CareerWhat Are The Best Habits That Can Change My Life QUICKLY? by Researchclue(op): 11:53am On Feb 03, 2020
www.researchclue.com
What Are the Best Habits that Can Change My Life QUICKLY?

1. Change Your Social Environment.

2. Keep a Time Journal.
A time journal is just a journal in which you write all your activities and how much time they take. The more specific you are about the kind of activity you’ve done and about the amount of time it took, the better it will work.

3. Use Your Personal Mission Statement.
You need to first create one, and this process itself is enriching and worth habitualizing.

4. Journaling.
A huge part of personal mission statement creation is answering some deeply insightful questions about yourself and your life. I did that on paper and can hardly imagine doing it any other way.
Self-reflective journaling can change your life. You stop putting with bullshit in your mind and put your thoughts on paper. You cannot escape into excuses, writing clarifies your thought processes and you immediately recognize excuses for what they are.

5. Gratitude Journaling.
Every morning write down three new things you are grateful for.
Gratitude rewires human brain into positivity. In the term of human lifespan it works really quickly. Using the above method researchers found that 30-day practice is enough to create a lasting habit.
Of course, there are slim chances your life will change in those first 30 days, but you WILL change and that’s all you need to change your life.

Career100-year-old Advice For Entrepreneurs Today by Researchclue(op): 9:38am On Jan 30, 2020
100-Year-Old Advice For Entrepreneurs Today

www.researchclue.com

1: Value Your Zone of Genius
Have you ever felt or thought something like this?
“I would do it for free; so it feels weird to charge someone for it!”
“Can’t everyone do this? It’s so easy for me!”
When something comes so naturally to us and we love doing it, it DOESN’T mean that everyone can do it; it means that it’s very likely our Zone of Genius, and it is the very thing it would be wise to double-down on offering and charging for.
Have you found yourself saying these same things? How have you overcome them, or how will you begin to shift them now?

#2: If he can do it, so can you
You’ve heard people say this before about themselves, right? Things like, “I’m a millionaire, but I’m just like you. If I can do it, so can you.”
Charles Steinmetz actually LIVED this through his actions in an amazingly tangible way.
A German immigrant who was almost denied entry to the US at Ellis Island because he was a 4-foot-tall dwarf “with a hump in his back and a crooked gait,” he went on to be an extremely influential scientist.
I think often we assume that when we see super-successful people, we make assumptions that they had some kind of “leg up” (to use a horse term) that we didn’t, or our brains just try to categorize the big differentiator for their success and dismiss that it’s possible for me (like they got in at the right time, are well-connected, have family money, are prettier, etc.)
Have you found yourself with excuses or playing small, or are you showing up every day making the most of — and allowing yourself to be well-compensated for — what makes YOU one-of-a-kind?

3: Focus on your biggest dream
What Charles wanted most, he found a way to have.
Steinmetz was one of the great scientific minds of the 20th century. He also loved kids and wanted his own family, but chose not to marry because the deformity that made him a dwarf with a hump in his back and an uneven gait was congenital, and he was afraid he’d pass it along.
And, as this Smithsonian article shares, it pained him deeply to see children, like the ones he wanted so much, run away in fear at the sight of him, he chose to do his work, do it well, and be open to the possibility of how family might come to him…eventually choosing to adopt and have an extended family that way.

CareerThe 3 Ps To An Income-replacing Business by Researchclue(op): 10:12am On Jan 29, 2020
www.researchclue.com
The 3 Ps to an Income-Replacing Business

1. PERSONALITY
Lots of times when we’re starting out or struggling in business, we compare ourselves to others, telling ourselves (and maybe others) things like:
“If I was more extroverted, this would be so much easier for me.”
“I wish I was more organized (or more spontaneous).”
“If I could just do or have what XYZ person has, then it would be so much easier for me to succeed.”
Not only are none of those thoughts helpful, but they’re very likely not even true!

Why?
Because you have your own superpowers, built right into your own personality!

Do you know what they are?
My favorite tool for discovering them is the Myers-Briggs Type Indicators (MBTI), which I’m certified in and have used for over a decade both personally and with my clients, to bring clarity, help understand why we do what we do (and it’s not because we’re crazy!), and make aligned choices that are going to create a sustainable, profitable, exciting business.
Knowing your personality informs the way(s) it makes the most sense to build your business, both in choosing strategies and also in knowing what’s going to give you energy so that you keep showing up for it, rather than choosing a strategy because someone said it was the right/new/hot one.

2. PREFERENCES
Preferences are choices you get to make about what you WANT your business and life to look like, based on the way you like to work and feel.
Some tangible examples:
-Do you want to work from home, coffee shops, or a co-working space?
-How many clients would you like to be working with at one time?
-What’s your preferred way to get visible & market your offerings?
-What do you want your schedule to look like?
When is the best time of day for you to get specific types of work done (like creating or project work vs. client work)?
None of these have answers that are right or wrong, but having clarity on what YOU prefer makes building a business so much easier — AND it sets you up for creating something you’re actually going to enjoy continuing to work for the long-term.

Often this stems from a common underlying belief that it has to be hard or look a certain way (which is totally normal because that’s what we’ve been taught as employees — to fit in a box, that work has to be hard, that being successful requires working 80+ hours per week!).

The more you ask yourself what YOU prefer and develop the belief that if you:
Want to work in your pajamas every day
Bring in clients just by writing (instead of needing to be on video, or Twitter, or going to in-person networking events)
Dream of leveraging your efforts to work part-time…
…then you CAN, the more likely you are to move toward and create exactly that.

Start with the easy things you may already know — like where and how much you want to work —then begin working through the stuff that you either don’t know or you haven’t given much thought to, in order to gain clarity on your true preferences.

3. PASSIONS
If we’re not keyed into our passions, WHAT we love doing, and WHY we love doing it, then what is even the point of doing the work of starting a business?

If we’re not setting ourselves up to do more enjoyable work that matters, using the passions we’ve been given, then honestly, we might as well just phone it in at a job, know what I’m saying?

So, please, prioritize identifying your passions.
Here are some examples of my passions, to get you started:
I love writing. Always have, whether writing for projects, writing to make sense of my world, or consuming writing (aka reading wink to learn.
I’m passionate about connecting with, encouraging and inspiring people to live their dreams, especially (as an introvert!)1:1 and small groups

Designing simple strategies and implementable, easy-to-take action steps to help my community and clients reach their income-replacing goals
