Trying to say the Torah is scripture to the exclusion of the Bible is misleading. The Torah comprises the first 5 books of the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament), also called the Law (or the Pentateuch, in Christianity). The Bible incorporates the Torah in addition to other writings inspired by God. In Matthew 5:17 Jesus made reference to the Law (Torah) and the writings of the Prophets. In Luke 4:17 when Jesus walked into a synagogue, he was handed the book of Prophet Isaiah to read from. The synagogue recognized the writings of the Prophets as scripture. The prophesies about the messiah that the Jews were expecting were in the writings of the Prophets. All these are incorporated in the Bible. So for someone to now say only the Torah is scripture even in the days of Jesus, that person is just being silly.

Now on the issue of Trinity. If asked who discovered America some will say Christopher Columbus. But we know there are several human beings who have been there before him.

Though it is agreed that the Council of Nicea in 325 AD proclaimed Trinity as a Christian doctrine, the concept of Trinity is established in the Bible by more than one verse and resonates through from the Old to the New Testaments covering hundreds of years before the council. It is a fact that the Coucil did not re-write the Bible to support Trinity. They only came about it from several supporting verses in the Bible to give the concept a name. They did not create the concept, they only gave it a name. Jesus has been God to Christians well before the Council of Nicea. John 1:1 was clear about it: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Reno is trying to lead astray Christians who do not know the Bible and some of the Histories of Christianity over the years. It is pitiable he calls himself a Pastor.

I get your point when said Reno holds the Torah higher than the bible,he gave his reasons,but in regards to his discuss about the doctrine of trinity he is not far from the truth cos the old testament nor does the new testament support this idea but only contradicts it. the commentaries from the bible and the Torah citing the existence of these 3 entities as one personage is not evident nor do the jews believe in a trinity as taught by the council of nicea.

The Old testament talks about the plurality of Gods ,for in Genesis states "let us make man",king of Kings,promised messiah,etc the prophets of the old testament taught of the coming of the son of God,not God the father coming as a son.

The new testament testifying of the these 3 beings as seperate entities.christ baptism for example ,Christ on earth,voice from heaven saying this is my beloved son,the sign of the holy ghost confirming to John the Baptist of the divinity of Christ.
Christ in many instances talks of him been sent by the father to do his will,praying to the father in many instances,even on the cross,Christ telling his disciples that the comforter(the holyghost) will come to them to teach them all things after his demise,even Stephen when filled with the holy ghost when been stoned saw Christ on the right hand of God the father etc like many instances in the bible supports the nature of God the father,the son and the Holy Ghost as 3 separate entities yet working in unison and one personage manifesting in 3 forms.

Doctrine of trinity and others alike were debated in the old church,some things were changed.The early catholic church faced lots of challenges in points of doctrine and administration and that led to the break away ,those times no funny sha .
