were not comfortable with my Pepsi. But I really enjoyed everything with my Pepsi and their alcohol. If it were you, what would you have been done to please them since that you enjoyed everything they did and appreciate their kind gesture. Lalasticlala front page please. Happy new year.

Car Talk / Re: A Good Samaritan Did This For A Stranger On His Way Home From Cross Over Night. by Reader1988: 7:34am On Jan 02, 2017
GaggleNSwallow:

1. Front page refers to topics you see when you visit Nairaland homepage.

2. Lalasticlala is anything that loves snake and occupies space.

3. OP is one who creates a thread.

4. You can create a thread in any section by clicking on the "Create a New Topic" icon which is usually at the top.

5. Unfortunately, not everyone can see your topic, especially if you create them in one of those remote sections that Seun doesn't give a damn about.
Tnx. God bless u

Apparently this Government might seem slow, but they are going to do well. They might not have given the N5,000 campaign promise, but this is even better....oya wailers, over to you.

Religion / Re: Why Don’t Jehovah’s Witnesses Celebrate Christmas? by Reader1988: 4:41pm On Dec 25, 2016
Candycrusher:
The best form of Christianity is practiced by Jehovah's witnesses

No extortion in the name of tithes and offerings

No daddy G.O's elevated to a mini-god status

They frown at worldly aquisitions contrary to biblical teachings and they don't preach nor encourage materialism

Yet ignorants peeps will call them by bible twisters
The best Muslims are kala- katu, they don't Believe in Hadith, Tariqh and Fiqh and Shites. No matter what, Christians cannot be terrorists and bomb themselves like Islam

LEMME ASK A QUESTION WEN MUSLIMS ARE CELEBRATING SALAH OR WATEVA DO YOU POST THREAD DISCREDITING THIER CELEBRATIONS?

MUST YOU BE A MUMU ON CHRISTMAS DAY?!!
Muslims Sunni don't celebrate Maulud but no Christian will post a trash. Not all Muslims believe in Hadith but none will post a trash. Woe unto dull and unskillful people looking for cheap popularity

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Is The NPF Recruitment A Real Sign Of Nigeria Truly Changing? by Reader1988: 2:00pm On Dec 08, 2016
You are hundred percent right. There is no transparency in Cadet ASP especially. In the north-eastern zones. Most ASP selected are based on senatorial recognition. Which merit as there was no medical screening, race and so on. Northern people prefer police to other forces because it is easy. But, I can boldly say, the recruitment of ASP cadet, especially northern people is a fraud.

NYSC / Re: Hilarious Excuse A Corper Gave For Redeployment by Reader1988: 6:42pm On Nov 22, 2016
All these lies. To me, there should be space on discharge Nysc letter that reads:
Redeployment: From Kaduna to port Harcourt
Reason for redeployment: Marriage/Health/Wizard. Apart from marriage, it should be stated that their redeployment is as a result of sickness so that if they want to search for government or private work. The sickness stated on their certificate will affect them negatively. This is the only way to avoid all these lies. I want someone to help me on how to post a comment or creating a thread on nairaland by flashing: 08067551386
