FACE:Government still have power to do things right and expedite it, if they want, there are "urgent matter of public interest" and "any other means" clauses in the law to protect their (govt) actions. Obasanjo got some illegally acquired properties back from some high ranking military and government officials siting public interest and nothing happened. |

This is a good development if all is in good intentions and carried out to logical conclusion and not mere reaction to Hillary Clinton's comments during her visit last week. |

They were from the bigger Ilesa, kept their ancestral name. Same for Imesi, there is Imesi Ile Osun and Oke Imesi, (Ekiti) Inisa - one close to Ejigbo another close to Ikirun, Ikoyi - one in Osun state another in Lagos, Ipetu Ile and Ipetu Ijesa, Ipetu Eleni and Ipetumodu. Erin Ijesa, Erin Osun (Osun State) and Erin Ile (Kwara), Erinmo, Erinjiyan (Ekiti). Owu in Osun and Owu in Egba, Iba in Lagos and Iba in Osun State, Ijaye Osun and Ijaye Abeokuta all have similar history. Also most had their root from leaving Ile Ife from a particular family and kept their names. |

@hollandis, please read this, again, yes, hollandis, betrayal of trust is crime against humanity innocent people who have kept their hard earn money with them or bought shares in these companies based on figures they display and promises given now are let down. Last year alone, most pension funds lost about 30 - 40 % in value which means people might retire to nothing after contributing some percentages of their salaries into those funds for so many years. The realities of present situation is scary. If you kept your money with someone under agreement and he misused the money. If he is unable to pay you back would you just walk away or you would call the police, has he committed any crime? |

I hope they are serious this time and not just reacting to Hillary Clinton's visit comment. The bankers really need to explain why they have to make people poor just because they trusted them. They should get the Ebitimi Banigos and the Sarakis arrested too not just these latest ones. |
