"Budget of consolidation." They should not consolidate it in their pockets. |
I don't see anything wrong with it, sometimes we all need a 2nd chance in life. |
How are you posting on nairaland if you don't have any phone or money? It's most likely a guy behind this moniker. |
Fake news |
I won't even bother to read all that. Too many superstories on this Nairaland. |
He should carry a portable generator for situations like this. |
Time travel machine is showing me a resounding victory for Man Utd Man Utd 3 - 0 Burnley |
Being the richest man in the world doesn't automatically mean you know everything. People keep asking this guy for his opinions on matters way over his head as if he's supposed to know it all. |
Let's call a spade a spade. This is a silly comparison. Those homeless people in the U.S are still far better than the homeless people in Nigeria. They have homeless shelters for them, however so many of them refuse to seek refuge at the homeless shelters due to a high rate of theft and physical abuse by the residents. Also, many of them are homeless due to drug abuse and mental health issues, even when offered a place to stay, they still end up on the streets. The homeless people over there also have access to social workers who can set them up with food vouchers, health insurance, job training etc but Nigeria doesn't have that. Notwithstanding, as a Nigerian, Nigeria remains the best place to make it big in this life. Despite the numerous challenges we face, there's no place like home and it is left for us to develop it. |
Practice makes perfect, It can only get better from here but next time watch youtube videos or use the recipe you were given. Don't become like my ex who tried to cook a whole chicken inside microwave. |
Everyone likes a conspiracy theory because it's intriguing and exciting. There is no alien encounter. These Americans love stiring the pot with all these alien stuff just to get Billions in funding for NASA and also to continue selling you Hollywood movies about this stuff. Less than 5% of the oceans have been studied, for all we know, there are likely millions of unknown species living in the depth of the ocean floor that we know nothing about, meanwhile, NASA's priority is to spend billions to explore other celestial bodies. That makes no sense to me, but it's an attention-grabbing news story for the gullible. |
I will eat pounded yam with okra soup tonight |
A nice gesture. God bless her. |
The paper tiger strikes again. Russia has been irrelevant since the 1970s. Putin thinks he can bring back the old Soviet Union of its glory days, that ship sailed a long time ago. If NATO were to descend on Russia, they will be wiped off the face of the earth, but of course it will be a pyrrhic victory nobody wants. |
Are you also selling your fingers or what? |
This is evidence that we are running a puppetocracy where every politician is being stringed like a puppet or licking ass just to remain in good terms with their puppet master. Where else in the world have you seen a fellow politician kneel to the president if not in Nigeria? Now tell me, does this person have the best interest of his constituents or is he simply looking out for himself and his political career? What a shame. |
You should be a trendsetter, not a follower. Rather that invest all that time and energy in POS, why not invest in the direction commerce is going? I'm talking about digital currencies. I know the govt banned financial institutions from transacting with crypto but I doubt that ban extends to small businesses. Why not do your research on that aspect instead of this outdated and oversaturated POS business? You can also think up a way to promote the E-naira initiative and how it will benefit small business who become early adopters. I'm not much of a help, but best of luck to you. |
I'm happy for him, at least for once we have seen Nigerians rally behind a male actor. This is a welcomed development and another example that this generation will be greater than our father's generation. Kudos to all who chipped in. |
#17 Trillion Naira or a mere $29.8 billion. Heck Elon Musk paid almost half our national budget in taxes this year alone. We depend on oil so much that our future looks so bleak. Just about every car manufacturer has or is in the process of making highly efficient electric cars. You have countries all over the world proposing zero carbon emission in the next decade and we are still depending on oil. I strongly believe in my country but every day I wonder if this strong patriotism is just a façade. Countries are thinking about making hydrogen powered cars and some are thinking of creating cars that will run on recaptured CO2 in he atmosphere and here we are doing nothing to diversify our economy away from oil. When there's no one to buy our oil again, what will happen to us? Can you imagine the chaos and anarchy that will befall this country of over 160million people when a barrel of oil is less than $3? I can only hope and pray that we steer this ship into the 21st century with new and bold initiatives that will keep us relevant for the next 100yrs. |
