I have never been a fan of even the so called posting of "real transcripts".
Do applicants really need other people's success or failure stories to know their own fate? A genuine applicant in my opinion is the one who is relaxed has good intention and is not worried about the outcome. Just going there to say the truth and see how it goes.

Whether it is interview for work, visas (visas if necessary), police interrogation etc i find mock interview sessions as an easy way out for people who are not serious and lack that self confidence that they can handle any questions truthfully and of course confidently

The staff of the section were not allowed to leave work with their gadgets on that day, SaharaReporters understands.

Attempts to confirm the report from staff of the embassy proved abortive, as two staff contacted by SaharaReporters both declined to comment, saying all staff had been vehemently warned not to utter a word on it. Even the Public Relations Department of the embassy would make no comment on it as well, we were told.

“This is such a strange occurrence,” the source said. “If I wasn’t educated, I would doubt this ever happened. What on earth would you sprinkle power on the inside pages of your passport. Nigeria already has a high US visa rejection rate; I suspect it is about to get even worse.”

SaharaReporters refrained from formally contacting the embassy for an official reaction, for fear it would offer the embassy a slim chance of tracking down the source, seeing one of the staff who declined to talk had said: “The embassy is extremely determined to keep this under wraps; if I talk to you, I am 90% sure I would be found out and that means I lose my job.”

The US is one of the most coveted countries by Nigerians. According to the U.S. Department of State, more than 163,000 immigrant and non-immigrant visas were issued to Nigerians between March 2017 and January 2018.

The embassy announced the shutdown in a statement on its website on Tuesday — a day after one of its staff opened a passport for processing and discovered a sizeable portion of powder in it. The development sparked huge concerns about the potential damage to the staff member who opened the substance, and to others who may have been exposed to the substance.

A highly placed diplomatic source who confirmed the story to SaharaReporters said the embassy shut down the section to test the powder and to quarantine staff of the section.

I Remember as a kid, my whole street gathered to watch a truck deliver a very large satellite dish to my neighbour's house. Today a dish one tenth that size delivers 5 times the value and is in almost every student's room.

What about the Volkswagen Santana, Mercedes Benz V boot, 505Evolution, Toyota Crown, all overtaken by latest models of Camry, Honda, Bugatti, Bentley, X6, Acura and Infinity... Vanity!

Some ladies left their true loves cos some rich guy then persuaded them with a Benz 190, which turned out to be the only car they ever owned till date. They found out too late that true love is invaluable.

There is absolutely nothing you can't achieve. All you need is a little time and PATIENCE and you would thank God without regrets. There is actually nothing in this world that is worth dying for, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

For the past weeks now, she hasn't been her usual self.

She's been married for three years and never has she felt so disconnected from her husband as she has in these recent weeks.

Slight repulsion.

Budding distaste.

Insipidity.

Bland efforts at affection.

Something wasn't right, she knew it and silently hoped her husband hadn't noticed.

But he had, he felt the same way.

Sometimes she notices him staring at her as she lays on the couch.

She catches him stealing glimpses at her while she prepares for work.

And she,

Sometimes recently wakes at night and abhorrently looks at him while he sleeps.

They hadn't quarrelled.

No disagreements.

But somehow, they just don't communicate the way they normally do.

In her heart are several questions;

Why did I marry him?

Is he the best for me?

I don't like the way he snores or Chew his food.

Sometimes he talks too much.

He's not as handsome as I even thought.

And in his own conflicting thoughts he asks;

What was I thinking?

Imagine big tummy, she's not even doing enough to take care of her body.

Her food is most times salty.

And without her makeup she's not different from other women.

Is she really the best for me?

At this point, love which is the fire of all unions has waned.

It's there still, but not as much as it was and used to be.

It is at this point that you're needed to be responsible, committed and true to the sanctity of marriage.

For it's not a bus which you could ride and when bored, alight.

Believe me, love doesn't keep a union.

It starts it and leaves it at the mercy of tolerance, forgiveness, commitment.

It is at this point that most marriages fail.

