Find out details from your broker it is either you have some money left in your account or the shares were bought at higher prices than what you are using to calculate now, you know the bears are back now, just ask for transaction details. It is about 2.5% buying and 2.6% seliing all charges inclusive, so you have to buy and sell the same stock to get charged +- 5% |

It is not right to specify spouse for your children, but if child upbringing is right, the child should be able to chose husband or wife that the family would be comfortable with. While family acceptance is not utmost requirement but in case of unforeseen circumstances it is important to consider it. |
The military set up is different from civilian set up all over the world. It is total loyalty but it is sad that the system did that to the guys. Protest is not allowed and everything is done to discourage it including making scapegoats pay dearly. Way out is that if you are not cut out for it, leave, they will not allow you to break the ranks under any guise, simple. If you are fortunate to rise to the top you could decide to do the right thing until then obey the last command. |
jay bee:
For 50 card?. Omo i no dey that stupid.
Just like other polls and elections in Nigeria, people would not vote and they would complain about the results. The poll reflected the mind set of the participants simple. In future those who would want their opinion to count should participate. However this result could not be taken too seriously since the collection base is SMS and only about 10m of 140m Nigerians are connected, about 7% even with 100% participation of GSM holders. . |
;d |
The poll results show the depth or shallowness of Nigerian minds. Considering the class of people that participated in the poll, that could be described as the working and supposedly enlighten group, it is not funny. However, the mode of poll collection would not make it representative of Nigerians minds though. Now that Adeboye knows that his people recorgnise him, he should be bold to tell his friends in government to rule his people well and stop stealing. |
Mr/Ms swit D how are you? |

Anyway Lagbaja may have his turn later, he is even an alumnus of OAU. |
ifababa:If it is knowledge based and there is prove that "Papa" developed a special way of growing his own crops better than other farmers why not document and improve on what he is did for the benefit of others, not all methods used today in all fields were developed in the universities, I think, lots of African medicine (not the diabolical, oh) had been lost because of our western tainted minds, as if Africans did not cure themselves of sicknesses before advent of Orthodox medicine. We need to learn from people who succeeded without formal training who know that may lie the link to our indigenous technology development. We should be able to identify basic knowledge, refine them and discard irrelevant aspects. |
ifababa:Ifababa: May be you too need to check your records. Syncro System was realised in 1976 and it got KSA first Grammy nomination the second nomination was "Odu" in 1999. Check and correct me if am wrong. |
I respect everyone right to his view, but I wonder why people write as if KSA would be teaching all the subjects required to get BA (Music), Has anyone listen to this guy speak, do would you tell me that he speaks like a one does not not know what is is talking about, this is a musician that has been recognised world wide and has been the first Nigerian musician to be nominated for Grammy Awards back in 1980s, the only second person is Femi Kuti, who did not go to school too. What the university would make attempt to get from him his practical aspect of music. Could someone tell me the degree Bill gate received from the university before he developed WINDOWS. Knowledge is knowledge and God puts it where He wants, we should put sentiments apart if we really want to transfer of knowledge that would survive after our generation. |
This is not entirely new development as such, Yemi Elubuibon was a visiting lecturer on Ifa to African Studies Dept (Yoruba) of University of Ife. He does the same to a university in Brazil and I think in Atlanta, Georgia. There are traditional drummers and dancers teaching would be professionals the basics of the trade in various universities. It is all about making the graduate close to reality that just theory alone. The people who explain practical welding to engineers and electrical/electronic workshop are not university graduates, they do not set questions and they do not mark or award marks, main lecturer of the course does all that. |
I think it is good and positive development what he would teach would be practical aspects of music, I suppose, his notes and course content may have be drawn by department. Engineers learn a lot from technicians and artisans in workshop courses. I think this is in the same line for musical students. |

adigun101:Good to read you at not blinded with religious bigotry however, per level of your non intelligence you have written enough for me to know that all you need to decide on a qualified personnel for a job is paper certificate and preferably should not be from Nigeria. People like you is the part of the reasons student these days now do whatever it takes to get certificates even if they are unable to defend it. |
adigun101:Adigun101: For your information, Islamic Banking system has not been affected with the current global reccession and your so called Western world are considering it as a possible way out of avoiding future recession. So mind your language and do not allow your religious bigotry to blind your eyes from facts. One would just hope that your comments and contributions have not been based on Soludo is Christian and Sanusi is Muslim. |
