PoliticsRe: IG Bows To Pressure, Suspends E-Motor Registry Enforcement by REALretep(m): 6:27am On Jul 15, 2024
Bobloco:
He said, “Furthermore, contrary to news making the rounds and insinuations about the e-CMR, the NPF wishes to state categorically that the e-CMR is not a revenue-generating platform but an initiative to digitalize policing for effectiveness and general safety of lives and property of Nigeria residents. “

We keep deceiving ourselves in this country...a dysfunctional country
This is data that FRSC already has with Nigerians having to pay every year for proof of ownership and vehicle license registration. Now, the NPF is charging Nigerians to collect the same data

PoliticsRe: Supreme Court Bars FG From Paying Allocations To LGs With Unelected Officials by REALretep(m): 2:28pm On Jul 11, 2024
Good development but still very funny.
I'm just imagining FAAC meetings where every local government will have to be represented for them to get their monthly allocations.

It's just funny that in the 21st century, a government will depend on allocations to function

The next revolution that will engulf this country will be nothing compared to EndSARS if this BAT government and their propagandists don't get the economy to bounce back soon.

All these propaganda serve no useful purpose except to show that Onanuga and his cronies are working really hard

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Army Air Brigade Takes Form With Assault Helicopters by REALretep(m): 1:22pm On Jun 21, 2024

This is still clearly a duplication of functions.
None of these answers my questions of the role of the Nigerian Navy in the Nigerian Armed Forces

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Army Air Brigade Takes Form With Assault Helicopters by REALretep(m): 12:00pm On Jun 21, 2024
tutudesz:
Navy own Helicopters for easy transport of personals to ship and it hasn't affected the Air force.
The communication process between Army and air force takes time. with the army assault helicopter unit, air support can be provided easier and on time.
That of navy is somewhat understandable cos they protect the water by patrolling and flying over it but these army assault helicopters are more like duplication of functions cos that should be the primary role of air force.
My thoughts anyway... those in the armed forces know best...

PoliticsRe: There Is Peace In Rivers State – Fubara Declares Amidst Statewide Tension by REALretep(m): 9:08am On Jun 21, 2024

PoliticsRe: Minimum Wage: NASS May Propose Seizing Defaulting States, LGs’ Allocations by REALretep(m): 4:45pm On Jun 15, 2024
FreeStuffsNG:
That's unconstitutional. It has been decided by the Supreme Court.

They can not legislate for other tiers of government.

May God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
What exactly is unconstitutional?
The National Assembly has the constitutional powers to set a minimum wage to be obeyed by all governmental and non-governmental organizations in Nigeria.
I only hope they will walk the talk and not bow to pressure from state governors and organized private sector

PoliticsRe: Soldier’s Killing : We Arrested Over 100 Suspects, Released Those Not Connected by REALretep(m): 7:55am On Jun 14, 2024
Just Imagine
Arrested over 100, Tortured them, Abused them.
Released some, Detained some
There's no talk of charging anyone to court.

The army has become the judge in their own case... deciding who will be arrested, released, detained and even killed.
The Human Rights Violations conducted by our security agencies are among the worst in the world

PoliticsRe: Akpabio Identifies Errors In New National Anthem by REALretep(m): 9:18am On Jun 12, 2024

PoliticsRe: Minimum Wage Negotiations Will Be Tough - Atedo Peterside by REALretep(m): 6:03am On Jun 04, 2024
slim75d:
My only problem with this minimum wage issue is that it only favours civil servants. Those of us in the private sector, and those who have no sector are suffering the hardship brought by the strike. Ones labour get what they want they'll move on.
Not at all.
The private sector suffers currently because the purchasing power of civil servants is nothing to write home about. When the purchasing power of civil servants improve following a significant increase in minimum wage, then there will be more patronage of the private sector and even those without sector will also benefit from the largesse of friends and well wishers in the public and private sectors

West Africa will soon become a warzone
US definitely will not sit by and watch Iran have access to Nigerien uranium
They will likely arm insurrectionists to destabilize the nation and ensure continuous control of the natural resources which will be definitely resisted by Russian forces, thereby leading to prolonged altercation in the region

CrimeRe: DSS Arrests Defendants In A Court In Ogun Despite Judge’s Warning by REALretep(m): 4:27pm On May 14, 2024
Law enforcement officers making arrests while on plain clothes should be made punishable by law. DSS and the likes should put on identifiable vests when making arrests.
People should be able to identify them.
