Powerintoxicate: who told you Ghana and rwanda are both doing well. Have you lived in Ghana before? Sure you don't want to. When Sudan split what is happening to South Sudan? I have been in both countries and they have peace and constant electricity plus low crime rate. For get about Sudan. That's what you Yorubas who claim nobody is stopping people from leaving normally bring up as excuse. Why didn't you use other countries that left with no issues? |

forgiveness: 1911. That was after Lagos/western colony was merged with Protectorate of Southern Nigeria in 1901.
Before then, Zero people from SE, SS & North migrated to Lagos. Sorry.
If you don't agree, show me 1900 stats. There was no record of you migrating from your hitherland till about 1931 |

forgiveness: No single SE or Northern were in Lagos as at 1900 because they were yet to be annexed to the British. War was still going on.
Hence, Lagos was already a developed city before they arrived. Fact
Train, electricity, banks, tramway, payed roads, houses with Victoria and Brazilian architectures, street lights, carter bridge, etc infrastructures were already in Lagos before other regions of SE and North were conquered. And the value of Lagos port was about 1m pounds despite the fact that SS had Calabar port functioning. Fact
There will be no compensation given because Lagos was already made long before other regions came. Facts. No single SE or Northern were in Lagos as at 1900 because they were yet to be annexed to the British. War was still going on. See for yourself....

Goke7: we don't owe other regions anything dear, what investments has FG made in Lagos in the last 30 years since the capital was moved to Abuja? It is the FG that owe other regions whatever you think or has FG's income been going to the Lagos state Govt even when Lagos was the capital.
You lots have problems in separating the Lagos state govt that has been from the 60s like the way other states were created from the FG itself. You think FG's income goes straight into our pockets as Yorubas, your sense of entitlement has always blinded you guys from simple truths
Lagos can never be yours no matter how long you cry! You are joking aren't you.... This FG brigde in Lagos, is worth more than 1 trillion naira in today's value...so what has FG moving out of Lagos for the past 30 years got to do with it? Nobody is disputing Ikorodu, Epe and Badagry with the indigenes..

Powerintoxicate: how can this be irrelevant? You guys want your country. Go ahead and have no one stopping you at all. Just don't try to run away when it starts You know that's the best choice of anybody from the east...forget about the talk of the agitation being for the poor people. We want to be like Ghana, Rwanda or Mauritius who have smaller population but are doing well...especially have PEACE. When the flags were raised in the east...they didn't encroach on your land, but you guys are the most who are against it...even the northerners are gradually accepting the fact. So don't patronize people by saying nobody is stopping you at all. |

forgiveness: No, it was first developed by the Yorubas before British came to add to it.
Lagos was established before SE, SS and Northern ever came to Lagos. Other regions like the SS & SE were also closer to the sea through Calabar their Capital yet lagged behind in infrastructural development compared to Lagos. That's the bigger picture.
If Lagos is no longer part of Nigeria, it will develop faster than any other cities in Africa because it will become the capital of SW. Period. Why not Ibadan....? How can somewhere from SE and SS who helped to build Lagos will miss out and somewhere like you and Tinubu from Osun will claim Lagos simply because the military added Lagos to SW. So Abuja would be the capital of the Gwaris? Lagos was protectorate of its own before the northern and southern Nigeria were merged. It has absolutely nothing to with the Yorubas, from Osun, Ekiti, Ondo and Oyo. Even at that other regions would not mind if you take Lagos, but you have to compensate other regions with the investments from the FG. Other regions will also compensate you from the FG investments in their region as well. |

KingOdart: Your IT company employs more Yoruba than Igbo because Yoruba dominate IT in Nigeria and an IT company is different from a typical 2 by 2 shops that most Igbo usually opens in South West and I am sure there are also Yoruba companies and establishment that also employs Igbo.
I have spent some time in all the six states in South West and I know what I am saying, you can hardly see a Yoruba work in the 2 by 2 shops most Igbo usually opens in South West.
All we do is patronize your businesses but some stupid one among you comes online to spit trash that they are feeding their forefathers, when in reality we are the one feeding you by patronizing your businesses. If Igbos employ Yorubas in their firms, why are you most interested in 2X2 shops? Do Yorubas employ Igbos in their 0X0 vulcanizing shops? How many Yorubas patronize Igbo churches compare to Igbos in Redeem, Winners, Deeper Life, Mountain of Fire, etc, etc? Are the Igbos not feeding you and your churches from where you got the money to build the church schools and universities? |

And since the yorubas have better reputation and integrity and refuse to do such they call them lazy I don't know why I am always attracted to plain lies and brutal deceit like this... It is because I want to debunk lies....You know that all the crimes in Nigeria are invented by the Yorubas. Robbery, drug dealings, 419, juju, rituals, kidnapping called gbeomo, gbeomo, etc...why do you accuse others of what you do best? Igbos are learning work from the likes of Bayo in this pic.

Yoruba are the one patronizing all your businesses in South West and we are the one feeding you.
Without South West to troop to Igbo would have been extinct because your land is Barren. I know you are not happy but to say Igbos have 2X2 shops without employing Yorubas is HUGE lie. My IT company in VI employs more Yorubas than Igbos. Do you know how many Yorubas are employed by Computer Warehouse group?...80% of Nigerian banks use software sold and managed by CW... Igbo will first deny the industry and when the truth is too much the switch and say they own 10% percent of it then 20% till 40 or 45% that’s the magic number. Then they will ask u apart from Lagos and Ogun which we ignore own 45% of which other western states is develop. Then we say oyo and then we rinse and repeat. Shameless folks. NigerianSage: Where they live or where you live is irrelevant to your claim and my reply, the fact that Ogun State is the industrial capital of Nigeria means millions of people are directly and indirectly employed and out of poverty.
There are countless estates, well planned and beautiful neighborhoods in Ogun state so it was kind of ignorant to assume otherwise.
You can divert and distract all you want, the fact remains that Ogun state not only generates more IGR than all your SE states, but also has more industries than all your SE states combined many times over. pic1: Abeokuta with audio industries pic 2: Enugu potopoto republic with zero industries Can you compare. No this are the only states that have identified them. According to osibanjo read well below other states have begun developing their own social register and will be included soon.
