Governor of Niger state, Aliyu Babangida says that one has to tell lies to survive in the political scene of today, adding that there is no morality in politics. He says if anyone wants to pursue morality, they should go and become Imams or Pastors. The Governor stated this while inaugurating the PDP guber campaign committee in Minna the state capital yesterday January 5th. "If you cannot lie, get out of politics. Anything you are involved in has its own rule. You are in politics to win, win first and let other things follow. Don’t be the one crying louder; lest you will be the one they will take to court. If you are talking of honesty or morals, go and become an Imam or pastor. Politics cannot be the way it used to be. "The challenges are more now, the variables have changed, the issues that we are going to face in 2015 are different from the ones we faced in 1999 and we must bear this in mind. Our society is not as grateful as it used to be, the values and morals have gone down. If you want to win, use the modern morality. We have worked for the people. Politics is not about sadaka (giving alms), politics reminds people of what you have done. Go out and remind the people of what we have done.” he said |

Popular Lagos pastor and Convener of the Save Nigeria Group, Pastor Tunde Bakare says one of the ways to end the spate of attacks by terror group, Boko Haram in Nigeria, is for the Federal Govt of Nigeria to apologize to the sect members for killing their leader, Mohammed Yusuf in 2009. According to Vanguard, he gave the advise during the state of the nation address at a church service in Lagos. “The summary execution of the Boko Haram’s former leader, Mohammed Yusuf in 2009 provided the soil of martyrdom for the nurture and growth of the sect. Government must declare peace first of all; apologizing for the murder of Mohammed Yusuf to the sect members. not their sympathizers or bandits.” he said. http://platform9ja..nl/2014/07/pastor-tunde-bakare-says-fg-should.html?m=1 |
Dr. Peregrino Brimah We have received reports that the clearly homoséxual cross-dresser “suspect” arrested at the site of the bomb explosion on Maj. General Buhari’s life at Kawo market in Kaduna, has said that Asari Dokubo, the Niger Delta terrorizing leader paid N1 million each to five members of the assassination squad to kill the General. A clearly homoséxual man dressed as a woman was arrested shortly after the attempt on Buhari’s life in the vicinity of the explosion; and was linked to the assassination attempt, according to the DSS. A suicide bomber driving a Toyota Sienna chased and rammed into the General’s car and set off an explosion that injured three aides and killed over 80 at the market close by. However the reality of the story as is most obvious is that the homosexual cross-dresser suspect arrested likely had no connection to the Buhari bombing. Remember the suicide bomber chased the Buhari convoy for a considerable distance before getting close enough to detonate his bombs at the market. It is improbable and frankly impossible for the suicide bomber to have remained unscathed (1), been a cross-dresser homosexual (2) at the same time and been caught by the hopeless Nigerian security services at the scene of the crime (3). That is three impossibilities of equal weight… The suicide bomber was definitely blown to bits when the car exploded killing dozens in the vicinity; was not gay and was not successfully caught by our barely existent security men. The Nigerian security men simply picked up a cross-dresser queer individual and claimed this was the suspect and later that he was even the master-mind, to pretend some efficiency and wash-away the case. After beating the gajeezeez out of the cross-dresser, he is singing the songs that come to his mind — that ‘Asari Dokubo sponsored five of them with 1 million naira a piece them to kill ex-head of state, General Buhari.’ With the ‘rubbish’ being advertised in this investigation, the APC has described the handling of terror and insurgency in Nigeria as clearly beyond the capacity of the Jonathan government and called on an urgent international investigation of the assassination attempt. Quoting their statement: “Could the person who drove the vehicle that was rammed into the General’s convoy have survived the explosion that was triggered by that action? Could the innocent passers-by who died in the blast not have been arrested and paraded as the ‘suspected masterminds’ if they had survived the blast? Clearly, the arrest of the pervert and his sickening description as a ‘suspected mastermind’ have kick-started the process of muddling the waters, as is usually the case with such high-profile cases. “This is why an urgent international inquiry into the attack is desirable and imperative, and anyone who is committed to an impartial probe of the attack on the opposition leader should embrace our call.” Media commentators were a bit pleasantly surprised that the usually doubting Asari Dokubo immediately tweeted that he believed the assassination; and explained that he saw it as a plan by elements to cause chaos in Nigeria to enable a military take-over. Assuming he is not the prime suspect spilling the beans, this is evidently some progress in people’s attitudes in Nigeria. Nigeria is in perilous times. Dr. Peregrino Brimah |
