Hi every one, I urgently need a mini flat around yaba, shomolu, onipanu and palmgrove axis with these given specs. Should be a neat house (if its newly built, great!). standard size rooms, all tiled, good kitchen, toilet and baths (if it has extra visitor toilet, great!), water running, in a compound and in a nice environment.

My budget is rent maximum of N350K, agreement and commission maximum of 50k each. (making a total of 450K max). Kinldly call this number if you have something that matches my description,. For most of you, everything begins and end on social media where you can do and say whatever you want. If you have a desire to be involved in any industry or business after your education (i can see you are a student, probably a jambite sef, else you would understand what an official name for a position means) go ahead and fool yourself around by addressing people with whatever you like. You can call ur managing director 'managing partner' or write a letter to your local government chairman referring to him as 'district head' since they mean the same. If you have the opportunity to meet Osibanjo anywhere, call him deputy president.

As far as Nigeria is concern, its strictly deputy governor, u can read up the constitution if u're in doubt, that is the official name for the position. Every country with her own, and as long as she is not referring to a deputy governor in Ghana or Burundi, as long as its the second in command of a Nigerian state, she goofed big time. its deputy.

While I agree with you that vice and deputy are synonyms, you should know that their are official terms used to describe all offices or any political post. the fact that the second in command to our president is called 'vice president' and d second in command to the senate president is called 'deputy senate president' is an example even though the two offices carried same 'president' title.
Like i said in my post its not about her education, its ignorance, u cant choose what title to use in addressing a position, u use the official title for the post. For example, can u refer to the vice president as deputy president while addressing him officially? Even though u are not wrong grammatically, u're wrong technically.
If u make such an error in a letter it will not be treated because it is 'not properly addressed'.

Those specs are crazy, right?

So I got into the class VII bootcamp smiing with my Acer laptop with the following specs:
RAM: 3GB
Processor: intel core i-5 2.6GHz 4-cores
Graphics: nvidia GeForce 600m 2GB dedicated Graphics memory
HDD: 300GB
And every other required stuffs.

Guess what, I balled during bootcamp cos my laptop was class. But wheb the fellowship started, the balling dropped cos I needed to run lots of RAM and Processing power consuming apps at the same time. The issue is my RAM, not Processing power.

A laptop with an intel dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, intel HD family chipset graphics with 128MB memory and 100GB of HDD will definitely get you through bootcamp if it works at optimal level, But it will collapse during the fellowship program,
I think the reason they specified those specs is to ensure you have a smooth training period prior you getting a better laptop, if you make into the fellowship program

Now I get it, guess my machine can take me through bootcamp, after that we'll see what happens, maybe I buy a new 1 if i made fellowship. Btw, i noticed most guys/girls are moving around with dis small mac air when i came 4 interview at andela, are they given out to follows or those people bought it? and if they bought it, is it trough andela?

Did you write or know someone who wrote the test? understand a situation before u blame people. Even sterling knows very well their servers were problematic. While i cannot defend those that were able to do the test and failed, most of the applicants were either not able to log in or were not able 2 complete d test. Since sterling wont reschedule the test, they have no choice than to move on. Referring to them as failures is totally wrong. If you are currently employed and you did not taste disappointments during your job search then you are 1 in millions. we all have been down there before. The best thing to do is to advice them to learn from the experience.

I was finally able 2 finish & passed, used all browsers on my laptop, e no work, run 2 phone, chrome, uc browser, next, all 2 no avail. I tried operamini by 11:50 and alas! d thing dey go small small. I actually finished 20mins past 12, D time just restart after running out at 1st. thanx 2 my usually abandoned opera mini.

These results are suprising as unit 046 id house of a PDP chieftain where they usually hold their Local Government/Ward Meetings. About 100 pdp agents were even here early this morning 2 pick up their identification tags. D man was dejected to say d least.

I was about 2 download this app on play store when i noticed some thing on d permission requests. It will have acess to my personal information, device information, mail, sms and others. Why do I have 2 grant access to an app which i will be using 2 post infos that can put my security at risk.

If there was ballot box snatching or any other irregularity in my polling unit and i snap and post it to d world tru this app, hw sure am I that the criminals cannot trace it back to me and attack me 4 exposing them? when they can access my info either by compelling the developers to release it or hacking their database/records. In situation like dis, users where suppose 2 be completely annonymous. More like a wistle blower.
