The President was inaugurated on 29th May 2023 which is approximately 2 years and 2 weeks ago, and has done neither press conference nor private interviews. The US president is the most popular national leader, so I'll use him as an example: Trump holds press conferences nearly every week and even speaks to reporters inside plane, on the tarmac, at the front of the Whitehouse, etc.

Buhari held just a single interview and never held any other one for the next 7½ years and we thought it was due to his poor state of memory and communication skills.

President Jonathan held uncountable number of interviews, so why has APC taken our democracy and civilization back to 17th century by running the country as a monarchy where the president can only be seen receiving visitors in his offices but never answering questions from the press??

So why's a so-called "Lagos boy" shying away from holding interviews??

What you don't know is that as president of the United States of America, he has veto power over some certain things....one of them being this deportation of illegal immigrants.

There's nothing to get a headache about. It's very normal for the public to side with and be sympathetic to the opposition and that was exactly what Nigerians did. If PDP comes back to power today, Nigerians currently lambasting APC will also begin to be sympathetic with the APC and lash out at it if the govt is trying to persecute it. This is just a common sense thing.

I'm impressed with how Africa was able to hold its ground and rebuff America's pressure for this man to resign about 5 years ago.

I doubt budget is what this man is interested in. He wants anything at the helm of Tech and AI. Is it not suspi that half a trillion dollars project doesn't have the very man that can be the 5&6 of such at the helm?

I'm not saying he left because of the budget, I'm saying Trump may have secretly asked him to resign because Trump wasn't happy that he criticised the budget. Don't forget that Elon's job is to help the US cut down on its spending, so Elon was right to have made that comment about the budget.

Not at all. Even though, he recently reduced his commitment at DOGE in order to have more time for his businesses, his sudden exit is most likely related to his criticism of the rubbish over-bloated budget that Trump presented to the Congress.

He did his best, even at the risk of his business and his very life.

I like that he criticised the bloated Trump budget, because how can you say you want to reduce govt budget and spending and you're now increasing defense budget which has always been a haven of waste — from $800b to a huuuuuge $1tr??

In other words, it's $10b this year and another one next year. I pray Argentina or Greece doesn't happen to Nigeria, because the amount of loan Buhari and Tinubu have taken within the last 10 years, is very grievous and can wreck our economy to smithereens.

I prefer this. In Nigerian judiciary the case will drag on for 10 years or more and people will have forgotten about it, but this hasty demolition already gives a sense of relief and justice to everyone whilst the court case drags on.

Very true. A Governor is also free to steal my car in their capacity as governor, so that when he's finally convicted outside of office the current governor will go to jail on his behalf.

Most yahoo boys are not smart. Only a handful of them are SMART. It just doesn't make sense keeping such amount of money in your bank account when you know you got it illegally. Driving a 30m worth of car is insane also especially in a place like Ilorin that most can't afford many things.

It's their lousy lifestyle that gives them away. I always tell people that you can't be living an extreme luxury lifestyle in an environment that most people can't basic things. You'd stand out and that will make you vulnerable to being arrested, killed or harm.

I think you're wrong—it's not a matter of lifestyle inflation not matching their environment. The EFCC uses high tech tracking system that always breaches their own 'palasa' online security, so it doesn't matter where they live — they'd still be ratted out.

It's even quite hilarious that president Ouattara came into power after the previous president lost election and refused to vacate office, only for him to do two terms and then change the constitution to do a third term.

No, that's not how Christians do things. If what he did was against their law, it is the govt who should take it up, because his action hurt no one (it wasn't another person's bible he burnt, didn't burn a church or a Christian). When Muslims do it, we condemn and if a Christian does it, we should condemn it too!

It was said that he was known for causing harm to people.
So there's probability that he was killed to avenge for his past deeds or for the burning of the Bible
