LordAdam16:
Na hardliners body dey hot.

I'm not concerned about a response anymore. Israel is officially now a non-factor.
Iran has established deterrence and a new regional paradigm where they are the top dog.
It doesn't mean Israel wouldn't try to f*ck around any more. But it does mean that there is an expectation around the planet from Washington to Moscow that if Iran is provoked, "x" number of missiles will wallop Israel.
The equation is clear to even the blind.

What I want to see is a post-mortem.
What was the "limited damage"?
What was the interception rate of Iranian homegrown AD systems?
Under what circumstances did they sustain casualties? Were they in Iran or advance parties in Iraq and Syria.

I think Iran should use its newfound leverage to tie their response to a ceasefire.
Give Satanyahu an ultimatum. It should be delivered through the US. Copy the other P5 (China, Russia, US, UK, France) + India.

The Israeli establishment is finally showing unmistakable signs that they want to wrap things up.
Earlier yesterday, IDF sources were saying they'll end the Lebanon ground operation in 2 weeks.
And now this noise pollution in Iran.
It is a pattern.
I don't trust them. We've had fake outs before.
But that's the read. Iran should do well to pile the pressure to get the lilliputians to follow through.
If that requires another harsh response, so be it.

Lastly, Putin deserves an appreciation post.
The Tsar came through.

Yeah.
I've seen two polls from Israeli pages asking what they felt about the strikes.
It's massive disappointment all through.

For years they've sold the myth of their invincibility to the citizens. They're so gullible they don't think there's any country on earth Israel can't "bomb to stone age".

Seeing Israel unravel slowly before their eyes is shocking.

They're planning to end the war in South Lebanon owing to huge daily loses and increasing cases of mutiny in the IDF.

In Gaza, the IDF is in a quagmire.
Everytime they declare victory, Hamas manages to lure them into yet another deadly ambush. Idf had quickly declared victory in the North of Gaza at the earlier stage of the war, they're back there now, suffering huge loses, killing civilians in retaliation and becoming even more loathed around the world.
There's absolutely no doubt Israel is the most hated country in the world today. Worst still (for Israel), much of its lost love and goodwill have been transferred to the hitherto much hated Iranian 3H proxies.

What card does Shitrael have left now that its much awaited "powerful response" to the Iranian ballistic missiles attack has turned out a complete farce?
Not forgetting that they'd have to bear the humiliation of running into bomb shelters awaiting another rain of ballistic missiles attack from Iran all over again!

Shitrael has nothing left to show.
No deterrence, no surprises.

If the axis of resistance must get rid of the malignant cancer of the middle East, this is the best time.
I'd love a response to this attack from Iran. But if Iran decides not to respond, omo I understand because me, shame deh catch me. I was expecting a kinzhal type response from Israel. They got my hope high and left me hanging...😂 😂 😂

LordAdam16:
Putin sent him a final warning to end the War.
Putin went old school. Wrote a letter hand-delivered by Russian diplomats.
This was after Blinken's visit.
Less than 48 hours after, Netanyahu dispatched Mossad Chief to Qatar.

I think it is a head fake.
He has had multiple opportunities to strike a deal, but he keeps playing games.

The Iranians are now signaling that they'll recalibrate if Netanyahu telegraphs the attack like the last one.
The US favors this. But again, I think it is a trap.
A telegraphed attack would allow Israel to save face under the guise of hashing out a ceasefire deal.
A replay of the Haniyeh ruse.
Giving them one last opportunity to escalate while they'll claim to be working out details of the deal.
New escalation would mean the assassination of Iranian leadership.
That should mean hot war. But if he succeeds, Netanyahu will immediately agree to any deal on the table and the US will offer Ukraine and sanctions relief as a peace offering to get Russia to impress Iran to take the deal and end the War.

This way Netanyahu gets his victory lap.
Iran has egg on its face and there'll be a reckoning within Iranian leadership.
The power tussle and blame games that ensue will weaken the regime.

Rather than take this obvious bait.
Tehran should stick to the plan.
Iran currently has a standing LOW directive. Essentially, when they notice Israeli air assets are airborne, they start firing missiles.

They keep falling for the Western "deescalate for a deal" BS.
Meanwhile when Amos visited Lebanon to make demands, Berri simply took him to his balcony and said "No negotiations while IAF is bombing Beirut". Afterwards, Hezbollah started firing ballistics and deploying Radwan forces. They'd dialed up the pressure in Southern Lebanon. Yesterday was one of the deadliest days for the IDF in Lebanon.

Iran should only consider dialog after the next exchange, not before. Talk about a deal while the Knesset is in ruins.
Stop trying to be civil with these barbarians.
Haniyeh, Nilforoushan, Sinwar, Nasrallah, and Saffiedine are dead. The last four would still be alive if they had responded to the Haniyeh assassination.
Why the f*ck are they still acting like this is a video game?

The Russians were bamboozled once at the start of the Ukraine War when they wanted a deal. They did not negotiate after that.
They're negotiating on the battlefield.
If Putin was always willing to negotiate a ceasefire to prevent an escalation like delivery of tanks or jets, the Russian army will not be crushing the 404 right now.
Ayatollah Khamenei and President Masoud are annoying af.

-Lord
Khemeni would be a fool to think Israel will deescalate. It's impossible. Now that Russia has gotten herself involved, let's see whether it will save the Ayatollah.

