You are failing to understand the revenue distribution in the EPL .... RM/Barca remain strong because they get the lion's share of La Liga money. If they did play in the EPL they may not have as much money to spend because of EPL's more distributed scheme of equally sharing EPL TV revenue among teams.

I am not sure what your point is? Barca and RM get the lion's share of La Liga's revenue relative to other teams and so they continue to dominate that league. It has become so boring for me to follow. Despite its high technical quality, there is no competitive excitement. You always see Barca/RM compete for position 1 and 2 year after year .... AM for spot 3. That is even the case today - same deal every year!

EPL teams are useless in the UCL I agree. However, the success of Juve, Bayern, RM and Barca dies not make those leagues "great". They are isolated teams that are very dominant. That is why there is only one winner in all those leagues most of the time. At least the EPL has a sense of parity with different teams winning and forming the top 4.

This is certainly the worst team performance I have seen as a Chelsea fan. This Man C team is really very good - max kudos to them. I hope they can go on and challenge Barca/Juve/RM for the UCL trophy but it would be nice if Liverpool does not mess up anymore and wins the EPL.
