After TTC for about 18months, God did it and we were like them that dream(testimony on TTC thread).
Pregnancy journey began, morning sickness was epic, could hold anything down, had to take IV fluids. I was okay around the 4th month and I could eat well.
Fast forward to 36 weeks I started getting depressed because we were financially stranded and the thought of baby coming anytime overwhelmed me. I had thought of getting some money and going for thrift but God stepped in and gave us a jaw dropping financial surprise(not a single thrift in our shopping) . My feet and ankle started swelling, and gradually the whole of my legs up to my waist. Daily activities became a task, had to be scheduled for induction few days after Edd.
Induction was fast,it wasn't upto 12hrs. The doctor and the mid wives were surprised at how fast I progressed. I started having contractions like an hour after the second pill was inserted. The doctor examined me and said I was about 6cm dilated. My water broke a few minutes after and before the midwife that was with me knew it, membrane ruptured. I just felt something like a balloon come out of my vagina, I was quickly transfered to the delivery couch and was instructed not to push until I was asked to. it took a while for baby head to crown( those hours were the longest of my life). I couldn't push after baby's head crowned, I was given drip with oxytocin to help strengthen the contractions. After a while I was given an episiotomy and my baby girl slid out.

Sorry mama. Nothing to worry about, since there is no protein in your urine and your bp is fine. My own pcv was 30% as at when I gave birth. I opted for induction because I was tired already, I dey waka like penguin . The swelling moved to my waist as well.
My leg don almost swell reach my head ooo My BP is normal, other vitals in urine are also normal, blood is 35% Is there anything to be worried about, the swelling gets worse daily

Sorry I couldn't reply earlier, this second phase gat as e be o BS BS BS I got married in August 2019 and we've been trying since then to have a baby, went for different tests, scan and the likes but was told I have ovarian cyst at my right ovary, I was scared, depressed and confused because some nurses said ha u can't get pregnant at all with this ur ovarian cyst unless u remove it, while some said u can still get pregnant if ur left ovary dey function well. I started treating the ovarian cyst with drugs and injections to the extent that I no feel my buttocks again due to too much injections, used clomid and vitE sotay but nothing happened. Fast forward to year 2021, my dad just called me earlier on that day and told me not to use anything again, be it medical drugs or tradio-medical stuff. I was like y nw, he said his spirit just direct him to tell me that so I stopped to use anything and about 2mths later God answered my prayer unexpectedly.
Lemme go to the birth story gangan jare, if u could remember that I was always ranting when I passed my due date. I did a lot of thing kokoiye talked about to induced natural labor buh still mama dey gallant for stomach, na so I carry myself go see my doctor on jan28 nd he said I should come back that night with my hospital bag and I was like ok today na today. Was induced by 12am( as jjc wey I b, I was still wearing my pant and bra) at exactly 1: 15 na so I dey feel somehow dey tell d nurse say my stomach hurts buh she no look my side, she told me that nothing dey do me nw as I still dey wear pant, omo see me see speed as I throway everything. She checked nd she was like wow that was quick u are at 6cm. When it was time to push na so una sis dey defecate on couch oo, las las they gave me epi and I push my damsel out at 6:30am weighing 3.2kg
I am grateful and thankful for the journey so far. Bag is fully packed, I can't wait to hold my baby girl. Tiredness be giving me mood swings, its well with me Sha.

Teamies please, it's time to place your bags close to the door or even in the car. I want to believe you all have packed fully. Start taking walks, staircase climbing and squats to help with easy delivery. Watch out for labour signs and know when to head to the hospital.
We shall not record any loss in Jesus name, amen. Go forth and bring forth with baby alive, mother alive. Congratulations in advance.

Yuzxy: My edd according to scan is 23 Jan and according to lmp is 28jan but both have passed without any sign of labor. I've done everything from walking, dancing, exercising, eating dates, pineapple, drinking zobo, sex, all to no avail. Right now, I feel angry at myself for still being pregnant, angry at the baby for refusing to come out. I'm even ashamed of going out as my tummy has been big for a while. Angry at my husband for travelling and leaving me with two hyper active kids to tend with pregnancy. Angry at God for ignoring my prayers. I just feel bad. Each day I wake up hoping it would be the day but it ends up the way it started.