I hope Iran does not fall for this latest hoax.

If they miss this golden opportunity to shatter the perception of Israel's ironclad security blanket provided by the Americans, they'll regret it.

Netanyahu is again trying to play his "negotiation" gambit.
He is NOT serious.
Now that he's confirmed that he cannot face off Iran in a direct, extended hot war; he's bringing up the tired "let's negotiate" line to soften the overall character of the impending exchange.
If he comes out unscathed, he'll bide his time, continue his massacres in Gaza; then assassinate the Ayatollah, President Masoud, or General Salami. Immediately after, he'll hurriedly agree to any peace deal to end the War and claim victory.
It worked with Haniyeh + Nasrallah assassinations. The Iranians will be irredeemable f**ls if they fall for it twice.

F**l me once, shame on you.
F**l me twice, shame on...

Stick to your original plan!
Don't give us lamba tomorrow that they played you.

-Lord

LordAdam16:
It is logical of them to sit this out.

The Lebanese Army has less than 100K troops.
It is also diverse.
Israel will use its stationary assets as target practice.
In a few weeks tops, they'll essentially have to fight like a guerilla force.

Meanwhile, Lebanon is a country of 5 million people surrounded by larger countries with major Sunni Islamic terrorist problems.
After sustaining huge casualties in the War, the Islamists will walk in unimpeded and establish terror organizations.
They've had several scrapes with these terror groups, so it's best to let Hezbollah handle the IDF.

The Lebanese Army is doing its job of not letting the Sunni Islamists open a new front in Lebanon as they're attempting to do in Syria.
Because then Hezbollah's attention will be divided. It's core mandate is to defend Lebanese borders not assist Hamas.
So it will redirect some forces to the new threat.

The problem Lebanon faces is peculiar.
The four leading sects--Christians, Sunnis, Shiites, Druze--do not trust each other nor should they.
The natural ally of the Christians are the West + Israel. Natural allies of the Sunnis are the Gulf monarchies. Natural allies of the Shiites are the Persians. The Druze pair up with whomever has the most power at any point.
So even if you send the Army against the IDF, Aman can easily flip a Druze, Christian, or Sunni Muslim soldier into feeding coordinates and intelligence to the IDF, because it is in their sectarian interests for the IDF to prevail over Hezbollah.
It's a mess.

Let them remain neutral, protect the flanks, and offer an off-ramp.
Hezbollah will always have a lifeline because any deal to end the War will involve returning to the status quo or similar.
Unlike Gaza, the West cannot say that all Lebanese want to destroy Israel. So they'll cede control back to the Lebanese Army which will promptly look the other way while Hezbollah acquires deadlier armory. It is clear that after this War, Iran will transform Hezbollah and Houthis into near-equals of the IRGC's.
Hezbollah is far more useful to Lebanon than Iran even.

A lot of what has happened in the War is what you'll expect in a proxy War.
The US has had to watch helplessly as its proxy forces in Syria has been pummeled by both Syrian/Russian and Turkish forces.
If Iran wants to change the calculus, it'll need to build its Air Defense capabilities, its Air Force fleet, and force projection.
So it'll need to establish several bases in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen. Deploy air defense to protect forces there. Then deploy enough air force assets to be able to enforce a No Fly Zone.
To do that, it'll have to move way closer into the Axis orbit and become what Turkey is to NATO.
Unlike Turkey that recognized its limitations early on and acted accordingly, Ayatollah Khomeini famously pursued a "Neither West Nor East" foreign policy. So while Turkey was building its economy and fighting force, the Mullahs have been operating under a self-imposed embargo on cooperating closely with the leading superpowers.
They only changed their stance recently and it is taking this war and the threat of Israeli decapitation strike on the leadership for them to finally give up their completely boneheaded policy.

Everything that has happened so far leads back to that.
Turkey has more F-16s than Israel. It offered to buy more than 100 F-35 and received 4 before they were banned from the program.
In exchange, the US will give them 40 more F-16 of the most recent block. While Israel has 35 F-35's. And they've made some ground in developing their homegrown variant of the F-35 because they were involved in development and production of the F-16 and also involved in the development of the F-35.
If the Mullahs were not complete buffoons, they could have had a similar relationship with the Russians or Chinese. Iran will be crawling with S-400s, S-35s, S-57s, J-20s, and UAVs. We would not be concerned about Israeli strikes and they could have been able to enforce a NFZ in Syria, Iraq, and Beirut. That'd mean that IRGC officers operating in these countries will have operational freedom and better able to support the Resistance. Russia and China will be so pleased that they have a partner that can beef up protection of their interests in the region. In the War in Syria, the Axis would have made and held more ground.
In this War against Ukraine or the potential War in Taiwan, they'd be able to free up assets for their war effort and Iran would have picked up the slack easy. And vice versa. Russian and Chinese jets would be patrolling some flanks in Iran while they forward-deploy more Iranian air assets closer to the frontline.
And this is before we get to the topic of nukes.

Leadership is not all about having titles, living large in mansions, and having a harem.
It requires strategic planning and words can't express how awful the Mullahs have been.
The Resistance is having to do more heavy lifting under impossible conditions because of decade-spanning errors by the Mullahs.

-Lord
Your analysis deh on point.
