thepoweruser: Hello, people. Admiring Tecno's tactics here. Quite impressive, but aren't they forgetting something? PS: Oh; and this is for the @OP who said, along with many ''reputable'' blogs and news sites that Tecno Mobile won the Camera Innovation Award at IFA 2020 in Berlin. Well, I'm familiar with IFA's awards and I've checked their website and it appears that that award does not exist. Why do I say this? Simple. Google 'IFA 2020 award winners'. I did that. Nothing. Checked IFA's website. No mention of Tecno, or that award at all. Trust me, I searched reputable tech websites (like GSMArena, Wccftech, Forbes, Techradar et al) and I saw nothing! Even AndroidAuthority posted a list of the winners at IFA Berlin; which by the way was a virtual event. Tecno wasn't mentioned, nor that 'Camera Technology Innovation Smartphone Gold Award'. Now, if they did win this, why wasn't it on IFA's website?? PPS: Hey: I am not hating on any brand. I just want the truth. Comments welcome. After all, didn't Lenovo make some very wild claims about one of their phones?
Jimmyubah2: Stop lying. No phone brand has resale value than xiaomi. You could buy a xiaomi phone for 50k in 2019 and still sell it for 55k in 2020/2021.
Looool Not my friend reselling his Note 8 Pro of 80k for 45k after one week of usage.
defemz: LOL. I just dumped Tecno camon. Hell that phone showed me pepper. After 6 month to a year, it started seriously misbehaving. It was so slow that carrying out a basic task like browsing the web was a pain in the butt. The performance was abysmal. I remember I regularly had to factory- reset my phone almost every week before it could be usable. It will interest you to know the phone internal storage was at only 55%, when phone reach 65% internal storage, it clams up completely like WTF. I researched Tecno chips and realized Tecno adopts cheap and inferior MediaTek chips that are perhaps programmed to fail within a short time forcing you to go and buy another Tecno phone less than a year. I recently broke out of this vicious cycle and got me a Nokia phone. Trust me the difference is like comparing God and Satan. So
So what am I saying, do yourself a favor and forget all the hypes from all these Nairaland paid marketers and stir clear of the overpriced junk called Tecno, unless you wish to be buying new Tecno phones every 6 month.
This is false. I can show you my Camon CX of 2017. It's working perfectly.
