^^^ Madam, why you no wan do offline? The problem with the compression is that further compression can remove detail out of the document, making it not eye-friendly. Maybe you scan to pdf instead of scanning to jpeg first and then convert to pdf. @Jayfierce n bigfido, your helps are needed. 1 Like |

@brotundes, sponsorship for tourism may not be tenable to these people. They will believe that a person may go on tourism if he has his funds to spend and may also want to think someone being sponsored for tourism may not want to come back home. I stand to be corrected though. 1 Like |

NYSC / Re: The State Of Nasarawa State Corpers Lodge (Photos) by RedReact: 1:49pm On Sep 23, 2016 |
adioolayi: I can't say for now though, but as at 2010 - 2013, corp members were there. The building is not for NYSC or their corp members, but for the GSS school located close to that area; call it their hostel then. When corp members tried to appeal to Karu LG NYSC official, they were told that they should evacuate the building, and look for their accommodation, but wetin people wey no sabi anyone for a strange land go do? They all started contributing the little they could, for those who could stay there though, while those who couldn't had to look for their rented apartment. After some time, a local chief promised to help in renovating the place but wouldn't know whether he did it or not. Truth be told, there is no corpers lodge in Karu LG. 1 Like |

WestAfrican:Permit me to contribute a little. As FutureDon said, PhD is a very tough work on its own. Although, some programs may give allowance for work, but I doubt STEM programs will do. The first year is pure coursework, from where one would put all efforts to prove oneself. Having done that, move over to big work of the program itself, with papers waiting to be published, conferences to be attended, thesis to ve written, lab works to done, and if God wan catch person, make him supervisor be Chinese; believe me, the student will a abandon work idea totally. |
