Family / Born By Mistake by realhonips: 3:34am On Oct 28, 2018
Once upon a time, in a town called Lehuru, there exist two kids named Paito and Dallas.
One was born into a poor family and the other into a rich family.

Growing up was fair and unfair on the ends of these two kids. Until one day the parent of the poor child took it upon themselves to confess to their son about his birth saying his birth happened owing to unconsciousness and carelessness, that they never planned to add another child but it happened and they can't abort. Automatically, the message caused the child to become seized and depressed owing to the fact that he can't just start praising them for not aborting.

While on the other end, at the rich home. The parents also have the same situation. They as well took it upon themselves to confess to their son about his birth. Then after their confession, the child smiled and said "Thank God, I wasn't aborted.

Education / Nigerian Youths Are Educated And Not Lazy. by realhonips: 7:19pm On Apr 19, 2018
EXCEL TODAY!One day, I was training on Data Analysis and Interpretation using Excel, SPSS, SAS and MATLAB at a company in Ikeja. Then we had to take these courses one after the other. We started with Advanced Excel to SPSS to SAS then MATLAB. Even before we started the day-long training session, a lady alarmed at the back saying: “a lot of people know Ms excel let’s skip it and move to something else”. I smiled and ignored her, I believed she was right. You could also be having the same confidence that you are very good in a particular software package but we might not say until you are being tested. The session progressed well and we had a lot to learn. Then something happened during the afternoon session, this same lady made a statement I will never forget. She said from her back seat “oh! I never knew excel could do that”. She had learnt something different from what she previously believed she knew. You could also be wondering what that new thing she learnt is, maybe I can teach her! Again, you could be right, until you are being tested. Most people have this illusion of knowledge that they know something and therefore block rooms for learning and growth. As it’s popularly put, “A trained person performs better than the rest”.Most people believe they are good in Excel but the numerous training I have conducted in the past have proved otherwise.I know you want to learn that NEW THING as well.Hit me up asap at 08104598239 (via call or Whatsapp). other trainings available on SPSS, MATLAB or SAS

Career / Re: Difference Between A Job And A Career by realhonips: 4:47pm On Mar 05, 2018
realhonips:
Difference between Job and Career

career vs job which one do you have? Although these terms are often used interchangeably to mean being employed but looking deeply at them they are two diverse concepts. An ability to understand what the distinct differences between a career vs job could make a whole lot of difference and positively affect your professional life.
A job is a task or piece of work, especially one that is paid while a career is an occupation undertaken for a significant period of a person’s life and with opportunities for progress.A job and career both involve getting paid but a career is more focused on a lifelong activity than a job which is usually immediate and more short term.
A job compared to career presents less professional growth opportunity and recognition for you especially thinking about both concepts long term. Specialised training and other self-development skills training are aimed at contributing to your lifelong pursuit in the chosen career field.A career presents you with more opportunitiesfor professional growth as well as a chance tobecome a thought leader and specialist in your field. A job, on the other hand, presents you with an opportunity to earn your next pay and very low or non-existent career progression opportunities.
A job is not a lifelong journey but an immediate hustle with the sole end goal of the pay while a career is a journey. A career journey as defined by Oxford dictionaryis a long and often difficult process of personal change and development.
A job guarantees less professional fulfilment while a career will ensure you are more fulfilled in terms of career goals and personal achievements. Professional recognition, achievements, awards and rewards are more likeable to be awarded to you for a career thanfor a job.People with a career usually come into work on Mondays happier than those on a job. This is simply because of a career routines feel lessboring to them and it’s a launchpad to their future goals.
Neither a career or job is more important, the one you choose will be based on your needs, age, qualification and more. It’s important to note sometimes you can take on several jobs to stay afloat financially, find your feet, passion before you commit to building a career. It is also important to understand that if you are at the start of your career, try not to get stuck doing a job for purely monetary gains. Building a career is a lot of work and takes commitment but it’s is more rewarding financially and on the long run, helps you develop yourleadership skills, positions you more as an industry leader than a job.In conclusion, take an audit of your professional life and decide which path you’re on if it suits you or not and most importantly make required changes if needed. #jobbermancareertips

Car Talk / Re: 5 Things Beginner Drivers Should Know by realhonips: 9:15am On Jan 10, 2018
BrandSpurNG:
We begin this year with an important article on 5 things beginner drivers should know. Driving in Nigeria is fast becoming a child’s play because more often than not, a boy of 14 may have been watching his father drive the family and decides to try it when no one is around, other times parents encourage their children or servants to run errands with the car when it is clear they have not gone to a driving school, and immediately they hit the tarmac they become too dreadful.

Driving in some parts of Nigeria like Lagos and Abuja is not that easy judging from how busy these cities are, both in terms of population. However, just the same way you cannot teach someone how to swim by a mere swimming book pamphlet, teaching someone how to drive should be more practical than throwing a bunch of key to a kid to drive the family around. Driving for the first time after graduating from driving school? Here are 5 things you should know.

Practice Makes Perfect

What you learned in your driving school is not really the practical aspect of driving; perhaps you learned about the different kinds of cars and how to operate each one, and you were allowed to drive around some areas with the big L dangling on that plate number, you were also probably taught about the legal rules of the road as well as some basic safety rules.

Just like everything else in life, knowledge doesn’t end with a study. The driving school you graduated is a certification that you have been taught everything you need to know to drive a car, but it will need quite a lot more actual practice for you to actually be a professional. Take every opportunity to get the hang of driving. Initially, you should have yourself accompanied by an experienced driver when you drive around.

Later on, you can do the driving for your family members. Drive at a speed that you know you can manage. The facility for driving at high speed is learned through experience. You should get experience driving through all kinds of terrain and all kinds of weather.

Look Before You Leap

Even before you get into your car, you should examine it inside and out. Be sure it is road-worthy. Always put on your safety belt and require everyone else to do so. This means that you shouldn’t have more people in the car than the number of belts you have. It is not just the car which should be 100 percent ready but you yourself. Finish up your hair, makeup and any phone calls you need to make before pressing the gas. Driving deserves your complete attention, for everyone’s safety.

Stay Awake And Alert While Behind The Wheel

When you start driving, you should be alert and constantly so. Update yourself every second on the conditions of the traffic, the road, the weather, the other vehicles and the pedestrians. This applies to vehicles and people in front of you that as well as those behind you. Drive defensively (avoidance rather than encounter) all the time whether with regards to the traffic lights, other vehicles or people. If you are driving at night through long distances, be sure to have someone with you to keep you awake. Listening the loud and lively music might help. Don’t get into the driver’s seat if you are sleepy. If you become sleepy in the middle of the trip and there is no one with you, stop, check into a motel and sleep. Be sure to inform the people who are expecting you. Lots of people figured in major accidents because they fell asleep on the wheels.

Be Always Ready For Surprises

Never take for granted that you know the road or the terrain, even if you are familiar with it. Each time you drive should be a new experience. Always negotiate steep curves carefully no matter how many times you have gone through there. Be prepared for sudden moves other vehicles and people may make. In this regard, you will have to develop the ability to see through the corner of your eye.

Also, if you are driving through uncertain areas, keep all your doors locked. In this regard, it is useful to have a car with an automatic lock mechanism which can be triggered from the driver’s seat. All Innoson cars have this feature.

Observe Traffic Rules

Naturally, you have to know and follow the rules of traffic. The most important rules you should remember are not to drive when you have drunk hard drinks, never have drunken persons or persons high on drugs with you in the car. Know when to move and when to match your brakes. Remember the people you left at home are eager to see you return unhurt.
