redPUSSY:
The Nothern region of Nigeria is bold enough to retain the presidency because they are capitalizing on the stand of majority of Igbos which is Zone Presidency to the east or it remains in the north.

Majority APC of Nothern extraction have listened to the voice of Igbo people concerning the presidency and there are a lot of indications that even despite having Nat chairman, they can still retain the presidency because they believe that a major ethnic group in Nigeria is backing their stand...

Trust Me nothing, I mean absolutely nothing will happen if they have the presidency, and National Chairman, infact they might even wish to have the Senate presidency at the same time and get away with it because the south is totally irredeemably cracked .. The only thing that could have checkmated their excesses is the unity of the south unfortunately the unity of the south is not happening anytime soon, hence they had to take advantage of it and rule Nigeria the way they want...

You can't beat them, you can only shout online and rest...

Who could have imagined that Top 3 citizens in Nigeria would come from the same region in the history of Nigeria ?( President, Senate President and the CJN) ..

And to some clowns that are chanting " Igbo votes are Inconsequential" because of least voters registration of SE, it's only a political illiterate that doesn't know the difference between Igbo votes and SE votes.. You are not wiser than your politicians that place or try to identify with the 3 major ethnic groups in Nigeria while campaigning.. There Is a reason for that.

People of SW should have known better that North was never their ally. They have used you and ready to dump you a pick a new bride.. SW should Stop issuing threats to north telling them they can't have Nat chairman and presidency at the same time , the more you issue threats the more they go back to sleep..

There's no how north will have presidency in 2023 except Tinubu schemed out from APC primary election...IF southeast with their political miscalculations vote against southwest we ss southwest will massively vote southwest and I believe southwest will do same thing. With little votes southwest will get in north that would be enough to emerge president.

Southern unity was going to happen with Jonathan but Tinubu’s greed, stupidity, inordinate ambition and foolishness threw a spanner in the wheel of what was going to be the best chance for the South to stand as one.

I’m happy he would be getting nothing out of it.

He still has the opportunity to amend his ways by believing in the stand of majority of southerners but greediness won't allow him.. Is alright

I can’t invest with first bank then go to GTb to claim my returns! It will amount to a colossal lost if apc should follow what he said! Apc is not popular in the east/south south so why would they intentionally shoot themselves on the leg?

Invested how ?

You mean there is no Igbo person in APC ?

Do you even know how APC was formed and people involved ?.. nPDP led by Amechi, ACN by Tinubu, ANPN by Onu and APGA by Rochas and CPC led by Buhari and the rest of others

Let's even assume there is no Igbos in APC, remember that Igbo votes are Inconsequential according to your fellow brothers..

Why can't you use this opportunity to prove that point once more that even if PDP and APC zone their tickets to SE that despite a huge support SE will give PDP that your APC will still defeat them because SE votes are Inconsequential ? grin cheesy

[/b]But when the south cannot handle it on the basis of equity, fairness and justice, then we should continue to suggest that we shouldn’t blackmail the north; we should deceive ourselves. This thing should be thrown open because if there is no zoning, then you have no right to continue to agitate that the north cannot contest.

Politics / 2023: Buhari Wanted A Southern Presidency But We Are Now Divided - Umahi by redPUSSY(f): 12:48pm On May 07, 2022
Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State says President Muhammadu Buhari’s body language supports candidate from the South for the 2023 presidency, but the region is divided.

The governor, who received the President in Ebonyi on Friday, disclosed this during an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today.

He said, “We cannot be honest by half. When zoning doesn’t exclude people from contesting, it’s been happening. There is no political face that is not zoning in this country. And the body language of the Mr President is well disposed toward the presidency shifting to the south.

“But when the south cannot handle it on the basis of equity, fairness and justice, then we should continue to suggest that we shouldn’t blackmail the north; we should deceive ourselves. This thing should be thrown open because if there is no zoning, then you have no right to continue to agitate that the north cannot contest.

“We cannot be used to drag presidency to the south and then we are shortchanged. So we should be part of such agitation if such fairness and equity cannot be ascribed to us. That is the position of most leaders in the South-East.

“I’m not asking that people from the South-West should not run; it is their constitutional right. But I want to say that we have worked together, the southern governors said presidency should rotate to the south, but on the basis of equity, fairness, and justice we had the South-East in mind, since the South-East never tested it.

“Now it has become clear that the platform upon which we collectively asked the north to concede the presidency to the south is no longer the same platform upon which the realities are based; then it’s fair and just that we should allow anybody in the country to run.”
