Goke7: what property una get, were your properties not returned to you after the civil war? thank God you have finally admitted you cried to the UN.
and who want to own a property in the shithole yeast where London and US dey, abeg talk another story, owning properties in a landlocked forsaken SE is the most insane thing to do in a modern Nigeria. Which one do you own in Abuja, PH, Kaduna, Jos, Markudi, Warri, Benin and other places. So only can buy in Lodnon and US? I accept the truth. I don't do propaganda like you. So now you have accepted that you lied that Igbos went begging. I can assure you that Igbos are ready to even lose all those if referendum can be agreed, so they can vote. They just don't want your people who are always aggressive to loot their property if the separation comes with force. See what is happening in Lagos. |

Goke7: you want to twist facts?, were we not all in this country, when you guys were shouting biafra that you were told to leave, you started crying to UN and the international community upadan [like you normally do like spoilt brats] it was after you guys cried, everyone started calming you guys down. You folks just find it difficult to admit your weakness, its your nature. You are never wrong but others according to you. Pictures don't lie Ogbeni. Twisting facts with clear pictures? Your decades if lying will come to an end some day. The only reason they were talking about UN and international community is to ensure you don't steal their properties as was done in Port-harcourt. Poor people always look for a way to loot from the rich. How many properties do you own outside your region. Zilch. Stop ridiculing yourself. What more can be done to the Igbos that was not done in 1966-1970? |

Iamgrey5: You see one cannot lie that Lagos strategic location gives it a competitive advantage over other states i.e. the sea side to the west that makes cargo coming from Europe and America easily dock its ports.
Nonetheless, one cannot deny the hard work Yorubas have had to put in over the years to make lagos to function to our advantage. Even before the advent of a Nigerian state, the Europeans have preferred Lagos to other towns in Nigeria. Yorubas started coming to Lagos between 1931 to 1950....than other people see pic. Everybody contributed to the development of Lagos.

Its now clear why you align with the igbos, na the same hypocrisy dey worry una, threatening to leave when in truth they are not ready to go anywhere You people just love to lie all over the country with no shame at all. Who was crying all over the places? It is the other way round ogbeni. See this pictures and you can tell who was begging. I hope it will end your lying and deceit. gomojam: See your logic! So because Zik was not there in 1914 he doesn't have to support measures to unmerge it in 1954 when the opportunity was shown to him.
Was Lugard a Nigerian? He only worked for the interest of his country, Britain, which Nigeria happened to be one of its feeding bottles then.
But your Zik, a direct victim of the contraption, wanted to fit in the shoes of the British colonialists only to be outsmarted by the people you lots like to tout as illiterates. Shior!
Why do you want to unmerge it now then. Stop blaming Zik. See what Zik said in the pic. It is good to unmerge it now because as Zik thought earlier....he felt Nigeria could be big country where the best candidate gets the job to move everyone up like you have in the Super Eagles team. But what do we have today? Nepotism, religious fanaticism, ethnic hegemony, quota system, plain and brazen marginalization. If Zik thought Nigeria would be as it is today, I believe he wont think twice in accepting the secession clause.

gomojam: Tell this to Nnamdi Azikiwe, the notorious unity begger and greedy narcissist, who frustrated and dashed Awolowos effort to have the secession clause be inserted in the Constitution in 1954. He claimed igbos are the choosing tribe and its a matter of time before they dominate and lead Africa. This was why he left his enclave in Onitsha seeking to lord it over the much civilized and intelligent Yorubas who had had much experience of political intrigues, war statagem, exposure etc from the oldest Ife era through to the era of the great Oyo empire.
Tell that to Agunyi Ironsi and Ojukwu who truncated the struggle of Adaka Boro and his group , Niger Delta volunteer force, when they declared Niger Delta republic. Igbos brought them back into the shackles called Nigeria when they are dominating only to then declared Biafra when they were beaten at their game by the Hausa/fulanis.
Tell that to your politicians who don't want Biafra or why was Ike ikweremadu battered in Germany?
After you achieve concensus with them then come back we can then consider your rants. Cheap talk! What will you tell Federick Lugard that merged different people? Did Nigeria start in 60's Was Zik there in 1914? Ogbeni find another lie to tell as usual. So because you can't see Zik, you will continue cheating other regions, even the ones that are feeding you? |