After having my baby girl in June 2020 through emergency CS, my husband said we were done with childbearing. I knew he spoke out of concern for what I went through (dilated up to 8cm and was stuck before I called for the cs)
Although I wanted another baby, we said we were going to wait for a while so that my son and daughter would come up a little. We thought we were very careful with the withdrawal method and would have bet our last money on it.
While my girl was about 8 months, prophecy came that God was going to bless me with another baby soon even though I wasn't ready. Mehn, me and hubby stylishly said God, we go jump and pass this one abeg cos we had no house help.
Funny enough, it wasn't up to 2 months later, and I dreamt that I had twin baby girls. I don't dream that kind of dream, so when I woke up, I quickly rushed to the bathroom with pregnancy strip and this was about 4am. I haven't even finished dipping the stick in urine when the two lines appeared very thick.
I dashed into the room where my husband was reading and was almost crying when I showed him the strip. I wanted to accuse him of purposely doing it, but deep down, I knew he was as surprised as I was. I just wanted to blame someone cos I just couldn't imagine going through another 9 months with two toddlers tugging along.
Well, we accepted our fate but I just made up my mind that it was going to be another CS.
My first trimester wasn't so smooth but it wasn't so bad either. Second semester was wonderful. And then by 7 months, pelvic pain started creeping in. And my tummy became so big that I started doubting if what I had in my belly was just one baby.
Turning in bed nko? That one takes over 5 minutes for me to negotiate with baby and the pain before I would be allowed to turn or get up.
Although I was told that I was going to give birth naturally if I can trust God, but I didn't want to take chances. I knew that natural birth is always preferable by many, but I have never had an easy labour. So, I told God to give me supernatural birth before the scheduled CS date if He wanted me to go that route.
But you see, He is a wise God and knows that whatever way we bring forth our children, what matters is mother alive, baby alive. Besides, I could hardly walk well towards my 38th week so I knew I had to go in for the CS.
To cut the long story short (I sabi write long story sha, sorry ) I went in for the CS on 22nd January which was what my doctor calculated as my 38th week. And to the glory of God, it was successful. The CS was far much better as I felt no pain during the surgery unlike my first when the doctor cut me even before the anesthetic kicked in. I saw pepper then.
After the CS was carried out this time and the anesthetic started wearing off, I felt a lot of pain and still feel pain. I'm getting better, but still have to deal with pain (CS is no joke).
I'm thankful and grateful to Almighty God for safe delivery. My princess is worth all the pain and I couldn't have been more grateful.
I pray for our TTC sisters to experience the joy of carrying their babies just like we do in this forum.
To my lovely February team mates, I see you all. You gals are next in line to go and deliver your beauties.
And of course to all the mamas here, you all shall deliver safely with no loss of baby or mother in Jesus name, amen.
Happy new year cappo, we are doing fine. As per your rant ehn, just stay strong na small he remain. Me I can't pick anything that drops on the floor again o, to sit on the toilet sef these days is another task entirely. Good to know am not alone as per the sleeping issue, its not been easy. Hospital bag isn't complete, not shopped for baby sef due to lack of funds. I thought of it all and just broke down in tears yesterday coupled with the body pains and tiredness. But I ll try and get somethings this weekend even if its going for high grade thrift. We are 36weeks already baby can decide to show anytime. I saw mucus this afternoon when I went to pee without blood tho, I guess its a good sign that body is preparing towards labour.

Happy new month teamies! It's finally December! Do you know what that means? It means we just have two more months before we start welcoming those bunnies in the oven.
How is the pushing ministry? This pregnancy is treating me well, except for that groin pain when I lay down, turning in bed, or sit for long. I fall asleep anywhere I see o.
Enough about me, how excited are you? How far with shopping? Having aches and pains too? Just pop in and say hi. We love hearing from our teamies.

The pregnancy pillow help me relieved frm d pains n mk me sleep better

Maybe you can try below yoga poses, if it will help ease the pain. I tried it when i was beginning to have round ligament pain and it really helped, plus most comments on the video said it helped ease alot pain, you can also read comments to see anything you can add.
Also if your mattress is too soft and you can switch to a firmer one pls try that, if too hard try a softer option. if you sit or stand for too long also try and make adjustments

You are right mama, moderation is the way to go about it. Pineapple is one of my favorites right now, especially if its cold . I started eating it right after ms and it doesn't do me anything.
MzCorleone: I didn't know there's a particular week/month to eat pineapples. I have been eating it right from 1st trimester up until now and am 36wks gone,its one of the fruits I could stand during ms. I think eating fruits just like everything else should be in moderation and said fruits should be ripe enough to consume.

