[quote author=Herald47 post=39348146]Why are my igbo brothers disturbing themselves about the ss peeps in their quest for biafra.the 5 se states, asaba, aniocha north and south and oshimili north and south are okay by me,singapore's landmass is below 800km2 and still it's far far better than nigeria that has a landmass of over 900,000km2 and vast deposit of crude oil and gas, hong kong has a landmass less than 1800km2 yet it's far better than nigeria.don't be intimidated with the saying that igboland is landlocked, azumini river thorough dredging won't cost more than $2b dollars,it's it $2b dollars that igbo nation can't afford?,they may also try to intimidate you by saying 'how can you dredge a river transversing another nation'do not listen to them it's an international waterways.
it pains me that our representatives are after their pockets, they also do join the north and sw to say that we are landlocked or we won't be better off seceding because the are enjoying the wealth of the federation with the north and sw they don't care about the pains and neglects of the average igboman,am sure those igbos that are against the dredging of azumini river and thorough dredging of river niger are those igbos that have been bribed by the north and sw.
Anambra state alone with it's huge human, mineral resources and rapid human development are enough to become a country, human capital development matters more than mineral resources in a developed/developing nation e.g japan, china, ethiopia, germany, egypt, switzerland, belgium, netherlands e.t.c.if the growth of a nation is determined by landmass and mineral resources(especially crude oil)russia and venezuela would have become the richest countries in the world.thanks[/quo

Bros, thanks for saying my mind.I don't know what they are looking for. They are carrying elephant on their head n chasing ant.I don't understand why an igbo man can stoop so low and being disgraced overtime.
If anyone deny igbo, deny him back. We learnt absolutely nothing from the civil war.We better stay back n fight for restructuring than beg people to join us because we will keep trying to pleases them by displeasing ourselves.

Come! stop deceiving yourself ,so did your vote change the outcome of the election? undecided

That you voted for Jonathan was purely your own prerogative and you were not on gunpoint when you voted and it was purely for your own interest - Go figure.

Stop using Jonathan to scam the SS ,this issue here is about ethnicity/regional and not political issue - Politics is all about interest and you voted for your interest and not for the love you have for the Niger Delta - GEJ gave you more juicy appointments and made policies to favor your business man that were already big than the present so?

My friend get out of here, using which useless election to spam who, what have you achieved or got that the Igbos have not.If Edwin Clark can dump GEJ after election what more will I expect from an Internet warrior like you.
Igbos are irritating you now,you can no more accomodate them because they are refugees. What is in port Harcourt that is not in onitsha, aba, enugu or owerri.
You sit down here n insult us because we extended friendship to you.If you have any issue with any comment call the person out in a nice way n stop being micheavous ous.Get out of here with your junk reply biko.

It will be very good if they learn from history and desist from provocative acts. Even we, indigens of Rivers are very mindful of our words when it comes to territories, not to talk of outsiders. Anyway, no need to waste energy on them when we know that it's an exercise in futility.

My friend stop making noise in the Internet.Stop riding on Igbos to rekindle your friendship with your long lost yoruba friends.
1st,it was igbos protesting in Port Harcourt, now it has turned to igbos claiming port Harcourt. All I discerned from their argument which you are now twisting is that a part of port Harcourt was formerly called igweocha which consists of igbo migrants, its all about history n nothing more.Nobody is claiming Port Harcourt as igboland neither is anyone forcing anybody to belong anywhere.Stop feeling funky simply because your fellow Internet warriors were trying to associate with you on Biafra levels.
You never said this pre-election period,as soon as election was over,u put on ur hypocritical glasses to accuse igbos of what u are doing.Just like Edwin Clark dumped his brother Jonathan after election.
Please stop seeking attention n issuing stupid warnings here.Nonsense

The way these Igbo guys write on NL seems like they own anything, like they control anything..

These are migrants who travel from their various villages into Rivers in search of livelihood and next thing they start provoking sensibilities of their host.

PH is not Lagos where the Yoruba tolerate Igbo excesses..What works for you in Lagos will not work here.. Igbos will never learn, maybe until history repeats itself

Opportunity to voice out your hatred, now friends with barcanista n Truckpusher,mr.special adviser.