Don't forget, Itsekiris who are under the umbrella of Afenifere.
Yorubas will enjoy it until the last drop then decide to move on to enjoy their own.....
There is tangible federal development in the SW. So what are the Niger Deltans (Ibibibio, Uhrobo, Ijaw, Kalabari ect) gaining from you? Is this not the parasitism, greed and selfishness that people are talking about. It's all about yourselves. At least the people from ND are listening. forgiveness: First of all, Ibadan is more cosmopolitan than both Jos and Kaduna.
Secondly, part of SW formed part of Abuja.
Thirdly, it was wrong in the first place for British to allocate lands to Yorubas in Jos. No Yoruba man will support and fight for land grabbing which tantamounts to injustice. Kudos to the Yorubas for given up the land.
Fourthly, every human being with his own philosophy. Yorubas philosophy is to achieve their goals and they have many ways to do that. Yorubas singlehandedly sponsored and used NADECO to fight against Abacha. Yorubas singlehandedly forced the whole country to present Yorubas as candidate in 1999. Yorubas were significant in ending the Civil war. Yorubas used press to kick PDP out of power. There's a saying that goes like this.... there are many ways to catch fish.
Hause Fulani knows the group to fear most. If you think Yorubas are cowards, good luck to you. Despite this chest beating you cannot stand by yourself...or do you like Nigeria as its being operated? You fought Abacha, Babagida, NIgeria civil war, PDP (putting Nigeria in this current mess...) When will you fight to be on your own? Yorubas will prosper more if you were on your own...don't you think? You have not done this for two reasons....1. Fear of the north, to finish what they started from Kwara angle, and 2. Due to your gains on federal development, from the oil from the eastern region. |

The Gates Foundation also announced an additional $150 million grant funding for the rapid procurement of essential medical supplies and help life sciences companies secure financing to produce COVID-19 products. “We have worked extensively in the North because it is the poorest part of Nigeria. It does have sort of the weakest overall health infrastructure and facilities and that is also why the region has the highest child and maternal mortality rate. Diiet: I've also been tempted to reply the tribelss Nowenuse but I refrained myself from doing it because I discovered he's emty vesel. The more I read his comments the more I can't stop laughing at his stupidity, he's the real defination of all talk no action. From pulling figures without source to support his claims to claiming to be what he's not. He claimed to have met with the leader of the deadliest militia group in plateau and yet another killing of his people took place yesterday, and more will take place before the end of this month unless it doesn't make it to the media, and from what I've deduced so far from his posts, he's a very frustrated person who eronneusly thinks Yoruba is the major problem of his life. Imagine inconsequential person from inconsequential tribe hating on Yoruba people that don't even know about his existence and his backward tribe whose people major in subsistence agriculture for survival. I'm very happy with COVIDODO, LENGENDHERO and other great omoluabis who have taken their time to answer him according to his folly. I know next time he sees a thread about Yoruba or SW he'll just waka pass because of the beaten he has received in this thread. Seeing posts from the North, East, West and Middle belt...one can confirm that Nigeria is not a country but a space inhabited by different bed fellows. This is supported by the comments of the major founders (See picture below)We will prosper more and respect each other more if we operate in a federation, so each region can progress at their own pace. However, we love to deceive ourselves that we are okay in one Nigeria when it is obvious to a foreigner that we don't love ourselves. How many people are patriotic enough with raising the Nigerian flag? Of all the comments by the founders of Nigeria, Tafawa Balewa comments seems the best of the situation we found ourselves. For those blaming Zik for rejecting secession clause....he has corrected himself with his quote.

How come no one from Enugu is bold enough to post a picture of gburugburu's road construction yet you all are quick to label Ganduje a thief when the real thief n criminal is Ugwuanyi ? Kano state budget mostly funded by federal allocation is above N230 billion on average the past 3 years, excluding LG funds, while Enugu budget is about N105 billion even if mostly funded by the FG, and excluding LG funds. So what are the basis of your comparison. Does that stop Ganduje from being a thief? These are some of the roads done in Enugu state...most in the outskirts...

Why do you think the likes of Isaac adaka boro took up arms against Aguiyi ironsi government? Nyamuriflathead: Yen yen yen. Your attempt to derail this beautiful thread is DOA. This is about infrastructural developments and deficit. Discuss it or get your zero digit IQ out of this thread Which infrastructure are you about? How much does Kano state receive from the FG? How many local government does Kano have and how much do they receive in allocation? We know that the state governors take money meant for LGs to use in their capitals. With this in mind, how much does Enugu collect? Also how much loan does Kano have and how much does Enugu have? Besides, the road you are using to compare is road that leads out of town.... You are using a fringe road to compare flyover in Kano city center? Very soon you will compare Lagos third mainland bridge with a bridge that leads to a village in another state. Nawahoooo! |

forgiveness: There are many issues with Aba. The infrastructures are in decay. Roads, drainage, healthcare, education, water etc infrastructures are all in decay.
Flooding is due to bad roads and drainage system.
The economy of the state is collapsing due to the cheap substandard Chinese shoes flooding the market. Worst hit is the local shoe industry who can't compete. Due to bad roads, buyers prefer to buy market in Onitsha instead of Aba.
However, if the government focuses on road, Aba can be the best place in the East to live. It's a planned town. We know Aba needs help but it's not all areas are affected like most people believe. Roads, drainage, healthcare, education, water, bla, bla....Even Lagos with almost a trillion naira budget has these issues in some places too. These images are from areas within Lagos city. Aba is more than 15km from Umuahia the state capital. So people who are shouting Aba should be properly guided. There are slum areas in most cities in Nigeria.
