I never read about that until now. I don't even know why they sacked Ogunbote, after what he did last season. Probably they will go and beg Ogunbote again, I don't know. If I were Ikhana too, I will quit the job. Almost all the 3SC players have been loaned out, due to no salary for the guys. I just hope 3SC management will get their house in good shape and not allow the club go into relegation. Every relegation we suffered has always been as a result of financial crisis.

See as I dey swim for relegation; all thanks to my state government not paying salaries for the boys.

I don't know why blacks are terrible in accepting defeat. Some weeks back, same Kano Pillars pummeled my team with 6-0 and their fans were happy, but now that it didnt go their way, they had to resort into violence. What a shame on Kano Pillar fans!

Same thing is happening with 3SC too; players are owed backlog of salaries and most of them are loaned out. Right now, I am just praying that we do not relegate, with the way we are playing.

I have immense respect and adoration for our league and players because in spite of the peanuts they earn as salaries these guys keep fighting... May all your hard work never go in vain.

My brother, we Nigerians are doing little to promote the local league. Many a times, I speak with people and their responses will be "our league is boring", "who is going to watch that match, when Aresnal dey?" and all other discouraging stuffs like that. For me o, I have ditched foreign league, no matter how aesthetic they may be, for our local league, no matter how boring the match is.

I guess your MSc is from UK. Then u can apply for Australia visa subclass 476. It allows recent engineering graduate from countries sign to the Washington accord to apply for a 18months temporary visa.

The visa allow u to work full-time or study if u want. But u must be less than 31 years and apply within two years after graduation.

In Oz, that one too is competitive but you , might get a Graduate Assistantship offer from your dept. You would have to relate well with your prospective prof before this can happen.

Surest bets are North American countries; preferably Canada. They have same PR pathway with Oz in Canny.

1. I disagree with RedReact. I would be very surprised if you got a PhD admission with your BSc degree. I am yet to meet someone here who got a PhD position straight outta BSc. Even Australians do Honours degree for a year before applying for PhD. According to my Uni's grad school, one may get an offer with an exceptionally good profile. For example, if the applicant has > two years solid research experience and some good research papers in some really high impact journals like Nature, Science, Cell, Brain etc. In sum, you should consider doing a MSc.

2. Yes, there are partial and full scholarships, albeit very competitive (I can not stress this enough).

3. Of course, there are postdocs positions (a.k.a jobs after PhD, the transition phase to Assistant professorship positions), but I think you should be more focused on how to get an offer.

4. Based on my experience, I would advise you consider USA. You will be able to apply directly for PhD programs over there, however you will need a decent GRE score, GPA, etc.

Same thing we are saying, concernomg No 1. It is possible iff the cgpa is in the first class range, and extremely high sef; if he has been writing research papers, even for his last two years. With his cgpa, I believe he can't get it but a research based , masters is very sure.

1. Yes, you can. Admission is dependent on strong cgpa.
2. Funding for research program is Oz is somewhat somehow, but not impossible. You can try North America though, as there are high chances of funding.
3. Well, you can do your thorough search about job prospects before you launch into it.
4. Any country can suffice into that suggestion. Just settle for what your heart desires, as you are the only.one that knows what you want.

Go for Masters or Bachelors of Nursing. I strongly advice you to avoid 572 application if you actually want to end up getting a Visa. Pretoria has declared "war" against 572 applications.

Thanks everyone that helped out when i asked my previous question, i have another question though, i am going for a Masters program that lasts only 1 and half years, pls does this qualify me for the post study visa?? and can i still use this as a route to get PR later when i am done?? because i read somewhere on this thread that one has to study for atleast two yrs to get Post study visa or PR, i am confused. House, before i spend all the millions i have managed to save up over the years on this, pls advice

Let it be 2 years; search around for schools that offer that duration for your program.
