DanArewaa, you have tried to defend your northern region, but you have along way to go to convince even the northern minorities.
Below is a pic, of a meeting where the Fulani herdsmen taking over ancestral lands of indigenes from minorities in the north after months of killing. Igbos have never, ever done this anywhere in the world. Please stop linking Igbos to violence as many people know the region that kill at the slightest opportunity.

Politics › Re: The Lies About Religious Crisis In Northern Nigeria by Redcrafton: 12:40pm On Apr 18, 2020 |
DanArrewa: Religious and tribal crisis in the north and why is the north badly stereotyped?
As the Igbos want you to believe, Northerners kill all southerners regardless of their tribe or religion and that Hausas don't see yorubas as true Muslims.
This content is going to be Rational and am going to be very objective.
Dear southerners... You see Igbos?? Anything coming out from them should thoroughly be investigated, their hatred for Islam and Northerners is making them do anything possible to paint the north black and also turn everybody against the north.
When we say north, we mean a region not a state or country!!
The Northern Nigeria is made of 15 core Muslims states.
In these 15 northern states we only have 3 states in which crisis do happen.
These 3 states include, Kaduna, Kano, and Jos For the past 15yrs now kano has been very peaceful... For the past 10yrs now Jos is peaceful! For the past 12yrs now Kaduna has been peaceful... This is due to education and exposure that is going on
But the enemies of the North will never stop telling you how the Hausafulanis want to Islamize Nigeria by killing Christians and raping their women...if the north is that unsafe and barbaric why are millions of your brothers still in the north??Even when the north decided to give you a quite notice to go back to your peaceful you region... Your fathers, governors, including Ohaneze were all begging... Millions of you are here in the north hustling along side our people... These same people will come online to tell you that northerners are murderers!
These same children of hate cant stop telling you about Kaduna crisis but will never tell you about Aba and onitsha Crisis Which they massacred innocent northern traders.
They're even lying that northerners do kill Yoruba Muslims and other southners... This is a pure lie!! Telling you that Hausas don't know the difference between Yorubas and Igbos is a lie!!in the north Yorubas are know as Bayarabe...the first person that teach me how to recite the Quran is a Yoruba Muslim he's the imam of our mosque here in kano, Telling you that Hausas don't see Yorubas as Muslims a big lie!!
No Doubt we have large numbers religious fanatics and bigots in the north but most of them are now old and the new generation of Hausafulani are changing the narratives! The new generation of Hausafulani don't pompous bigotry like that of some of our fathers!
Igbos Should do the same... Stop transmitting hatred and bigotry from generation to generation... Because the hatred will surely consume you in the future! Which is already gradually happening!
We have very peaceful northern states! States like Sokoto, kastina,Jigawa, Gombe, Kebbi, yobe and Nasarawa have no record of religious killings or tribal killings... If not for Bokoharam Borno is one of the most peaceful state in Nigeria.
But when there's religious or tribal killings in jos or Kaduna, you see them stereotyping and tagging the whole northern states.
Every state in the north have their own mentality and level of exposure. Kaduna crisis is mainly religious... The kano killing is against the people of Igbo origin no Yoruba man was killed!
Stop stereotyping the whole northern states because of political and religious instigated crisis in Kaduna!!
Igbos should stop looking for opportunities to paint the north back...
Tribal and religious killings do happen in every region... Including among the Igbo's... Aguleri and umuleri killings each others
Nkpor and obosi people killing each others because of land...alot of communal clashes is happening in the south!
Killing of northern treaders at headbridge, Okpoko, nkpor, and other part of onitsha and Aba do happen including looting their goods and properties!!
But the only thing we talk about is north!! The only people that you want everyone to see as killers are northerners!!
An average northner is a fan of Zaman lafia (peace)
If there's killings in the east... You'll call the killers miscreants and lazy people...
But if that same miscreants kill people in Kaduna... You will call them Islamist!!
Killing people is evil... Even Islam clearly stated that if you kill an innocent person is as if you've killed the whole world!!
I'm not here to defend Islam...I'm here to educate some southerners that don't know what's happening in the north...
Make your own reach independently and get your facts... We have the most peaceful states in Nigeria
Watch and see how Igbos will try derailing this thread! Liar..Nobody is derailing this thread.... Ohaneze didn't beg anybody when you asked the Igbos to leave. Instead your emirs said they would defend Igbos and their properties. The Igbos only referred to the UN and EU so you won't steal and destroy their properties as you always do, like when a cartoon was drawn in Denmark. How did that cartoon concern Igbos that you destroyed and looted their properties, "holyman"? Here is the pictures where youths in Kano wore Igbo attire to beg Igbos to stay. The other pictures is when Buhari sent some important northern governors to go to Abia state to beg the governor. I hope this will debunk the lies you guys have been peddling. Also remember that MEND asked the northerners to leave the south as well.

