BlueRayDick:I don't understand you. You mean, he wants to rig election yet, don't want to be checked for it? I thought he is the Governor and has performed well. Leave it to the electorates to decide. He contested his second term with APC government at the center, yet won . Why now? I hope this excuse would be made if the opposition Governors follow suit!!! |
Amigoss:Why do you think their activities are banned within this election period? Methinks they can be used by the governor to destabilize and cause mayhem during this election. |
BlueRayDick:What's he afraid of? Maybe it's because his thugs essn has been dismantled and has been kept in checked with powers to be! I read the minister of thugs in Abuja has his boys sent to Edo too. If PDP losses Edo state, it's due to internal problem and lack of management from within. |

.............. CALL FOR REFLECTION ON THE JOURNEY ALREADY CONQUERED. Today marks a significant milestone in our journey of consolidation as the apex court has laid to rest the lingering legal tussle challenging the credibility of Kogi State Gubernatorial Election. As a good students of Yahaya Bello's political school of thought, we must first appreciate his thoughtfulness in initiating the choice of Ododo as the flag bearer of our great party. This wise decision had not only gave a victory at the poll, but has also reengineered our hope for a more promising and prosperous Kogi State. We congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo on his successes at all the trio stages of the legal battle. It's now evident that the stewardship of the state will be under your tutelage for the next 4years. This Judgment has further rekindle our hope in the Nigeria judicial system. We thank the learned justices for the display of expertise, and for being just and fair in their verdict, affirming the overwhelming support, trust and vote we enjoyed from Kogites in the gubernatorial election. Kogites have eschewed frivolous attempt to lure the state to political sectionalism due the the uncultured modules of the opposition gladiators, overheating the polity and indulging in defamatory campaigns. We thank them for seeing it differently by voting for our great party and the continuity of the new direction dynasty. We implore you Your Excellency to be more prudent, intentional, and intensifying more efforts in shaping Kogi State to confluence of opportunities, growth and development. Let our diversity be the weapon that drives our quest for prosperity and progress. The journey was tough amidst daunting challenges that accompanied our heterogeneity.
