I'm even beginning to doubt the authenticity of the people participating in these competition.
competition go start in the morning, and before evening period, over 200 people don hit 20 precent. omo mehn, how?.
even attaining 35 percent at the end of the month can not longer guarantee you top 50 spot.
I doubt If I can ever achieve anything from this competition to be sincere,

there is an issue I want to share with you

People have wasted 5, 10 and 20 years chasing this forex dream, they could have gotten IT degrees, built certifications, developed in other areas but they are stuck and have nothing to show for it.

So in other words, have another source of income. In short, a lot of people that are successful start out from having another source of income, so it gives them less pressure.

All what I wrote here is real life experience. If forex was my primary source of income, well I would be homeless by now LOL.

Can you imagine thinking of your next house rent, car insurance or your kid's school fees and you want to enter a trade thinking that will solve those payments for you, hmmm my oh my.

I was long on GU with some profit, then I saw a pattern that looks like the market is about to dipp. I quickly take the little profit and decide to short GU.. only for the market to surge crazily high after two minutes I took the opposite direction..

Big bosses, sorry, I no bend any rules - 0.1 maximum lot size still stands. And 5 open positions maximum, as well. I ONLY REMOVE A PARTICULAR SETTING (see image) so that anyone who mistakenly take trades above the stipulated 0.1 lot size doesn’t get disqualified, as long as he quickly corrects it. And that was why I say WE will thoroughly check winners' trades to be sure they merit the awards.

And I believe boss Infofirst made the settings like dis, cos I still remember I pulled a 1 lot size trade in one of his contest, but I wasn't disqualified. And I told him dat I closed it as quickly as I opened it.

this is not about bending rules. I enter trade with 1lot and quickly close the trade within 3 seconds with 25pip loss . abeg if na you be organizer does such scenerio what disqualification? I thought such kind of thing is common here.
coz I remember vividly people telling infofirst that dey mistakenly open a position with big lot and close it immediately. and any time such complain are tendered to infofirst he always wave it off and ask them to continue trading. this is not about cheating, this is about human error.
Let any one of you who has never committed this innocent mistake be the first to throw a stone.

what about those kind of news reaction of which the market goes very very deep on one direction and immediately take the opposite direction all within few minutes?
how do you cope with such kind of market reaction during news hours trading high leverage?

if the price takes the opposite direction before going toward ur intended direction, won't you May have received a margin call before the price goes to your intended direction?

or what if the price takes your intended direction only to reverse back within a few minutes. won't that result to margin call as par sey na very high leverage you dey use.

there is no limits to the number of positions you are permitted to open per day. you can open 100 positions if you like. but don't trade morthan 5 lots at a point in time. you can trade more than 100 lots a day if you like. but you shouldn't go above 5 lots in all your open positions at a point in time.
if u trade 5 lots in the morning, you can close the trade and trade another 5 lots in the afternoon, you can as well do the same in the evening.bottom line is you have to close one 5 lots to be able to trade another 5 lots . hope u get it now

Like you i haven't gone into prop firms yet because i don't have the right strategy yet to use.

My risk management is very sound but my trading performance especially this last 7 months hasn't been that impressive. But I've been trading this same way for a couple of years now so i know it's a phase that i go through - Make money today lose tomorrow ( i work on a principle - my biggest loss is never as big as my biggest profit),

I'm completely numb to any trades i take, the cycle of recent just tire me but overall over a period of time i am profitable.

My goal for a while now has always been to be a trader aiming for the darwinex top traders standards. Which has made me reduce my risk per trade tremendously ( I draw so much inspiration from those guys, oaktrader & co) and yes I've made solid progress

While some bosses here dey take am personal with prop firms i just dey take time do my research. So when I'm ready I'll even go back to trade demo sef before i carry vawulence go there.

if only I can be completely Numb to every trade I take

Sorry about your disqualification. Hope this is not an impulse trading situation? BTW how about your entries? I feel you should try to check those trades and understand why you lost them. This could help to better organise yourself.

it was just a case of series of misfortunes.. stayed in short position for several hours and the price just stayed at same zone and refused to go down. then, gradually the price print a bullish entry pattern. on seeing the bulish entry pattern, I got paranoid and decided to close my short position with some losses in order to be on the safer side if incase the bull entry pattern materialized, just immediately I step out of the market after 8hours of holding that position, 3 extremely long bearish candles happened, worth at least 800pips.. I nearly ran mad with anger..

this kind of scenario played out in all the position I took.
