So the “storm” is in fact related to the economy and the financial world. “Coming down with the Dow Jones” reflects this situation. The Dow Jones is the main indicator of the health of the stock market. If it plummets, we can talk about a market crash. This reference is pretty eerie as it effectively predicts the crash of the stock markets that is taking place now, which is two years after the release of the song. The fact that this song was made in 2006, two full years before even having signs of recession is strange. You’ll notice that the whole song has a pessimistic outlook concerning the future.  Jay-Z is saying “Let it rain”, he doesn’t care about the financial crisis,  he “hydroplanes in the bank”.  In other words, while the bank is being flooded by this storm and people are drowning in it, he’s above the water and  surviving the crisis.

How come i havent come across it be before? It goes quite well with what i belive and practice. Anyway my 2 cents!

I love to batter and bruise women both physically and mentally and it makes my day come true when i see a chick crying, sulking or in a deep state of melancholy because of what i have done to her. And the most beautiful part is they always hope i apologize for my acts but i end up doing another one on them. The wait for them for me to apologize is what makes them still stay after they still move around with black eyes or have been messed up mentally when i say things to them to demoralize them and that wait makes me take more advantage of them and when i feel like dumping them i now apologize profusely to them and knowing how dumb and daft women are, they end up doing small shakara when you beg them but meanwhile all i am thinking of is f**ucking them mercilessly for the last time which they would succumb to because they believe after i have begged them, things are now back to normal and when i am through f**cking them i change color and initiate the process of dumping them so that i dont give them the opportunity to plan their own dumping strategy first.

You expect me to be remorseful because i love beating women and i would encourage other men to beat women to a pulp and if possible smash broken glasses into their faces to disfigure them. Now i see fear in them more than love and respect more than humility in their eyes. Thats the way to treat them and stomping a boot down their faces every now and then reminds women who really the man is and what their place on earth really is which is really being second class citizens.
