In the past the spirits that speaks to people are demons and they use the names of local Gods commonly known to those they're calling but after Jesus' name became so popular this demons have changed their operations as they now speak to people in the names commonly found in the Bible. 2Corinthians 11:14

One thing is sure after Jesus commissioned the group he sent to preach and teach people throughout the globe he couldn't start going to individuals again to speak with such ones in person for that would contradict his own words as he said whoever rejected his disciples will be rejected in the day of judgement {Matthew 10:11-15} moreover the speaking to people who has no interest in the words written in the Bible is tantamount to partiality if Jesus sends his disciples to preach and someone rejected them but he himself spoke with another as a spirit and that one accepted, why not go on speaking to everyone?

Some may argue that Jesus spoke to Paul but one thing they failed to realize is that Paul was a student of the scriptures who so much love God's word right from his childhood he so much love God's word that he doesn't even have time for women that's why Jesus showed him mercy. But today you will even see harmed robbers, fraudsters, hired killers, ritualists and so on all claiming Jesus spoke to them.

Well if they don't know the truth let them know that Jesus didn't speak with anyone who is not an Israelite during his life time unless the person go to him for help and after his ascension to heaven he remained as a spirit person working with his disciples to locate those who has the love of God not just anyone!

so you know that demons exist but you don't know that it has taken a stronghold of you.

Its really unfortunate. The compound I was living during my NYSC in 2011 in Lagos. Just remembered and called was gisting with some of them still there.