If you want any kind of justice in this country, just pray your case goes viral otherwise you are on a long thing. This family is finally receiving some semblance of justice only because so many people on social media brought attention to the matter. That SS3 senior who made me do frog jumps for 5 hours straight is so lucky there was nothing like social media during my days, he would've been made a scapegoat. |
She should be punished for breaking the rules. Quite frankly I find all these public proposals to be very silly and attention seeking. when I proposed to my darling wife I did it inside a photo studio of which she kinda already knew it was coming so not much of a surprise there. What's the essence of proposing in front of strangers? You want them to show fake affection and say aww or what? |
This thread just wiped out 3gb of data is just loaded an hour ago. For threads like this with so much pictures, please put a warning in the heading so people can make a conscious decision to click or not. |
I have respect for Davido don't get me wrong but I'm now very convinced that his M.O is to always be in the news or trend on social media. The guy is a PR machine, he will exploit any situation just to be on the lips of Nigerians. That his recent challenge where he asked his friends to send him money for an exotic car is the finest example of being the best PR machine in Africa. First he created awareness by collecting money from people, then he praised those who donated and called out those who didn't, before we knew what was happening major news media outlets were talking about it, even CNN. Then what did he do with all that money? He donated it to charity for even more PR. In fact many people are asking him to run for presidency. But at some point this constant attention Davido is receiving obscures the shine of other artistes. For example, I mistakenly came across this guy named Rick Hassani on youtube and I was surprised by how nice his songs were. This guy has been dishing out quality songs with good lyrics, beats and rhythm but he's hardly spoken about. I think Davido's true gift isn't music, its marketing and PR; he has mastered the act of turning every situation in his life into a marketing scheme. I just wish other good musicians would get a share of the lime light. |
I'm not sure why he had to list the measurement of his penis_, contrary to what he thinks, the size of your manhood doesn't make you a man. Notwithstanding, as the CEO and founder of the #1 male escort agency in Nigeria AKA Rent-A-Cock_ we would like to let him know that we are currently hiring. |
This lady is destined for greatness and I can feel it. While her peers are on instagram and tiktok doing the wife challenge, she's tilling the soil, growing food and sustaining herself with her own hands. When she makes it on Forbes list someday, some myopic minded persons will accuse her of having a Big God. God bless you! |
It may seem absurd to have that many credit cards but its likely this man has OCD and he's only taking precautions to avoid being disappointed later on. Having 576 credit cards ensures that no matter what happens, at least one of the cards must work. This is no different from having plan A and B but this guy, like many people with obsessive-compulsive disorder, has plans A-Z with backup plans. Like my father used to say, Failing to plan, is planning to fail. They should let him go on his way, he looks innocent to me. |
With the way COVID is ravaging the whole world I think this herbal drug will do very well. We've seen the COVID virus mutate into different Greek alphabets from delta to lambda and now to omicron, before this whole thing is done with, we may be fighting all the alphabets from alpha to omega. I saulte NAFDAC for having such confidence in this locally made herb, this is the right step in the right direction. If Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and Merck can manufacture vaccines and pills for combating COVID to the tune of several billions of dollars, I don't see why we shouldn't develop ours. The world will look out for themselves before they look out for Africans. Why do you think they've been shipping almost expired vaccines to Africa? Why do you think the U.S and the rest of the developed world hoarded millions of vaccines when Africans couldn't even get any? Why do you think the rich countries are currently taking their 3rd booster vaccines while many poor countries haven't even had one let alone a booster shot? It's time we look out for ourselves and I commend NAFDAC for this development. If the big pharma companies can get emergency authorization to sell their barely tested and proven vaccines to the world, why can't we do the same with our herbs? Me and my household will be the first in line to buy the ABUAD Herbal Virucidine Liquid when it comes out. May God continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria |
So at the end of the year, they give out awards for the best food post or what? What is the purpose of this thread if not to promote gluttony and showboating? |
