justwise: Sadly if Ukraine is not supported by Europe and Russia wins this war then you will pay even more tax in all sorts of ways. Energy bills alone will go out of control. Russia will not stop there, Poland and many other countries will be next. UK will be forced to take even more people running away from those wars. So diplomacy can not implored to mitigate energy cost rise? Abeg make EU get sense oh. Cost of living is costing me the living. |

Masterviolence: Let's make this thread an interesting one today. To all pro-russian, pro-western, pro-truth and pro-neutral fans here.
Given the current geopolitical situation the world is facing today.
Would you prefer A Putin or A Zelensky to be your president? Choose one and give me a reason why.
Leadership is all about knowing when to be soft and when to put the boot down. A good leadership requires one who is ready to take that mantle, to have the ability to be selfish with interest of his people in the large scheme of things. To put the interest of their country far above others in international dealings. One who understands that if the head is corrupt, the body will suffer. Putin in my opinion understands that the country that birthed him is surrounded by other countries filled with envy and would spare no time to devour his beloved Russia. All this can only be attained with intent to history. Putin knows why history is in the past and would always reflect in his manner of approach, that he had high standard of decorum with historical background of Russia. Such man, able to implement these in his everyday dealings is fit to be my president. In other words, Putin is calm and collected before taking and acting on a decision. |

NewDigitalWorld: In a twist of events, a UK-based Nigerian woman named Mkpouto Pius, has stated her desire to assist the expelled UNIZIK student, Miss Goddy Mbakwe in obtaining international scholarships.
She made this public, following a new video that provided an alternative perspective on the incident involving the student and the lecturer. The woman contacted miss Goddy and assured her that her family was fully behind her, claiming there was another side to the story.
In a Facebook post, Dr. Pius said she had spoken with miss Mbakwe personally and discovered an alternative version of events, claiming the lecturer had harassed the student and that the university was now attempting to hide it.
“UNIZIK did the right thing by expelling her, but they are now desperately trying to save face because they know the lecturer harassed that girl. That’s why they’ve been calling her parents, asking her to apologize publicly so they can rescind the expulsion,” Dr. Pius wrote.
She added that Mbakwe is doing well and that her family is taking good care of her. She also stated that she had given her an overseas scholarship which her parents had allegedly accepted.
“The girl is not breaking down or dying; she’s very fine. When I offered to support her in securing a scholarship abroad, she consulted her parents, and they quickly got on board with the idea,” she stated.
Netizens shared their thoughts on the matter zucchy nedu wrote : Even if the school doesn’t expel her, she will expel herself.. because she wouldn’t be able to cope in that environment

Masterviolence:
Zelensky finds himself in a state of profound confusion.
After being urged to partition Ukraine's wealth and allocate a portion to the United States as compensation for the extensive support received for his war efforts, support from which no discernible positive outcomes have emerged from the Ukrainian perspective. Zelensky initially resisted signing such an agreement. However, he now appears to have little choice in the matter.
The pressing question remains: why did he not pursue negotiations at the outset of this conflict? He hesitated, swayed by advisors who assured him that he could confront Russia, yet these same individuals are unwilling to commit troops on the ground should the situation deteriorate.
After years of protracted fighting, Ukraine has suffered immense losses: millions of lives have been lost, either through death or forced migration, the economy has been severely compromised, critical infrastructure has been devastated, significant territories have been relinquished, and a substantial portion of its natural resources has been depleted. To compound these tragedies, it appears increasingly unlikely that Ukraine will ever gain membership in NATO. You have summerised it all. I feel really sad for thr citizens of Ukraine. They are in a debt they don't know how to resolve. Zele na bascard. |

God1000: I'm not advocating for the continuation of this conflict which has brought so much devastation to both sides.
I'm only criticizing trump approach of sidelining Ukraine and Europe, excluding them from the ongoing negotiations is wrong and it's going to backfire He who pays the piper calls the tune. America gave the highest funds to this war. It is recourse that they and Russia decide how it ends after all, it is their resources. Another way Trump could go about this is to completely withdraw from the war, make deals with Russia and leave EU and Ukraine to their fate. EU can not do anything about it, rather they will whine about it and it ends there. Trump is doing them a huge favour. |

The peace talks btw Trump and Putin, might not work. Trump is looking for a way to get out of that war, and as well arm twist the EU, Russia doesn't really care whichever outcome they get. Thing is, there will be a peace talk between Trump and Putin, whatever is the outcome, Trump will impose it on Ukraine, the EU will try to convince Ukraine otherwise, to which Ukraine will break the treaty, EU gets the war they wanted, because they really want to balkanise Ukraine. America will not have to be involved at all. This is my prediction. |
