A friend of mine lives in Lekki and on expiration of his yearly rent, he begged the Landlord that due to hard times, he has half year rent and offered a postdated cheque for the balance but the Landlord got angry and began insulting him and told him to quit his house at the end of his half year rent. To buttress his point, he issued a 6 month backdated notice terminating on the expiration of the half year rent.

The proof that the notice was backdated is that the date on the notice is earlier than the date he paid the Landlord the half year advance as this is traceable because he said he paid in cheque..

What should he do as a tenant in this case??

Please can you do me a favor Oga bellong and all other seniors in Australia? I have to apply for informal review of my EA outcome in the next few days and it requires I post the application with a bank draft in Aud.

1) Banks said they don't raise draft in Aud but USD so I can't make such payments from here.

2) Post offices I've gone to said they can't meet the deadline.

Please can anyone help me raise the draft and post the form to EA within Australia? I could pay the $A286 in naira or transfer the money to the person.

I studied medical laboratory science ( it is on the CSOL and SOL list) and the assessing body (AIM) require that I send my documents for review after which if successful i'll be graded as medical lab technician and then invited to write an exam to be upgraded to medical lab scientist. ( the only venue for the exam in Africa is South Africa and I don't have that kind of funds). My questions are:
1.Medical Lab technician is on the CSOL list and the northern territory is sponsoring it.. Do I apply as a medical lab technician and if visa is successful. Write the exams in Australia to upgrade me to medical laboratory scientist?

Yes.. I think you can apply as MLT if you can't take the exams now.

Result of IELTS of 4th March, 2017 have just been released. I had a near perfect score which recently expired. Surprisingly, my scores in this latest test is unbelievable, it is ridiculous. How can one go from LRWS 8/9/8/8.5 to 7/6.5/7/6.5 in just about 2 years? Please note that I lived in the UK for the better part of those 2 year period. "I'm not understanding".
Is someone there cooking up scores? If that is the case then IELTS in Nigeria is a scam.

Your result is valid for 3years for this purpose not 2years.

Nice write up. But getting a good caregiver remains the most challenging aspect in this day and time unless you have a mother who can supervise her. I'm talking from experience.
These nannies can be deadly. They do something else when not supervised. Imagine my Nanny not even measuring the quantity of water before adding formula even after series of lectures.
I know of a Banker who lost her baby to her Nanny's carelessness.

Please be careful everyone... Last week God saved my entire family from diarrhoea after we drank pure water.
We ran out of water and bought pure water and drank. I noticed the water had odour. Hours after, it was a drama to behold. If not for God, it would have been fatal.
I think the problem is some of this pure water manufacturing companies do not treat their water properly these days as a way to reduce production costs due to the high forex rate.

My advice is, if you must buy Pure Water, only buy from a company that manufactures Bottle water too as they treat their water better than those that manufacture Pure water only.

It's shameful that Nigeria Government has failed to provide jobs for Graduates which has led a lot of them doing unskilled jobs.
Let's talk about becoming Entrepreneurs in our field of study through gaining work experience and Not celebrating the fact that our Graduates are becoming Trades men and women, Carpenters, welders, taxi drivers and in fact puff Puff sellers. Our parents were never handed those kind of jobs after graduation in their days. I was told they had 2 good offers to choose from with a car gift.

Why is our case different Things are obviously not right. I rest my case
