Thanks alot That information is gotten via HMRC They flag it up when information is requested by HO HMRC has access to your employment and tax details and can deduce the hours worked Cheers
|
Greetings to everyone on this forum, I would like to know how the home office assesses work hours for international students. Is it checked weekly? (payslip after payslip) or is it scrutinised by the total amount earned by the student during the tax year? |
dduchess90:I picked NO and it allowed me to continue. |
Good morning guys, got stuck here while I was trying to pay IHS for my dependant.
|
Congratulations to you and your family, did she apply after you started your program in the UK? if yes, how many months do you have left on your study VISA when she applied? yomifola: |
Okay thanks alot dduchess90: |
She is my dependant. And I am back in the UK to finish my programme. We got married and she did the change of her surname to mine. What I would like to know now is if it makes sense if the name on her bank statement(my surname) is different from the name on her passport (her former surname). She has the change of name evidence and the marriage certificate to back it up. dduchess90: |
Good morning good people of this forum. My partner and I recently got married, she has done her change of name. Is it advisable for her to change the name on her bank account before she starts her POF? the name on her passport is her maiden name though. |
Thank you very much duchess90: |
There is absolutely no need for any falsification. Someone said only ikoyi marriage registry's certificate is valid for visa application. She said ikeja registry's certificate should not be used. I just want to know if she is right or wrong. Thanks Hello UKVI can verify any document you submit. Recognizing is different from verifying. So if you use falsified documents, they will know and that can attract 10years ban when caught Cheers
|
Good people, please i want to know if UKVI recognizes ikeja marriage registry's certificate. |
Ok thanks Hello Yes just her own maintenance But the ECO may ask for yours too to confirm that the funds are not recycled Cheers
|
Thanks Duchess. I used my account during my application. So far i have paid 11k out of my 14k tuition. What i need to know right now is that if my dependant is applying, does she only need to have her maintenance funds for 9 months? I just need to be clear on this to avoid any glitches. Hello That should already be in your account if that was what you used during your application Cheers
|
Hello, good morning. I still have 3000 pounds of my tuition to pay. Do we have to include this tuition balance in the POF if my dependant is applying? The POF will be in her own account. duchess90: |
Realshima88:Im waiting for a response on this guys |
Good morning Duchess and the other gurus in the house, i read on this thread a couple of days ago that its only ideal for your dependant to join you in the UK at least 6 months before the end of your program. I will be applying for my dependant in sepetember but my program ends in January and my study VISA expires in May 2024. What are the chances of the application?. I really would like to know. |

The latter was my belief though. Help is needed here o. Please Duchess i need some enlightenment on this |

We dont have a joint account together or investment certificates. We also didnt take pictures together before i travelled because we never lived in same city. |

Loko40:Very good question actually, can anyone shed more light on this please? |
mimilyrics:Thank you for the response. Talking about money transfers (upkeep). Is it a must for the transfers to be from the bank account you will be presenting for proof of funds?. Also, i would like to know if its not too late to start the upkeep transfers now if you will be applying in september/october |

mimilyrics:Good morning, can you please explain the ideal way to go about the marriage thing and VISA application? It's a genuine relationship but the couple have no pictures together or joint bank accounts, just whatsapp chats and calls. I would also like to know how soon they can apply after they get married. The boyfriend has to come from the UK to get this done so they will be needing good information so that it wont be a waste of time and money. The MSC programme ends in JAN 2024 and VISA expires MAY 2024. |

Thanks for the response dduchess90, they intend to apply for her immediately after the court wedding/reception, they plan to obtain some wedding pictures which may come in handy in the application process. Also duchess may i ask what the financial cost could be like for her application. dduchess90: |
Contact your account officer. Chances are that it may have been paid and you only need to ask them for your telex. Some banks too don't confirm on the form A site which is confusing. The funds is still sitting in the account |
padie77:Stanbic. I created the for A on the 11th of september. |
