Olabestonic001: Just a question, do you think Tinubu political prowess came from his wife or his wife's own came from him?
Betty is poor at politics! She gives the vibes of a desperate woman who believes that she can only get one opportunity in life and that has been lost. If she is that politically relevant, she will bid her time, re-strategize, build on her husband legacy and relaunch her political dynasty. But, she can't as she has been crossed with everyone who could help.
Even Tinubu that she could have courted his political favor, she don scatter the place. She is now a political pariah in Nigeria and her children can't be trusted because of her.
Her story should be studied in some political case study of how not to make moves.
You are missing the point which is about the priceless support and encouragement a woman gives her husband to achieve great feats. Marrying a woman who doesn't support your dreams is counterproductive and can an obstacle to achieving those dreams
Where are helinues, yarimo and other Tinubu e-warriors... how can you guys be sleeping this early morning while your Lord and Paymaster is being slaughtered here. Come and quickly do the work you are being paid for
Speaking further, he emphasized, “It’s like a dream come true. I’m heading to the UK tomorrow and will spend a few weeks there. I proposed to secure our relationship”.

Marriage is shaa not for children. They may just date and have fun until they get tired
Edygrin: Emelumba, noted that the low rate of VAT Collection in the State is as a result of factors independent of the economic and infrastructural policies of the State.
He further noted that while the Government has no control over businesses and their operational capability, including how much they remit as VAT, the State Government has created the enabling environment to attract them to the State, adding that it was why the State economy was growing faster than that of many States.
Government of lies @bolded
Which enabling environment did Hope Uzodimma create to attract businesses? Which Imo State economy is growing faster?
Why won't Imo State have the lowest VAT among all states of the federation with the high level of insecurity, lack of policy direction and absence of quality leadership in the state
vikstandon: Bro, in the long run, buildings depreciate while land appreciates.
I’ve seen instances where people purchase structures only to demolish them and construct something new. Buildings eventually become obsolete. It’s wiser to build houses in locations where you can recoup your investment within a few years.
Several factors make people opt for virgin lands in cases where existing structures need to be torn down. These include the cost of demolition, the need for equipment like tractors, labor expenses, and the removal of debris.
You might not agree with my perspective, but that’s the reality as I see it. We’re all wired to think differently.
You need to be smarter. I have used this as my bargaining advantage. I no dey price you structure, most times I dey price land.
Bro Land with a structure on it is priced higher than similar sized land in same location with no structure on it. Also, land with a recent structure on it is priced higher than land with an old structure on it
vikstandon: Fallow land. But the issue there, is that it might be revoked, if you fail to develop it. And if you are unlucky to have Pharaoh wey no sabi Joseph. Somebody like Wicked Wike will revoke it.
what did I just read? Why expose your ignorance on matters such as this?
psucc: By 2nd quarter of next year, it will be on oil revenue sharing as States will have to control oil revenue while paying tax or royalties to the FG. No more FAAC!
Nigeria must be restructured! Nigeria must be a federated State! Fiscal federalism must be the hallmark.
Let the north get set. It's been condoned for so long
Exactly The north is the problem of the north. They have been so used to being spoon-fed with resources from the south. They have been in power at the center for many years with almost nothing to show for it...busy sharing money and jobs to their people without building the people or encouraging business investments.
I hope Tinubu has the political will to bring this feeding bottle system to an end
Tinubu has successfully and singlehandedly reduced the power and influence of the north in national issues. The north is now divided more than ever before
Macphenson: One of the most controversial issues in this Tax Reform Bill is that 60% of VAT to be shared by states will be given to the state it was collected from, It seems by this it will only favour mostly Lagos and Rivers State to the detriment of the Northern states who are collecting more VAT based on population.
Here is my concern, Lagos state was deliberately made the commercial headquaters of the Nation to the detriment of other states the more reason it collects more taxes.
Practically, All the cars entering the country pays their tax to only Lagos state. Even the cars to be used in Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta and Cross River states. Now this is not fair to these states as they have their own seaports but cars are not entering them, the taxes they are supposed to get as a state goes to Lagos state.
Also, Telecom companies pay their VAT in Lagos because their headquaters are located in Lagos, If this new bill is passed, that is no longer fair to all other states where the Telcom companies operate. Telcom companies should now start paying VAT to each state they operate as you can no longer rob Peter to pay Paul.
Oil companies have their headquaters located in Lagos while they operate in different states especially in the Niger Delta. This will no longer be fair if the bill is passed becaused those states where the oil companies operate will start demanding that the oil companies pay thier VAT in those states they operate.
The truth is this bill if passed, is seriously going to open litany of issues which I dont think at the moment the bill captured or resolved it.
Another worrisome dimension, this may prompt the oil producing states to start demanding for 60% of the oil revenues from their respective states, once this happens, chaos will reign supreme in the country.
Stop misinforming the public
Mitsurugi: While the agent must always inform his principal on such issues (and the AG WAS WRONG) the reason Mr. Governor has adduced for not challenging the legality of the EFCC is watery. That a fake police officer helped you apprehend a thief and recover money does not legalize his status.
This goes to the root of the agency's legality and might help it eventually in its independence and effectiveness. Let the right thing be done. In law it is said that nothing can stand on nothing.
The priority of Mr. Governor is not issues bothering on legality but rather he wants the much-needed embezzled money recovered. His reason is therefore not watery. His priorities are clearly defined...not like Tinubu's directionless policies
helinues: I wasn't expecting a threat, respond to my comments appropriately because it be like some of you just like to complain and complain without proffering any solution
Helinues Helinues !!! How many times did I call you ! Hand go soon touch you ! You think hiding behind VPN on Nairaland can protect you
People are impoverished and dying everyday under the crushing weight of the policies of T-pain and you are here defending the government and making a joke out of the suffering of the masses because of the pittance they pay you
