SenecaTheYonger: When a yahoo boy is caught, arrest the women they’re involved with also and arrest the family members that benefited knowingly or unknowingly from the proceeds. They will get lesser sentence. (The ones that benefitted unknowingly will get just 24 hrs detention)
This technique operates on the principle of the domino effect.
The police won't have to do much work here because fraudsters will be handed over to the police ASAP by their own families and pairs. The only way to eradicate this is to build a very strong stigma around it.
Dubai has started excluding Nigerians from job search, soon other countries will follow, both online and offline jobs. Before you blame politicians, remember they don't need work, but you do need a job and your options are becoming slim. This is not normal, we have to end it while there's still time, before we're blacklisted from the whole world.

Christianity Etc › Re: Africa Is Waking Up: I'm Satisfied With What I Heard Today. by RealEzee(m): 7:40pm On Jul 09, 2020 |
Kobojunkie: Everytime Jesus Christ stood up against the teachings of the Pharisees, He was teaching against the religions of men which is comprised of the doctrines and traditions of men. Jesus Christ did not come to preach religion but a new way to God who never asked us for religion but for our obedience.
** substituted from another Bible translation for better understanding of what is impacted and that new way required obedience right?, hence some sort of following, moving from the old way or perceived wrong way of doing things to a better way right? So it wasn't the religion been the issue but the practices of the people or rather their approach to it, cos like you said Jesus taught against their approach, which was and is the root cause of alot issues among religious or rather people of 'faith'. |

westland0556: If Jurisdiction can be used as part of his defence.. Then you will have to tell us, why the founder/owner of Liberty reserve, (the then digital currency) is still with American Government, cooling his head in one of their notorious prisons. To remind you, he is a Costa Rican by nationality, was latter arrested in Madrid Spain and extradited from there to the United States of America since more than 6years ago. If you believe that Hushpuppi can get fair hearing with all the evidences against him.. Then you shld be able to believe everything.. We are talking of FBI here and not EFCC.. Before FBI carried out any of thier operations, they must have gotten adequate facts and evidence to prosecute and nail the culprit.... My opinion sir yet FBI still lose some cases too tho, let's not forget that part |

adonainana: Let the legal battle begin,
But the thing is FBI already hacked his instagram, gmail, and i cloud accounts based on the affidavit the FBI agent first submitted
Google and Gmail are both American companies, they easily snitch on you and dont tell you to change your password or anything so in your end you just keep logging in and logging out like nothing is happening.
Also his phone records appeared to have been compromised
Even the affidavit the FBI guy submitted had his passport in it ( they could only get that from going into somewhere private in your email )
Then from his bank accounts, large transfers would have been deposited into it someway somehow.
Then the large cash found on him ( any amount more than £10,000 is money laundering on the spot )
The only evidence they probably would tell the jury probably be based on either a conspiracy to defraud.
Based on my experience there wont be much oral evidence, just documentary evidence from the big tech companies saying what was going on in his email accounts and his bank accounts
Conviction easy to secure on this alone without anyone testifying to say he defrauded them and vice versa
Most things the jury would see would just be reports of him discussing wire transfers and how it eventually landed in his account.
Normally the only way to defend a case like this is to argue perhaps a bank learnt you the money or you had a very rich portfolio to start with.
If huspuppi lawyer is smart, he can always start a defence all the tech reports here and there had nothing to do with his client and perhaps a blackmail by the prosecution to make his client pay for unexplained losses elsewhere.
He could also use jusridiction, hush was always in dubai all the time, so hence no connection.
But the hush guy too no go school so im sure he wont be able to even communicate his defence to his lawyer, all he was busy doing was stealing money and buying gucci up and down.
What a pity

Remimadrid1: I am not a Huawei fanboy, only a lover of good phones. I have used a Huawei phone with no issue whatsoever till it was stolen, and am currently using Redmi Note 8 with small issues. In the long run, both are good phones that I will recommend anyone to buy. But right now, there is no comparison considering the US government ban of Huawei products. When or if the ban is lifted, then we can argue which is better. ".... But right now, there is no comparison considering the US government ban of Huawei products. When or if the ban is lifted, then we can argue which is better." Did the US government ban Samsung too? , from the current data they also experienced a decline too, since your angle was Huawei is doing better 'currently', your statement not mine tho. Is it the US government that determines the specs on these phones? Is the US the only market Samsung and Huawei operate? Just my earlier statement, when both brands present some of their products within the same price bracket, Xiaomi offers better specs sha, we already used some examples to confirm that, and since you took the discussion to both companies sales 'currently', Xiaomi is doing better from the data gathered. Huawei is good no doubt, Xiaomi good too. As you see me so ehn, na OnePlus I like pass sef but that's doesn't stop me from acknowledging other dope brands too. |

StaffofOrayan: The message was simple enough Read a bit about cause and effect cause and effect made you to think I'm a PDP rat abi? Cos that's your response. To the matter at hand we are talking about an alleged corrupt individual been brought light and next thing we hear is calling out pdp, what's up with that? Aren't you not tired of hearing pdp this pdp that? When APC did their campaign didn't they promised to fix the nation? Didn't Fashola say solving our nation electricity issue isn't rocket science and other promises the party made? Till date have they been able to solve it still? yet the Fashola came up to say if pdp invested funds into the country without servicing the nation's debt we would better now, as if na wetin we dey hear at this point in time. Are they not budgeting year in year out, enacting more and more revenue generating policies on the masses and yet nothing to show for it? Didn't you also see how they handled the Covid situation with borrowering from all corners of the earth yet we are still waiting for how they accounted for it? Stop the blame game on the past and fix the present as promised, abi when they were campaigning they did as if they got it all figured out, they have a master plan, if they can't they should stfu, none are saints either. |

Crispels: He didn’t say anything.
Stop using anything to justify fraud. Nigeria is not the only country with bad or corrupt politicians. I know Nigerian politicians are heartless and useless but why did hush puppi not hustle legitimately despite being in a developed country? I have friends in Dubai who worked as cleaners before getting good jobs there. The issue here is greed and impatience. There are dozens of countries that are worse than Nigeria in every ramification but their citizens are not reputed for this nonsense image Nigerians now have all over the world. These guys have ruined so many opportunities for millions of Nigerians all across the world. People know that politicians in most parts of the world are scums - so if your country has corrupt politicians - people won't really use that to judge you unlike when your citizens have a history of notorious crimes. There are times abroad when I introduced myself as a Nigerian and the foreigners there all agreed that Nigerians are fraudsters based on the activities of these stupid yahoo boys. They think we are all dishonest people due to this whole nonsense yahoo boys that will all die a miserable death. The problem is not bad governance but greed and impatience. Hush Puppi found his way to Dubai - where he has access to good jobs and stuff. He chose not to work but engage in fraud. And he ended up spending his loot on luxury lifestyle. If you take all these Naija yahoo boys to the USA(where there is good governance) and give good jobs - they will still look for means to scam people. Because they want to drive Benz. Live lavishly forgetting that life is a process and things take time. Most of these people are not looking for how to meet their basic needs. They are all in a hurry to live in luxury - neglecting the fact that people in developed countries largely live an average lifestyle. When Americans deride Nigerians with terms like ”Nigerian Prince” or ”419”, do they refer to Nigerian politicians or ordinary Nigerians who engage in cybercrime? This shows you who really brings us shame. Nonsense! there is always two sides to a coin, both sides supported by facts, yet no one is supporting crime. |
