The President was inaugurated on 29th May 2023 which is approximately 2 years and 2 weeks ago, and has done neither press conference nor private interviews. The US president is the most popular national leader, so I'll use him as an example: Trump holds press conferences nearly every week and even speaks to reporters inside plane, on the tarmac, at the front of the Whitehouse, etc. Buhari held just a single interview and never held any other one for the next 7½ years and we thought it was due to his poor state of memory and communication skills. President Jonathan held uncountable number of interviews, so why has APC taken our democracy and civilization back to 17th century by running the country as a monarchy where the president can only be seen receiving visitors in his offices but never answering questions from the press?? So why's a so-called "Lagos boy" shying away from holding interviews?? |
DAramis:Do you think America will continue to be America if the whole world relocates to that place? The population explosion will put unmanageable strain on govt resources, public utilities and law enforcement, don't you know?? |
Penguin2:And I thought you were an exposed person. Hotels are infrastructure projects?? |
Never happened — it was posted just to go viral. |
AqualinaXYZ:It's very normal to criticise the president as I also do, but trust me when I tell you that posting this kind of photo crosses the line, and you could be "offed" by secret agents. |
Very true. In America, cabal members run Congress and consequentially the military. |
I wonder where they conducted this their price survey, because I bought mine yesterday for ₦160k per bag. ![]() |
We've always known that. We know herdsmen have always been murderers, but it's your godfathers whom you're having political ruckus with that are fueling the current tide. |
In a country where majority of the citizenry go to the hospital with N20,000, this is a pipe dream. It's not worth it at the moment. It'll end up shutting down within a year due to low patronage, because our billionaire polithiefians who can afford it will keep on jetting to America and Europe for their medical needs. |
If what the daughter alleged is true, then it's very unfortunate and evil. |
He said he cashed out $20 instead of saying "Because I STOLE $20". ![]() |
shortgun:It's foolhardy to reveal your location online or give a hint of it, as a boasting. Many people have lost their life through that. |
armyofone:Rubbish! These things happen everywhere, probably even worse in US and Europe. Is it not stories like this that are the cause of haunted houses/places that are heavily reported in the US media?? |
When the govt is supposed to be cutting down cost of governance by initiating a hiring freeze— this man in cahoots with NASS—is creating new agencies every Friday, so as to pack in the children of big men and pay them bogus salaries while doing nothing. |
seunowa:There's nothing to get a headache about. It's very normal for the public to side with and be sympathetic to the opposition and that was exactly what Nigerians did. If PDP comes back to power today, Nigerians currently lambasting APC will also begin to be sympathetic with the APC and lash out at it if the govt is trying to persecute it. This is just a common sense thing. |
I'm impressed with how Africa was able to hold its ground and rebuff America's pressure for this man to resign about 5 years ago. |
daveP:I'm not saying he left because of the budget, I'm saying Trump may have secretly asked him to resign because Trump wasn't happy that he criticised the budget. Don't forget that Elon's job is to help the US cut down on its spending, so Elon was right to have made that comment about the budget. |
daveP:Not at all. Even though, he recently reduced his commitment at DOGE in order to have more time for his businesses, his sudden exit is most likely related to his criticism of the rubbish over-bloated budget that Trump presented to the Congress. |
He did his best, even at the risk of his business and his very life. I like that he criticised the bloated Trump budget, because how can you say you want to reduce govt budget and spending and you're now increasing defense budget which has always been a haven of waste — from $800b to a huuuuuge $1tr?? |
In other words, it's $10b this year and another one next year. I pray Argentina or Greece doesn't happen to Nigeria, because the amount of loan Buhari and Tinubu have taken within the last 10 years, is very grievous and can wreck our economy to smithereens. |
₦48b moved within 3 years and it's news?? Maybe when you tell us it's $4.8b that's when I'll shocked. |
PlasmaTV: JuanDeDios: wellmax:I prefer this. In Nigerian judiciary the case will drag on for 10 years or more and people will have forgotten about it, but this hasty demolition already gives a sense of relief and justice to everyone whilst the court case drags on. |
obataokenwa:Very true. A Governor is also free to steal my car in their capacity as governor, so that when he's finally convicted outside of office the current governor will go to jail on his behalf. ![]() |
I feel it was an arranged accident. It's more of "Since people would easily suspect us if we shoot him, let's hit his car and make sure it results into a ghastly accident." |
Very good. Let no one deceive you that it's not a big deal being a virgin (male or female) - especially from age 24 and above. It's a very biggg deal in this age of social media-enhanced fornication galore. |
If there were no army or police checkpoints we'd have been hearing how the FG has abandoned SE security, but alas people are now complaining that they now prefer criminals to run show instead of security forces keeping the peace. |
MufasaLion:Many yahoo boys fled from plum cities like Lagos, Abuja, PH (Rivers) to places like Kwara, Kaduna, Adamawa, etc, thinking EFCC's eyes are only on those cities, but the EFCC has been surprising them picking them from those states they went to hide MufasaLion:I think you're wrong—it's not a matter of lifestyle inflation not matching their environment. The EFCC uses high tech tracking system that always breaches their own 'palasa' online security, so it doesn't matter where they live — they'd still be ratted out. |
It's even quite hilarious that president Ouattara came into power after the previous president lost election and refused to vacate office, only for him to do two terms and then change the constitution to do a third term. |
Beremx:No, that's not how Christians do things. If what he did was against their law, it is the govt who should take it up, because his action hurt no one (it wasn't another person's bible he burnt, didn't burn a church or a Christian). When Muslims do it, we condemn and if a Christian does it, we should condemn it too! Psoul: Angelfrost:My post was a response to somebody that was jubilant about it. |
