Vinsmuft: Please I have a question. During my assessment, ACS cut down my number of years of experience. Now when submitting EOI, I was asked to provide my employment details from start date to end date. Do I use the cut down version from ACS or do I put in the actual period of my employment details. Thanks! Please make sure you cut it down. Provide all employment details, but ONLY tick as relevant the years approved by ACS.. If not, be sure your application will be refused as you'll be making a Bogus Claim.. Claim only years indicated on outcome. |

seyewest: Can we move on from this passport palaver.. I spoke with an officer at the Immigration Office and he said if you have exit and entry stamp on your passport it will not be collected unless you want them to have it. Your international passport is your evidence of travel history and if you have a valid visa on your passport will you leave it with Nigeria Immigration even if there's no visa stamp on it... you can still use it as an ID and use it for local flights in the country... I'm not accusing you of anything because it's fishy if they have to collect your expired passport with entry and exit stamp on it because there goes your evidence of your travel to those country which means it's not admissible and it's misrepresentation... I don't care about where you've been or what you do... if we can't accept reason on this thread we will lose our credibility maybe this is the reason why @LagosNIV did not bother with this issue. NB By the way I did not call you criminal I questioned why you leave your passport with them. No quarrels.. But please retract the fishy part it hurts when one is accused falsely. I'm 100% sure nothing is fishy about retrieving a passport. It's happened to my mom like I said before and thank God someone else confirmed that. You shouldn't blame Faith111 but Nigeria immigration for their inconsistencies. They ought to retrieve from everyone or let everyone have theirs. |

getostar: A diplomatic passport holder shouldn't be on this thread. The essence of the 'cancelled without prejudice' is to render the document void. There has never being a time such document is retrieved..(had to reconfirm from someone that did a renewal for the family in december). My advice is for the affected person to go back to the office and retrieve it....except of course it was seized for other reasons. Did the family you are talking about have a valid visa in the passport? If yes then maybe that is why it was returned to them. My mom's expired passport was retrieved and wasn't seized. So I understand what this person is talking about. I took her there myself and it wasn't only my mom's they retrieved. I am 100% sure.. How can passport office seize a passport and then give you a new one is it logical Please if your old passport without visa was returned to you recently after renewal signify so I can storm the passport office for my mom's passport. I nor understand this kind Nigeria again |

seyewest: So where's the proof you have been to those places? What if the V.O ask for evidence of travel? I'm not trying to attack you just pointing out the fact that it makes no sense leaving your passport with Nigerian Immigration. What she said is true. My mom's expired passport was taken from her at Ikoyi passport office recently. Though she didn't have valid visas in them. |

jamson: IOM is the bomb. They are very organised and friendly. Paid N42,800 for myself and same for wifey. Xray join for the money ooo. Not so with Fatayi Williams where I think there is an extra charge of 5k for Xray plus the stress of going to St Nicholas. Meanwhile, IOM is along Isaac John Ikeja while the other is on the Island.
You can alternatively use monumaemeze@iom.int Thanks for this info. Please do you have an idea on the bill for children? |

jukeblam: After putting in your EOI, you get the ITA; then you can frontload your medicals before submitting your visa application.
If you are in Lagos, seems IOM Clinic at Isaac John street is a quicker option now for medicals, as you can get the x-ray done at same location.
For PCC, make sure you don't pass the 5k/head mark (infact 4k/head- forex rates no dey affect PCC). Please do you have an idea how much they bill children. Thanks for this info. Every kobo counts in this season. |

mctowel01: ET might even get filled up by April or may.. Currently, you need like 70 points to stand a chance this fiscal year. No one knows if it will be removed. Many occupations have been flagged for over 3 years now. There is no certainty, but in my opinion, it will still be there. Thanks for the insight We'll make hay while the sun shines. #Pte mode activated #Success loading #70 points inevitable #ITA issued #Grant (Visa) Granted . Thank You Jesus. |