By Dr. Peregrino Brimah Nothing is more dangerous than when a good man goes rogue. Most of the worst criminals in history were good men in society who either voluntarily or by virtue of circumstance, went rogue. We all know the award winning, chairman of the editorial board of the Nigerian Guardian, Dr Reuben Abati, our guy, a staunch truth shooter and government critic bar none. But when Reuben was sucked into the Jonathan Government, Lord have mercy! One can only imagine what Reuben is up to today: conspiring, orchestrating, plotting and conniving. There is nowhere where you will not find Reuben or pick his dangerous scent. Reuben works between party lines, he sneaks up on activists, media editors; selling his paymasters’ wares in the last places you expect. If you are an activist or politician, you will know precisely what I am talking about. If the unbelievable story can be written, Reuben wrote it; if the unimaginable can be invented and spun, Reuben spun it. If it can be blown-up, Reuben is blowing it… To get a clearer picture of the danger of this man, one simply has to think back and review the post election events of Nigeria, 2011. We all have it somewhere in our minds that former Head of state, Gen Muhammadu Buhari threatened something about making Nigeria ungovernable after he lost in 2011… and some other stuff like that? If we do, Reuben spun that. This libel was pretty much entirely cooked up by Reuben Abati to discredit the person of Gen. Buhari who was legitimately contesting the election process in 2011. This was the copyright invention of Reuben in that evil memo he spun one dark midnight in April of 2011, the Reuben memo: ‘For the attention of General Buhari.’ The evidence of this is the reality that Buhari took Reuben Abati and the Guardian he used to edit to court and Reuben begged and settled out of court. Reuben and his Guardian quietly published a retraction of the slanderous and libelous charges against the person of Buhari, as quoted below in the Guardian of July, 2013.; but few read it and the damage was already done. Buhari would remain tainted till the day he dies, thanks to a very sinister, evil genius Reuben. GUARDIAN Re: For the attention of General Buhari Thursday, 11 July 2013 00:00 Editor SIR: “On April 22, 2011, The Guardian Newspaper published an article on page 51 titled “For the attention of General Buhari” wherein certain allegations were made against General Muhammadu Buhari’s alleged role in the violence emanating from the elections. The publication was based on information which we believed to be reliable at that time. Since the publication, however, we now have reason to believe that certain parts of the story were not verified to be correct before the publication. We assure General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) GCFR of our highest esteem and regret any distress or embarrassment which the said publication may have caused him.” In our March 15th article, ‘Now that Nigeria is ungovernable, what next?’ we examined all available public evidence of statements credited with the ‘ungovernable’ threat. See: http://ends.ng/?p=679 . There is no link. Buhari only warned of consequences for similar rigging and malpractice as occurred in 2011 if it was repeated in 2015. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, unlike bad news and slander, this apology hardly spread past the 20,000 copies it was printed on and was hardly read or re-visited more than 24 hours after it was published. Reuben Abati had done his worst and a perhaps too gentle soldier, Buhari made little noise to repair his image after the out-of court settlement. Talk about plain evil that continues to pollute; sin upon sin for the slanderer. Even a recent conservative ‘Tory tradition,’ Anglican group, the Bow Group, recently sponsored a report making reference to these imaginary inventions of Reuben. To no surprise, the report by a certain Zenn failed to reference the spurious allegations – because there simply is none. To attribute animal to Reuben’s ethos, the serpent is his perfect fit. At this time in Nigeria’s history, as bombs and snipers start to target public cleric critics of this administration and opposition politicians, and millions out of stolen billions ($ ) are used to create chaos in every state and between families, one must keep an eye on the evil genius and the chartered opinion machines, #SomeoneTellLEVICK anyone, who are spending our nation’s billions in expensive media propaganda, like the forward Positive Nigeria social media campaign and other powerfully sponsored campaigns popping up all of a sudden. These people are dangerous, to say the least! Be alert and shine your eye. Dr. Peregrino Brimah |
