Hello RelaxingEnd,

It has been often used simultaneously and sometimes categorized as equal. Academically, a PGD is somewhat more robust than a PGC with an extended duration.

Google will easily answer your question, try it.

Best of Luck
I appreciate your reply. I've tried Google. I just wanted to get additional opinions here. And your answer is satisfying. Thanks.

Please what's the difference between a Postgraduate certificate and Postgraduate diploma? Which one has more value?

The course you're going for is fine

If you're a volunteer, you wouldn't need to show your personal financial status.

IT WILL END IN PRAISES.
I really appreciate your reply. Thank you!

Hello,

It would have made so much sense if your UG studies was in any way connected to what services your Father's company offers (I do not know if it is or not).

What you can do is to say that you've been an understudy In your dad's Business and that you look to take over after your Studies in Canada. Again, It would have made so much sense if your UG course was related.
If not, you'll have to really convince the VO that in the last 2 years, you've developed so much interest in your dad's Business and that you'll love to get better experience in that field in order to come back and improve the business.

If you're not going for a course that will be beneficial to your dad's business, then you can say that you've been actively involved in your dad's Business while waiting for the opportunity to further your studies in the same course you studied as an undergraduate. You'll have to back it up with really good Future/Career goals, like where you'd like to work when you return, what problems you'll like to solve, etc.

I wish you luck!
Thank you so much for this. I studied business admin. And the course I'm looking to go for is also a management course which will beneficial to my dad's firm. I hope this is okay? And if I'm a volunteer, do I need to show my personal financial status?

I appreciate the good job done here and those that assist others in one way or another. I'm about to process my application, and I have a few questions. My dad wants to sponsor my education in Canada. He has enough money to pay for the school and my living expenses, but the thing getting me worried is my employment history. I finished NYSC in 2019, and since then I've been hustling and doing different stuff. I really don't have work experience. And I have little cash in my bank account. Now, I'm worried about my employment history and personal financial status. My dad has a company, and I go there to assist him once in a while. He doesn't pay me.
1. Can I use this by saying I volunteered at his company and he doesn't pay me?
2. Does my employment or personal financial status matter since my dad has enough to sponsor me?
3. If said I volunteered at my dad's company, and I don't get paid, do I have to submit my personal bank statement?

You can get into the pool and apply for permanent residency. (If you meet the cutoff that is)
Thank you for this. If I meet the cutoff and apply, do Canada easily give PR?

Hello, guys. I'm been following this thread as a guest for a while now, and I've decided to register. I've gotten a lot of information here. And those people that have been taking their time to answer questions and help others are wonderful humans. I aways smile when I read about the successful of people's application.

I'm considering studying in Canada, and I've some questions. I'd really appreciate if someone could answer them.

I studied Business Administration, graduated with 2.2, and I'm considering a PGD in Project Management. I think the duration of the course is a year.

Now, here's my question.

After a year, I know I can apply for post-graduate work permit, which will be valid for one year because of the duration of my course. After the work permit expires, how do one continue to stay legally? Maybe one would have to apply to stay, what are the chances of this being successful?