You'll have to buy USD and load your Domiciliary account. Current parallel market rate is #492=$1 1Usd=1.35Aud So 1Aud=#364.444. 1Aud~#365 in the parallel market. |

Phlunter01: Dear all,
Happy new year. I pray that this year all our heart's desires will be granted by God's grace. I hv been quiet for a while and all thanks to my University that has been on strike since Oct 2016. I already hv 65 points since October oh. The challenge is that I hv not been able to complete my assessment with vetassess since the school has not sent the transcript to them. The strike is still on with no end date in view. Vetassess keeps threatening me with mails that they will close the case and I will hv to pay again and start afresh. I have called and appealed for an extension again after the 30 days I was previously given. Note that all other required documents for my assessment hv been sent to vetassess since Oct 13, 2016 and payment made for full assessment. Please anyone should advise on anything I can do.
@mamajaz , baby landed Jan 1 oh.... Congrats on your Newborn. |

iceberg54: No one knows when the ceiling will be full. I think it's almost 800/1000 at the moment. Why not do PTE ASAP. It's still January and you should be invited soon with 70 points. You don't wanna wait till after July and then it gets removed from SOL. The way these people are changing laws anyhow, nothing must be taken for granted and time is of essence. OK. Preparing for pte already. Thanks |

mctowel01: 70 is okay for ET if the points can be gotten before the ceiling gets full. OK. Do you have an idea of when it's ceiling will be reached? Secondly, it is a flagged occupation. Isn't it likely that it will be removed from the Sol by July? |

Good morning all, we decided to accept the ET outcome instead of applying for an informal review and garner 20 points from PTE-A. We are currently on 50points without English test. So we would have a total of 70 points with 20 points from Pte. Please do you guys think the required point to get ITA for ET based on the prorata thread will go above 70 |

sweettease: For parents who aren't Irish or British citizens like in the case of Seyi Law and his wife, the child can only become a citizen if the parent(s) have a genuine link in Ireland and have stayed in the country for 3 out of the last 4 years. So you can't just go there to deliver and return to your country and expect your child to automatically become a citizen. Same with Australia. US is really lenient. |

Happy New Year all.
A quick update.... We got an outcome of ET instead of Telecom Field Engineer. Assessor's reason being that we hold a Bachelor in Engineering degree and therefore ET is the suitable option for our degree and not Associate. This was done without even seeking our opinion.
We called the help desk and we were told to send an e-mail to EA. We have sent a mail to EA stating that we made enquiries from them and we were given a nod before lodging our application. We are currently awaiting their response. Please has anyone called EA for a review before? |

Bosayo: Oga Bellong please I have a question regarding dependents that can be included in my application.
I have a 13year old brother that is living with him and I cater for all his needs. I read on a web that it will be possible for me to include him.
I just want to verify if this will be possible as there is no one else he can stay with in Nigeria.
Thanks again Not any more. You can no longer add siblings or parents. Strictly nuclear family now. |

I encourage ladies to be decent. It saves you a whole lot of headache from heartbreaks, unwanted pregnancy, abortion, STDs, blackmail, etc. There's nothing as good as walking into marriage a clean slate |

AprilSmallWoman: there are GIRLS out there that have vowed never to give out their virginity before marriage, it all depends on integrity, determination and mindset. I will gladly hold on to my virginity than giving it up for mere pressure or anything aside marriage. its not being easy but waiting this long (25yrs) just a few more months to the d-day, I'll still hold myself, it must be the wedding night Thumbs up swtty. I kept myself amidst pressure of whatever sort from secondary school through the UNI and I'm glad I did. There is PRIDE in one's VIRGINITY. Its a precious pearl for Only the Most important guy in one's World I.e Ur HUBBY... If he thinks I'm worth the Altar, then he must be worth the Hymen.... I tell ladies that they are too good to be taste and drop. Imagine a stray guy getting the best of you and the Man who pays your dowry drowning in a pool. So Sad |
