The simple reason why the school is in a terrible state

1. Back in the 1970's, govt took over many mission schools, and kept on building more, in the process adding burdens onto the budget.

2.Fees in many govt schools are kept low. So low that funding is difficult. In addition many of our governors like free education :it wins votes, but is disastrous for school funding.

The only way Yobe state can improve this school is by raising school fees to 44000 naira per term, and raising taxes to fund increases in the education budget. Or they make the school public private, by handing them over to a NGO, secular or religious.

At the federal level, if we can privatize universities completely, we may free up more valuable cash for primary schools.

Which Yobe school students pay 44k as school fees. Fear God. Education in Yobe state is free of charge

If you're encountering the "Application closed" thingy, it simply means that your journey to DPR through this recruitment has ended. You need to move on and try again when there are openings again. It's just logical to deduce this.

If you got an invite and your portal is closed I don't know what that means.

Trust there are many inconsistencies in the process I agree.

This information came from people in PPPRA, NLNG and DPR but of course may be wrong.

Please those with their portal open, did u receive SMS text as well? Or those with text, is your portal open or closed.

Those whose portal is editable are the ones with documents mismatched. That is, the name they used to apply differs from the names on the uploaded documents . Like someone pointed out he didn't write maiden name but it is on result. If yours is closed, it means your documents are intact.

My brother, I am thinking the same thing too. It was a slogan used for those with pending application. If others profile is still editable, it means application closed stand for disqualified