Ekiti state Governor-elect, Ayo Fayose has urged the Lagos state Governor, Babatunde Fashola to shut up and stop complainig about the recently concluded Ekiti Governorship elections. According to Punch, duuring an interview session, when asked to respond to Fashola’s comment that Governor Fayemi accepted defeat because he did not want bloodshed in Ekiti?, Fayose said, "I really don’t want to join issues with them, particularly, Governor Fashola because I like him so much. I like his person and I have a lot of respect for him. But Governor Fashola is talking from two sides of his mouth. They say Fayose is not educated, according to them, but he is educated. He is learned but Fashola is not a product of internal democracy. Governor Fashola is a product of imposition, of god-fatherism. I remember when Fashola and Asiwaju Tinubu had issues, there were trumped- up charges against him through the House of Assembly. I remember vividly that he had to go to the court to clip their wings, otherwise they would have messed him up. And even at that, they still kept a tab on him. How would you be a governor, not elected in a transparent primary, but selected by one leader and you would still be surprised if an election was won through due process? Fashola knows that when he accused Asiwaju of not allowing due process or internal process in the party, Bola Tinubu told him, ‘Have you forgotten that if I followed due process, you would not be governor?’ So he cannot appreciate due process politically. When they were nominating commissioners, he didn’t have one commissioner. He cannot equally say this is my deputy. You know I chose my deputy myself, against all the odds. They gave him a deputy governor, probably, the only person I think he owns now is his wife. I am sure Fashola has forgotten that he is a lawyer and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, and that the constitution of Nigeria says a man is adjudged innocent until otherwise proved by a court of competent jurisdiction. I don’t want to say anything negative about him. I would have asked a special adviser or somebody working under me to reply him, but because he is a governor, I have to reply him myself. Let me remind him very quickly, I was governor before him. He was an ordinary chief of staff at that time. I am his senior politically. If at all he knows anything about politics, I am his senior. We know the intrigues more than him. It is true he is sitting on a prime state like Lagos under the watch of his godfather, but he should not run his mouth. It is unfortunate that a man at his level is talking like that. I am an institution like his godfather in Ekiti. When I started, I didn’t have a godfather. I didn’t have anybody like the Saraki of Ilorin who put Bukola Saraki there. They should learn to allow democracy to run. I want to tell them, if care is not taken, they would lose Lagos. The tide, the movement is against them. One thing with the APC is that they would lure you to defect, the moment you defect, they would go and put you on the reserve bench. That is why they don’t have support continuously. When you work for them, as soon as you are used, they dump you. You can imagine a governor who is supposed to pay salaries and he refused to pay for two, three months, and election is coming, he is now rushing, borrowing money. The civil servants are now telling him, thank God for Ekiti election, if not for Ekiti election, this man would not pay us. Who is fooling who? Look at the heavy tax burden in Lagos, in all their states. The Tsunami is going to consume them and I am telling you the truth, it is not personal. I am not boasting, I am an institution in Ekiti. What is the business of Fashola in Ekiti? The problem is that they have all put their resources in Ekiti election and they lost. The bookmakers failed Source: platform9ja.com |

[quote author=Bliss4Lyfe]Wat a stu.pid country. 3rd and 4th person granted bail, say waitin happen. Just becos dey were not at the scene of the gruesome murder don't mean they are not guilty of the crime. In English law they are secondary participant to the crime committed and incohate offence refers to them as party to the conspiracy to rape and murder. Those men should be rearrested immediately. They are not innocent. In fact all four deserve to be buried alive next to the lady dey murdered some months back.
