@Remii It's all fallacy that if you don't breast feed then you're likely not to be healthy. My brothers, my sister and myself never got breast fed and tell you what, we're healthier than folks who were breast fed. The last time I fell ill was 2 years from now and still counting. None of us -- myself especially --ever had health complications. My only illness is headache and that's like once in 3 years. It runs in the blood men, it ain't about breast milk.
There is nothing fallacious about nature every mammals breast feeds. I am a student of science and read that colostrum discharge from breast in the first few days is reach in protein and give foundation  for life. Your case may have been compensated for by given those essential mineral in drugs. I would not like to derail the trend sha, but do not stop your wife from breast feeding.

However, those who can suck, should suck.  cheesy

At gunpoint is another story of course.
Tpia, you will dip tissue paper or cloth in to the nose of tender baby to pull catarrh from the head? even if the pain would kill the baby you carried for 9mtns and pushed out with severe pain, he he he, keep this post and reply when the baby arrives.
CultureRe: Osun -- State Of The Living Spring! Identify Here by Remii(m): 3:20am On Jul 24, 2009
@amosexy & tpia,

If your baby had running nose and the poor child is choking if you did not have anything to suck out the catarrh, you can not clean it with cloth or tissue paper because the nose is too tender, would you use your mouth to suck out the catarrh the way African mothers do or let the baby choke to death.

Though it might not be widely accepted, with people claiming it to be unhealthy or whatever, I'm not a big fan of breast feeding. If and when I get married, my wife has a child, I'd say a big NO to breast feeding; let alone breast feeding in public -- disgusting. Don't even mention Hausa!! They have no rival when it comes to filthiness.
@TheSeeker, I would suggest you seek before you decide, you may not be doing your child any good by denying him his right to healthy life. Breast feeding for the first 6 months is very important and should continue for up to 2 years. You do not have to do it in public though, some companies now have dedicated rooms for nursing mothers. Permit my language, if you really want to stay away from all disgusting things maybe you should not make the baby because part of the act could be "dirty" too.

Is it tru dat der is dis part in Osun dat their ppl alwaz give birth to twins becos of a particular soup(Obe-orunla) dey eat ?
Plz how come the Ejigbo i Osun speaks French ?
It is Igbo Ora in Ibarapa Oyo State that holds Guinness record for twins in almost every family, they link it to yam eating. You can google for it.

Ejigbo people are in Abidjan,  Ivory Coast not Benin Republic, Ivory Coast speak french as official language.

You dont have to marry gorrila sha, some ugly people have ugly brain too. Some fine faces have fine brain also, abi Fola Adeola of GT Bank no smart and fine.

Historically yes, but have you heard "ORA IGNOMINY"? Do you know where that is located right now?
Ora is still where it is, the town is located along the road to kwara state through Ila the same road leads to Oke Ila, Ora, Otun Ekiti and finally to Ajase Oro Ilorin road. You could access Kogi and Abuja thru the same route.

The only people that can claim to be Lagosians are the EPEs and AWORIs, any other people claiming they are Lagosians are disillusioned.
Land owners are different from people who have become indegenes, Aworis rules as kings but those who have been in Lagos since time Imo river what do you call them. Are you going to send the Fernades back to Brazil now. lol.  Even Tinubu the former Governor was from Osun State, Iragbiji and Jakande was from Kwara, so what are you saying.

Yes, closest to the officially written one but that's not where Yorubas are from. If you ask me, Ife should be the official language for Yorubas but y'all don't like them that much.
I really do not know why, may be because those who first write Yoruba letters like Ajayi Crowder and Samuel Johnson were from Oyo area, I guess.

i still wonder why most native lagosians bear johnson, thompson etc even though they're yoruba
The Lagosians that have English or Brazillian names are either

Got the name from their father early association with whitemen, some have to change name since oyinbo could not pronounce them while names like Dacosta Da Rocha, McGreagor were names of freed slaves or their children that returned to Nigeria after slave trade. They even named  there compounds after foreign land like, Campos or Brazilian Quarters in Isale Eko, The main the main Lagos
There are other reason though.

Even the Oyo may have accents the dialect spoken in Oyo is the closest to the officially written one. So they could lay claim to the original Yoruba Language. Nobody writes Ife, Ijebu , Ekiti, Egba, Egbado, Ikale, Ilaje, Igbomina, Ijesa, Ibarapa, Ondo, etc.

I mean the present Alaafin of Oyo, the king of Oyo land. The man is very handsome even with his tribal marks. though people insinuate he bleaches his skin.