Very correct
Igweocha is a town occupied by igbo speaking groups of biafra land
The name Igweocha is an igbo word that means "white sand" (in relation to the soil of the area)

Slave master mr harcourt should not have his name used to change the name of a town older than his great grand father

Igweocha is and will rem

ain a town/city in biafra land

Oga please enough of these igweocha nonsense you guys are spewing here,Port Harcourt was renamed long ago,so with other states n cities. You people can be very annoying at times. There are ijaws in ondo states but the other ijaws don't bug them with their history. Can we all get along and be diplomatic in our dealings with one another please. If we can't achieve biafra in peace, lets move on with Nigeria instead stooping so low n being denigrated by nonetities out of desperation.

And you that is ranting now , what have you achieved for your own people ?
Same set of hypocritical humans.
Your kin and kith started the show by not putting their mouth where their money is , so I think common sense demand that you call your folks to order and ask them what their obsession is all about when it comes to Rivers State, Port Harcourt and Niger delta but you're as blind as a bat.
I'm not older than your Nnamdi Kanu and he hasn't achieved anything , he's wanted for treasonable felony and inciting the populace against an elected authority and would be charged to court which will decide his fate. Freedom of speech is not a licence for crime, go figure.

That's all you know how to do,rant on nairaland,go out there and meet your fellow men.Nnamdi is fighting for what he believes, same as Shekau, same as our fathers,Awolowo, ojukwu, etc. They didn't go online ranting. Please come out n join them n stop shouting down on people in nairaland. Who are you giving stupid warning about port Harcourt.
Have you ever called Nnamdi to challenge him, instead you came to the Internet nairaland politics to shout n rant.Abeg stop blowing unnecessary air.

Enough of the insult on igbos, you've been whinning and calling igbos names simply because of little misunderstanding you had with few people. Stop ranting online, leave the Internet,go out n let your voice be heard. You may be older than Nnamdi Kanu who already has a voice.
What have you done for your people as an individual. You are here abusing people as the Internet nairaland politics warrior that you are.
I pity those igbos who give attention to all these people who sit behind a moniker to rant.Where were you when the said protest was taking place.Come out of the Internet n challenge them like a fellow man.Is it the Igbos on nairaland that carried out the protest?Whats with the abuse on igbos.
Feeling funky now,you were enjoying there company during election now u want to use them to ride to your yoruba friends.I don't blame u.

This recent aggressiveness to paint a particular tribe with hatred must stop.If we all keep quiet this will culminate into something dreadful for igbos n the ohaneze and igbo elders are keeping quiet over this.We are now like sheep without shepherd.Anyone does whatever he likes. Is this how we are going to live as biafrans? Before you fan your tribal flame again. At no point did i call IGBO ANONYMOUS.

No hatred and no need to hate. I have Igbo folks around me and we are cool.

The difference is that they don't stoop low to argue the obvious just because they are from another tribe or trying to prove superiority of their tribe.

Get that into your head.

Stop looking for needless points to satisfy your tribal bigotry. Condemn both tribes in their various threads. You are aware of the fight for tribal supremacy that has been going on in this forum, stop feigning ignorance of that fact. You are only deceiving yourself.

FYI, to setup any Surveillance Drone with capability to stay in the Sky for even 2hrs, with Live Multimedia feed, communication, GPRS, Control Centre, etc - N100m will not even install one. And if we are told that their are 1000, then it will not be noting but a Toy. There are even $50 ones on Aliexpress.

@op,pls I'm confused,is lasu resumption forestalled by lasusu or ASUU/ssanu strike?if it's the former I think d sug is not doing well cos I was against Lasg b4 the reduction of the fees,I think d sug should just give up and let the students go back 2 school,a whole academic year is gone n lasu is loosing the little glory remaining,no one wants to be admitted in a school known for incessant strikes n closure,6months of ASUU general,2months of aimless closure, now ASUU/lasu strike,na only lasu waka come?,what about nysc n law school this year?d funniest part is that majority of the students have paid the fees and they are tired of this back n forth.
