I have someone in Abeokuta that is about to renew, may i know total amount to be spent for renewal there? Was it tru NIS staff or self online application. meetme01: I did mine today at Abeokuta NIS office. I paid last week and captured today. Il
For renewal
..Get a plain file. Better you buy that from those guys around.
. Collect a plain sheet from them, write an application letter (Application for Re-issue of International Passport) addressed to The PCO, Nigeria Immigration Service (Your area office)
.. Expired Passport
.. 2 passport photographs
..The acknowledgment slip
... Receipt
. Photocopy of the Data page of your expired passport
... Make photocopies of the acknowledgement slip and receipt.
Have a pen with you. There are forms you would fill
In all, make use or servicom. They are very helpful |

Please help with the link for health and care visa requirements as well as jobsites for health and others iknowexperts: The UK Tier 2 Visa is the visa you apply for if you have been offered employment in the UK.
That means one of the main requirement is that you must have a job offer before you can be granted this visa.
To boost your chances of getting a UK job offer, you can check out jobs that are classified under "Shortage Occupation."
Shortage Occupation are sectors where there is a shortage of skilled workers. So the UK makes it easier for people to get a visa when they get a "Shortage occupation" job.
These jobs range a wide degree of sectors: from engineers, web designers, medical practitioners, chefs, teachers etc.
There is also the Health and Care visa which is also under the General Tier 2 visa. Application for this visa started just on the 4th of August this year.
It makes it relatively very easy, cheap and fast for Health Practitioners to immigrate to the UK... provided they have a job offer, and they are QUALIFIED to practice in the UK.
As a side note: The UK are really in need of health workers from different professions... and they showed it in this visa.
So, in general, make sure your papers are ready (or almost ready) then you start applying for UK jobs.
When you get a job, you are issued a certificate of sponsorship that you will use and apply for a visa. Within 3 months (or within 3 weeks for Health and Care visa) you will be issued a visa. |

I intend getting the passport without NIN is this doable at Ikoyi Office? Please advice. calculator123: Festac isn't the best location for DIY. If you can, please choose Ikoyi. See UserReturn4321(sorry for the mention) post about his renewal at Ikoyi. Read some 20-30 pages back. You should find it |

@ronelds, abeg of you if you have not done biometrics, and you earn above 250k or 300k every month, your monthly expenses no reach 50k monthly, please abort from using oyinbo as invitee. If you follow procedures stated by the gurus as per their responses to you, oga i guarantee u will be given. Even if you are denied, you will write them and defend everything by quoting your docs and will be given. I am telling you from experience, please decide to book an hostel within your budget i assure you God will do it. Dont even tell oyinbo you are not using her data again. Just be silent to her as per the application so as not for her to regret y she wasted her time. I understand your reluctance of starting all over again, fear of the unknown, God's miracle but there are things that are so obvious. Please work towards your chances of issuance, dont mind the stress. Even though the process is mentally draining, kindly challenge yourself and go tru the process. Remember success is key. Its better you apply as a tourist, and use oyinbo as second option in case otherwise. This platform is life saver. My opinion might not count cos i am seeking for help here to but we cant tell whose opinion can be a saver. I adhered to all responses here no matter how minute it might seem. I wish you luck. giselle237: If you want to cancel the application, you will receive full refund as long as you have not gone for biometrics. This is true. |

Thanks so much for this. LoyalRoyalty: You don't need to do anything special. Present a well packaged application like you did in your first application and pay for the duration you want your visa to be valid for. |

Lol. No problem, I understand. giselle237: Honourable Minister issokay. Ok ‘their wahala’ taken back. I don’t know anything at all sef as I am not an ECO. Your money. My wahala. My wahala please. But truth is no matter how anybody sings anything on this thread, what I noticed is that most people still do what they intend. To them is their cross to bear. Even if it’s fire, most people on this thread still say no. I will do what I want.
That was the reasoning behind all dt Kindly dont take any prt of my statement to heart. My statement in quote was not in total reference to you but to what was already building up... Gulf war was about to start on this issue. |

@safiguy4u, @loyalroyalty can you please help with any other reason I can state in the application which might suffice for applying for 2 or more years? Please note i was given 6months recently but didn't use due to pandemic. My only reason shooting for 2years is it's painful paying another 6months which i did earlier and I intend having multiple entry to visit for vacation and sightseeing. Or rather give me a link I can refer to where they already addressed my type of request as giselle mentioned. I know some people im my category will benefit from this. |

@giselle, please there is a way you can address an enquiry without an insult, you should have ignored. You are someone i respected. Please dont say their money their wahala. No one knows it all. I believe you can't tolerate that crap. I asked due to the pandemic which was the cause of not using the 6months visa which no one as ever experienced before. Please dish out what you can take. giselle237: Please let’s not go into this matter again, it has been trashed several times even in this part 4. If anyone decides to apply for even 10 years visa on first trial without having some factors in place, then let them go ahead. Their money. Their wahala. |
