I'm hoping that someone will remind me of the name of the hausa song, the name of the artist that sang One Early Morning and the name of that Charlie Boy song.

The hausa song was performed at almost every state occasion in the 1970s and '80s, along with Nike Nike, Iya Ni Wura and Omo Pupa. Almost everybody I ask can remember the tune, but nobody remembers the name of the song or the lyrics.


I had the little 331/3 disc of One Early Morning. It's a James Brown kind of funk song. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the person that sang it.

Charlie Boy released a song in the early 1980s. I later discovered that it's a cover of an older song. I call it Onyiora because I can't remember the actual name of the song, but the chorus, when translated into english, goes something like, "Mad man, he's a madman. Catch him, he's a madman".

Let me just help you. There are some things such as murder, for which you can be defined by a single act, given the discrete, irrevocable nature of the act or event. That is, a thief is one who is, in the current period of time, engaged in stealing. A person may have been a thief but that does not make him one forever, especially if the law as run its course. Similarly, a lesbian may not always remain a lesbian.

If you like, don't learn. Legally accepted definitions indeed. smh.

Many of these shop attendants can be very annoying too sha. I was in a store one day and I pointed at a particular stuff that the attendant should bring for me so I can check. The response I got was "sorry that one is very expensive" . Out of annoyance, I was like did I ever ask of the cost or whether its expensive or not. I left the store in annoyance but had a rethink. I came back, overpaid him and told him to keep the change.
Funny how people just downgrade you and judge you from first look.

Next time dont overpay him. Pay him for the stuff look for a random passerbygive them the extra change or another shopper and pay for their items. Overpaying a rude attendant is like paying them for dow grading you.. you lost extra cash to someone who did not deserve it. He would be the happier person at the end of the day
