kettykin:You reason like a dunce. I guess it was the 'American factor' that caused Apple, GM, and other US firms to make inroads abroad. It was the 'Chinese factor' that caused Chinese firms to conquer world markets. Self haters. The day you stop hating your background is the day Nigeria and Africa will really take off. |
techWriter3:Stop talking rubbish. I guess Solksjaer is not a ''true Oyinbo folk''. Slave mentality. |
drealcivilceno:You reason like a slave. |
SpecialAdviser:This is why Nigeria is special. Nigeria is the cultural capital of Africa. Her president must be seen always in African attire. |
Teslaa:Don't mind the yeye poster typing rubbish. The ONLY place we MIGHT need an interchange like that is in Lagos. And I say ''might'' because, I really can't think of anywhere even in Lagos, that such an interchange is required at this time. We have more pressing issues than building white elephant projects. Money should be spent on upgrading the road system of Lagos by tarring every single road and adding sidewalks, underground drainage and lighting to the side streets. |
unshakablejihad:Don't use that racist N word on me or I will insult your mother. Do you know the history of that disgusting word? |
unshakablejihad:Nobody is enjoying your thread that is based on ethnic hatred. How can good fruit come from a rotten tree? Impossible. |
esnbrutality:So why did Kanu refuse the Igbo states offer on the grounds that they must give him the Niger Delta as well? https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/07/rejected-biafra-5-igbo-states-nnamdi-kanu/ And no, the South East does not produce oil, unless you mean palm oil. Ondo state actually produces more oil than the entire south-east as does Lagos. If you contest this I will drop you the link. |
Rexwalters1:It's low IQ and lack of exposure that is his problem. People like him don't have a single friend from other parts of Nigeria. He likely grew up in his village or in some mono-ethnic city like Onitsha or Umuahia. |
Rexwalters1:Thank you. His thread would have been so much more interesting if he had featured the full repertoire of Nigerian inventors, but his hateful, small-minded, primitive mind cannot fathom anything beyond his village and his 'kinsmen'. Someone needs to chuck his butt back to the 13th century where he belongs.. |
unshakablejihad:Then APOLOGISE FOR LYING that your jailed dictator does not care about the Niger Delta oil, which he wants to steal, under the pretext of fighting for Igbo freedom. |
unshakablejihad:LYING SCUMBAG. Your leader refused the offer of the 5 Igbo states to form his 'Biafra' because they did not include the Niger Delta. Oil thieves masquerading as freedom fighters. Bunch of criminals. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/07/rejected-biafra-5-igbo-states-nnamdi-kanu/ . . . |
djevino:Yet your people are spread all over Nigeria in their millions more than any other ethnic group. Why don't you all get the hell out of Nigeria and go and live in your tiny landlocked DOT? You can't keep saying ''we are not one'', yet you find your stinking backside in OTHER peoples' territory. Why don't you get lost? And no, you cannot steal the Niger Delta. Try it, and we will fcking annihilate you. |
djevino:When drug busts are reported here, the offenders are always called NIGERIANS in the thread title. Nobody titles their thread ''Igbos caught smuggling drugs in India'' etc. So find another excuse for your tribalism and tribalistic headline. You're a disgrace. |
Tribalism will get you nowhere. Dunce. If you had basic common sense, your thread would list NIGERIAN inventors of all ethnicities. But you're a narrow-minded village dunce, and a primitive spear-chucker, so all you care about is your 'kinsmen'. |
ChangedMan1999:It is a capital issue, not a capacity issue. Nigerians can build cities, estates, rail tracks etc. Why Nigeria goes to China is because they have the CAPITAL to fund huge projects. If they insist that the deals include their people doing some of the work/labour etc, to provide employment for their people, we can't really say no to that. They are providing CAPITAL. And money talks. Nigeria's annual budget is just 35 billion dollars. China's is in the trillions. All this infrastructure we are building is aimed at economic expansion and diversification from oil, as that income is grossly insufficient for our needs as a nation. |
Bobmarie:How is he an illiterate? He is 100% correct. Nigeria is a developing country, like 80% of countries on Earth, and if you had a working brain you would learnt to appreciate the little developments or the universe will deny you the big ones. |
That writer is IGNORANT about the real value of rail for a country like Nigeria, and he sees it in terms of a business investment where we should be bothered about its cash 'ROI'. His mind has swiftly gone to ''Germany'' without thinking through the differences in the two economies - one saturated by rail infrastructure, the other largely bereft of it. Truth is that for a developing country like Nigeria, rail should be and is, right now, a socio-economic investment with a very long-term turnaround in terms of its benefits to the economy. Its primary purpose is to drastically reduce the cost of doing business by making transportation cheap, efficient, and affordable, which is the springboard for the economic takeoff of any region. In those calculations, the immediate return on investment on the actual rail system is completely irrelevant. Low fares means the business environment and employment will ultimately improve, as businesses find themselves cheaper to run, meaning higher profits and more capital for expansion etc etc. The United States became the economic superpower it is by investing massively in its railroads at the turn of the last century. They built lines that criss-crossed the entire country. The rides were cheap, and the rail system massively brought down the cost of transporting people and goods across the nation, leading to great economic prosperity. That is precisely what Nigeria is doing with its national rail masterplan, and that writer needs to take the time to study and learn the objectives of the masterplan before shouting. |
Osinbajo is a civilized man who can bring people together, just by his sheer approachability and eloquence. He could be Nigeria's Obama. I don't see him as a leader that will tolerate abuses by security agencies etc at all. He's the kind of leader who wants to carry everyone along in whatever he's doing. |
AntiBMC:When you are given bad news, do you ask for picture proof? Negative mind reset required. |
Nice direction by El Rufai. But they need to remove those slabs that anyone can pull out, and build proper sidewalks. Spend the money and build proper sidewalks with underground drainage. If Rwanda can do it, why can't you? |
dasparrow:But he asked a legit question. How many Igbos have been kidnapped or killed by Fulanis to the extent of Igbos loudly demanding secession since Buhari was elected? |
happy200:This is your wretched colonial miseducation talking, and it is so disgusting to behold. You clearly have read NO African history at all, and are really a disgrace to whoever gave birth to you. I advise you to pick up a few history books on Amazon.com, or simply Google African history topics, because in this day and age of free internet, and freely available information, it is an absolute shocking disgrace that a person could type what you just did. |
SlayerForever:Yeah sure.......Anambra people who held a free and fair Nigerian election - something which your IPOB dictators could never permit in a - 'Biafra', are all ''unIty beggars''. Go and sleep abeg. |
pacespot:The world, not just Britain, is fascinated by, and interested in the Giant of Africa. Africa's largest economy, and its largest middle class. Nigeria is projected to become the 3rd most populous nation on Earth after India and China by 2050. That means one thing: A business and investment magnet of world class proportions. Every major company on Earth will have major investments in Nigeria in the years ahead. The future is bright for Nigeria. If only Nigerians could see it. Most are blinded and discouraged by current ....birthpangs.... of greatness. |
DoggoneDogg:First of all, you are an ignorant dunce who has no business on this thread. That you think the Moors were 'Arabs' despite the MULTIPLICITY of evidence presented here, including actual statues, monuments, and family crests showing BLACK people, shows you are a conditioned and brainless imbec.il.e and pea brain steeped in racial self hate. To call Nigerians and West Africans ''too stupid to offend whites'' shows your tragic slave mind and wretched inferiority complex. I have also seen the disgusting, hateful anti-African imagery you used to represent your moniker. Whoever did this to destroy your mind so comprehensively, deserves serious hell time. |
