I think the same too. Because I was introduced to a staff of DPR last week. I told him applied. He asked what course, I told him. He said it's good that it's engineering. And not something like Business admin or any HR thing. That he would have told me to move on.
Tor, maybe those of us that are not engineers should carry our load and move on then.

And by the way, won't they consolidate people that didn't get in?
Chei, this psychological trauma is not from here!

According to what I have gathered from passing through DPR's Zonal office at 5, Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, in the last couple of months is that;
1. The number of cars in the front of their office keep increasing (have they already employed new people?)
2. There is no mush parking lots left (if they employ new people, where will they park their cars?)
3. That road is prone to traffic (too much cars due to so much employess?).

Please who has answer to these questions?

God bless you for that info... I worked in Greater Washington for 3 years... Dear ELff, if you can bargain well, they'll pay 50k... Although, I was earning 80k before I left last year... Presently, they have only one data analyst, and you go work in almost 3 - 4 departments... If you want to maintain your sanity, do not go there o... They have like 45 days in a month (it wasn't like that wen I just joined them)...

Apart from nice office ambience, they don't have anything to offer... No structure, nothing... A word is enough for the wise...

Trust me, when shove comes to push, it will become a criteria. for those that were asked about their masters, it was because they provided that information on their portal. if you were in human resource and you had two candidates to access, both scored the same in the aptitude test and interview, and they were also both high. If you had to pick one candidate, what would you do?

In my own opinion, apart from Gods grace, the interview and the aptitude test score, some other factors will definitely affect the fate of a lot of candidates. if you saw the way DPR went about that documentation on interview day, you should realize by now that the status of a candidates documentation will ultimately affect the candidate's chances of success in this exercise
Hmmm

Any update on when DPR will contact successful candidates undecided
All these unnecessary arguments are boring cry,
Good morning,
I would like to call to your attention that this is a very insensitive comment.
No one forced you to be here, so if you find the arguments unnecessarily boring, do the needful. And by the way, it all these arguments that you called unnecessary have kept this thread alive for like two years now. If not for them, this thread would have been somewhere on nairaland rotten away.
Another thing is, years to come, this thread will help the new applicants greatly. Imagine we have a thread this long from other recruitment years. At least our anxiety will be reduced as we will know how patient we should be.
You can't just come here and ask question without due regard for the people like we owe you an answer. Even if you read some pages before commenting, I am sure you must have seen enough speculations about 'possible dates' they will contact, but no, you sha won show over seriousness.
Please let's learn to respect everyone, this is a public forum not private space.
Thank you and have a nice day!

You should also know that if not for top politicians, the DPR team won't have any reason to fly to Abuja. I'm not doubting smatgrid's info but believe me, the merit line is slim. You can not dump anybody from Abba kyari's (presidency) list to say he/she didn't perform well. Except you don't want the recruitment to hold. The DPR team can say anything to an outsider to keep his cool about the whole thing. The young lad that was presumed to be rejected due to poor performance I believe is either the name came in late or the politician that brought the name is not really a top man. Goodluck to all the successful candidates
You people Sha like spreading pessimism like a plague. That's how they have been spreading it since 2016. Some even said it's just for show off that they won't conduct any test or interview.
That one failed, and you all still haven't given up!
Even if the merit list is just 1%... Thank you, we have heard.
Do you have anything else to say?
Because if you don't we have heard enough of this pessimistic views (you might say it's reality - well that's your own problem as my life doesn't depend on DPR).

Please if you want to quote me, say something very reasonable.
Thank you and have a wonderfully nice day.

. NGN 133,000 multiply by 12. Do d math...

Lol bro, it doesn't work like that.
This is just the basic salary.
Your annual salary whether Gross or Net (after deducting Tax, Pension, Housing Contribution and so on) is not only the sum of your basic salary. There are other allowances like Rent, Transportation, 13th Month and so on. So all this add up to the Total Annual Salary.
**Most likely, they will pay the allowances upfront like it has been stated here times without number.

So let's assume her info is accurate.

Your Total Annual Salary as GT 'could' be. (N.B: I said could... Just using it as an example ooo)

Basic Salary - N133,000 * 12 = N1,596,000
Transportation Allowance = N150,000
Rent Allowance = N500,000
13th month = N67,000
Total Annual Salary = N2,313,000.

Hope you get it bro?!

Please note, these are just fictitious figures.

Some people are already working and you can't expect someone that is already working to just leave a coy that pays more or on par with DPR just like that. Loyalty sometimes is key for employees and companies, most esp those that put in as EH.
Decisions have to be made. So talking about packages is not bad at all.