It is at this very point, when the union isn't as tasty as it once was, that anger comes in, nagging becomes the order of the day, tempers flare, and you find it difficult to tolerate.

But this is the point where you both should hold your hearts in check and love with your head.

The point where you must strive, for marriage is work.

Every union goes through this.

And unfortunately most crack at this phase.

But it's very necessary, for gold endures the test of fire to be made whole and pure.

And this is and would continue as a result of REVULSION - the gradual or sudden change of affection from a deep feeling of love to intense repugnance, disgust and withdrawal.

He had seen her in a nice restaurant, which newly opened in town.

His wife.

And a male stranger.

It was afternoon and he had left the office to go have lunch, and decided he would make a stop at this new restaurant, for it seemed comely.

When he walked in and saw his wife with this stranger, it wouldn't have mattered to him, if not for the manner in which they sat.

She hadn't before shown any sign of promiscuity, he hadn't noticed any.

But he just cannot downplay the glaring apparency of this stranger's hand on his wife's thighs.

He stood for long minutes, lost in thought, until she turned and saw him.

He said nothing.

He did nothing.

He only moved to the counter, ordered his meal as a takeaway and walked out.

Back at the office, a plethora of thoughts besieged his mind.

Could it be's.

Has it been's.

Does it mean's.

He kept from calling her and also from losing his grip on sanity.

Maybe it's nothing.

Maybe it's just a case of 'things are never the way they seem.'

When he got home, she was in the room, eyes absent of readable emotion.

He walked in and said hi.

Tried everything within his powers to keep from looking her in the eye.

He had his bath.

His meal.

And went to the sitting room to play with their young daughter.

First day. He didn't mention or talk about anything as regards what transpired at the restaurant.

Second day.

One week.

One week three days.

Then she got scared.

Fidgety.

Uneasy.

Fretful.

How could he not have asked.

What is he thinking.

And for the most eccentric of reasons she hadn't bothered explaining.

He still didn't accost her.

He would come home.

Eat his meal.

Talk with her, albeit shallowy.

Sleep on the same bed with her and leave for work.

Then it continued for two weeks, until one day she couldn't hold it in anymore, so she broke down in tears.

He listened to her talk.

And as she sobbed, she said.

"Forgive me babe. I didn't know what came over me. The man you saw me with was my long time lover, before he left the country and we lost touch for years.

It was at that time that we met and you asked for my hand entwined in yours in the journey of matrimony.

He returned two weeks ago and when I got wind of that, I realized somethings just don't change, not easily. For I like him still.

I ask your pardon.

I am sorry, forgive me hun.

I initially didn't explain or try to beg, for I wanted you to hit me, to violently accost and abuse me, to give me reasons to leave home, to go to him.

That was a cruel thing to do.

But I just realized I don't know what I have in you.

Forgive me. Whatever name you call this which I have done, please forgive me.

I spoke to him yesterday and asked him never to reach me again for I am married."

And when she was done.

Still sobbing like a child.

Something moved in him.

And you know what that is?

Understanding and Compassion.

The society says this is the only way a long distance relationship can work.but will u rather let yours go this way...you can make yours work .

Infidelity shouldn't be the order of the day.
This sometimes leads to partners bathing each other with acid or taking their lives just because of all they have invested in such relationship.

Infact you will see both women and men advising one another to date other persons pending wen other partner joins them.


But one should always remember ones vow.. respect your vow be faithful to each other, this will save you from many things , like

Lets settle this cheating in relationships matter.

Cheating is when a guy (lady) finds another girl’s (guy) company more interesting than mine(that is where it starts from), when a guy is drifting into another space.

Although from what we see on social media it seems men cheat more but women also cheat so cheating isn’t gender specific.

You can’t totally guard against cheating cos it seems when you try too much that is when your partner cheats. Maybe praying about it might help or just be vulnerable, get hurt, learn from it, move on, love again and the cycle continues. But for me, once you betray the trust then it's over, it's goodbye.

Highly emotional people can easily tell when their partner is cheating cos to them relationships/marriages is all or nothing so they can easily tell when the love is diluted. for married couple always do your best to honour your vow.