Back to Sept 19, 2020 when we had our introduction after it was shifted from April due to the epidemic, The pastor of my DW father ask us to go for blood compatibility test and told DW to do Pelvic scan. The tests all came out fine expect for one, she had two uterine fibroids. This dampened our December marriage plan. Medical councels advised surgery as it was big. But we scared and agreed to try getting pregnant after wedding first.
The wedding was held on 12/12/2020 in good faith but honestly I'm not expecting pregnancy that fast. On 6/01/2021, she noticed a terrible pain by her right tommy. We rushed to hospital and it was confirmed that it was the fibroid worrying her. She was given drugs as pain killers but was recommended for surgery. She started her medications and some herb stuffs but there's a particular one she's to use on the day she saw her menses. She last saw her menses on 23/12 so by 31/01 when the menses don't show, we are advised to do PT before using other drugs, and behold, PT was positive. I can't rejoice, I left the hospital more confused than I was when I went, I was asking how fibroids as huge as 11cm by 9cm as at then will cohabit with a developing embryo?
The first semster was very smooth, no MS, no trouble just eating like anything and DW still works. Second semester was terrible, serious agonizing pains from time to time, she have to resigned and rest on bed but still she hardly can move her fingers. I do all house chores and still work and have to carry her from bed, it was a hard time, i started emaciating so fast. At a point i took her to my mum because it's difficult to cope with my work. I once get to work with a wrongly buttoned shirt, it was that bad as i saw her goes through pains...
God helped us, we reach 3rd semester, things changed rapidily. She now walk and eat well, pcv improved and can cook, sweep and do some house chores. The stomach is so big, the fibroids are growing one side and baby on the other side and have reach almost 16cm by 9cm. She has serious contraction on Monday, we get to hospital and we are asked to do FWB Scan but was too late, all lab closed. We stay over in the hospital, contraction was continuous through out the night but not coordinated as it stood at 4cm, we latter went for scan early on Tuesday and the result was good. On seeing the result, Emergency CS was recommended, we gathered money at speed of light and the CS was successful. The fibroids packed out was so huge it takes 2.5L formalin in 5L of cover to contain it, as heavy and big like a moderate water melon, so huge I was shocked seeing what my baby had co habit with for 9 months. That the boy is fine, big and health with no abnormalities is the miracle the doctors are inquiry about...

Hello mama, My hubby too had 20% active motility. He was placed on injection once weekly for about a month or so,pouviron, spermboom, foreverliving multimaca and vitolize for men, VitE. He took them religiously for about 5months.

Thankful to God for this pregnancy. Totally unplanned and was very shocking to us. I have 2 girls and living in a foreign country with little or no help, i was fine with them girls, but God had other plans for us.
Let me Jumpstart, i really wanted to give birth on Saturday, so we could have ppl home to help us with the girls and hubby can have time to stay with me in the hospital and as well be with the girls, so i just kept telling people that it was either the 27th Aug or 4th sept. Well 27th came and passed nothing, by friday 3rd, i danced, walked, paced for 1 hour, Climbed the stairs counting my steps more than 200. Laid hands on my tummy asking God to send labour my way and also speaking to my baby that i was ready to carry him on my hands.
Hubby and i did the do and then i went to bed around 11.30 pm. By 1.30 am i had gone to pee twice, the third pee time came with cramps on my waist, i quickly checked the time 1.34 am so i can track and know when to go to the hospital. I had plans of doing my make up once labour starts so i can take fine pictures lol. So i quickly fixed my brow and from then non stop the pain became so intense and i felt like i wanted to poop. I told hubby the pain was unbearable, he just asked us to go to the hospital, we dropped our girls off and headed for the hospital that was 30 mins drive away.
Goodness God i started to feel the urge to push right from the car we were still 20 mins away from the hospital, i mustered all the prayers i could, closed my legs and kept telling hubby the baby was coming, he needs to park so we call emergency service, he kept driving, it was a terrific one.
To cut my story short, we got to the emergency centre, parked behind their trucks, hubby was trying to carry me as fast as possible so they spotted us and walked towards us to help hubby carry me, immediately two ppl attempted to carry me each on one side, my water broke, they looked down and there was the baby's head, hubby said they grabed the bed from the truck, b4 you say jack, baby slipped out without any tears, i didn't push. I had my baby outside, just by the emerg truck lol. He just couldn't wait anymore.
I am the most grateful to God we arrived the emerg just that second/minute. The total labour to delivery was 1 hour, and we drove 30 minutes out of this 1 hour.
1st labour pain 1.34am baby was born 2.37am weighing 7.2 lbs.
May God make it easy for the remaining mothers and bless all awaiting mums fruit of the womb.

Good day cappo, hope you are good as well? I have taken 2TT shots so far. we are waiting for next scan to know gender before we start shopping, hopefully next month. I went to regesiter at another hospital yesterday and the doctor gave me another Edd, I have 3 different dates now.lol May God continue to strengthen us
It's the second week of September and we are gradually moving to the promised land. How are we doing teamies? Have you taken your first TT injection? Anyone done anatomy and sex scan? If you have please share sex with us.
I missed my antenatal appointment and therefore haven't taken my tt shot, but I'll do that once school resumes next week so that I can leave my boy in school and go with the girl.
I hope all the morning sickness is finally gone? The way things are expensive now eh, I wonder what will happen by December) January. Therefore, I suggest we start buying things now, especially first time mums.