Or you mean the same Niger delta that couldn't generate what lagos is generating. Are you okay. What are you saying? It doesn't make sense. What is the difference between Nestoil and other business men like Dangote? They don't take loans or what? What do your state generate? You are a complete foreigner as we don't even share borders . If not for Nigeria, we would probably not have known each other .
Lagos has been a Yoruba city since the time immemorial and it would remain so till the end of time .
Your cries or lamentation on Nairaland would not change this fact .
At this rate , you'd just rupture an aneurysm . Nah so una covet Lagos reach Covet Ibadan and Abeokuta as I will not cover PH. As you from Abeokuta buys land in Lagos so shall I from Asaba/Enugu buy land in Lagos and I have already. |

Nowenuse: Hahaha, naso this our conversation don pain u reach sotay I don turn your archenemy? For me you are still a Zoogerian brother . And I can't call u my archenemy.
And yes, I will not support Igbos to tell lies as much as I have a soft spot for them
So Redcrafton, Yorubas actually have much properties & investments in the North & Middlebelt and even in places like Kaduna & to an extent Jos, Yorubas can match Igbos in properties. In Niger state & Kebbi states, Yorubas should outnumber Igbos in presence and properties although through Suleja (Abuja), Igbos could now be matching Yorubas in Niger state.
As for the SS. I lived much of my life in Delta/Edo. Yes, Yorubas have properties in both states, especially Edo state, but it cannot be compared to that of Kaduna/Jos.
However, Igbos in general have 10 or 20x more properties than Yorubas in the entire North & SS combined. That's the reason why some people think Igbos can never seccede. You might be right about Igbos secceding. The Igbos have more at stake in NigeriaMy unaided estimates, for want of verifiable statistics, show that in Lagos, Igbo investment is not less than N300 trillion; it is double of that in Abuja at about N600 trillion. In Kano and Kaduna, Igbo investments run up to N10 trillion respectively; while in Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa states, Igbo investment run into N5 trilion respectively. In Plateau State Igbo investment is hovering over N15 trillion! I can confidently add that there is no state in Nigerian where Igbo investments in business do not exceed N5 billion..... Read more at: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/07/the-igbos-have-more-at-stake-in-nigeria/Igbos-n45-trn-investments-northThe Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has cautioned the Igbo in South eastern Nigeria against maltreating northerners, warning that such could endanger the multi-billion Naira investment of the Igbo in the North. ACF said the ongoing controversy in the East on issuance of identity cards to persons of northern extraction was uncalled for and estimated that the Igbos’ investments in Kaduna, Kano, and Jos alone amounted to about N45 trillion. The Deputy Secretary-General of ACF, Abubakar Umar said this while addressing members of the South-South/South-East Arewa Coalition, who paid a courtesy call on ACF on Thursday. According to him, statistics available to them indicated that the Igbos’ investments in Kaduna, Kano, and Jos alone amounted to N45 trillion and with such huge investments in just three States of the north, the Easterners have no reason to maltreat northerners doing businesses in the East, stressing that, “If the table turns, it could be disastrous to their investments. https://www.nairaland.com/1820688/igbos-n45-trn-investments-north |

wowcatty: Portuguese arrived Lagos in 1472 and met Yoruba there.
Atlantic slave trade met Yoruba in Lagos in 1612
English fought Ijebu in Lagos from 1849 till they surrendered.
You had the option of staying in your region but chose to be a foreigner in another man's backyard and that's what you will remain until you can go and build your own Lagos in your region. There was no regions when the Portuguese came. Lagos was a protectorate of its own. The Aworis and the fishing tribe form Bini own Lagos. You come all the way from Osun claiming Lagos.
