Few days ago i posted this topic hoping to get proper guidance as it is my first car., but none came. Well, I have started d process but I am being told that I can't get d proof of ownership cos FRSC website is down for upgrade and it may take up to 3 weeks to come up. For experienced drivers here, that is d most important document and u know how Nigeria police be. My question now is, is it really true that FRSC website is down and if yes how long will it take to come up. Thanks in advance |

People should just understand that there are somethings u can't change, accept it and move on. Also don't try to compare ourselves with others cos life is not a race track. Often times we are our own problem. Take life as it is. Las las, we all die someday. |
This topic is born out of an experience I had years ago and lying down on my bed I just thought to share cos someone may be learn from it. In 2007, around September I guess, while waiting for nysc call up, d time was past 5pm on that fateful day, I got a call from my younger brother who was 17 years at that time that I should meet him around a popular junction and he sounded hysterical. I had just got back from and errand my dad sent me on and I was tired, but somehow I had this rush to go out, immediately, I jumped into d car I had come with without telling my parents where I was heading for. The way I left, got them worried. In less than 5 mins I was with my brother. Lo and behold a lady not more than 33 years of age was holding him by d shirt and that my brother should provide her gold necklace that he had stolen from her. While all this was going on, a crowd has started to gather, d moment I got there, I didn't ask what was happening, I went straight to d woman and ask her to leave his shirt. Which she did, I guess my sudden appearance from no where startled her, thinking I was a policeman and I immediately whisked my brother to d car, I quickly gave d lady my fathers name and I drove off in frightening speed. Back home my parents were apprehensive as to d way I left and before they will know it I had gotten back home with my brother and I narrated to them all that happened. My parents and I then asked my brother what happened, he told us that himself and his girlfriend had gone to d city center to buy some things and coming back they took an intra city bus. They were d first set of passengers and afterwards, d woman entered of course he was sitting close to d woman. Few junctions to our own junction, d woman raised an alarm that her gold necklace is missing, my brother paid little attention to her and continued discussing with d girlfriend. As other people where asking d woman about it that was when she said she suspected that it is my brother that took it. Moments later, d woman came to our house in d company of some boys, they demanded for my brother, my father calmly told them to wait let us hear from d woman, she narrated her story and my brother narrated his. My father simply asked d woman to properly search her bag and purse and if she is sure it is not on her and that his son has taken it he will pay two folds. Funny enough as d woman opened her purse d necklace was sitting right there. Immediately she knelt down and started begging that she actually took it to wear it never knew she didn't. My dad just told her one thing that I will never forget in my life. My father said that if his eldest son had not reacted quickly maybe his younger son would have been killed for something he knew nothing about. The rest is now history. I had to bring this story up, cos of some alleged cases of theft, kidnapping and so on that may not be true example is d one that happened in Kaduna recently. Sometimes these people may just be victims of circumstances. Good morning. |
This is vendetta. |
A house built on falsehood will definitely crumble someday. |
Good morning people, I know there are car experts on this forum, so I need help in d form of advice in buying a family ride. I am confused between picking a sienna (2000 model) and a Benz wagon of same year for family use. Plz will appreciate if anyone can give me tips on what to expect in terms of fuel economy, gear maintenance and traction issues and also what are d like parts that will always wear up fast irrespective of usage. Thanks as I await ur response. |
them don dey warm up to blame PDP for anoda 4 years. the suppose abacha loot nkor when uk return wetin happen to am? make una continue to dey play blame games one day monkey go go market him no go return. my only regret na d people wey still dey believe these set of lies. |
truthfulparrot:my thoughts exactly. I told someone lately, that every other region should forget about presidency cos d north won't want to relinquish it. |
I served as a youth Corp member in this very town. They have very fine ladies and men they are quite peaceful and loving but equally resolute when they make a decision. Mind u that town is locked down to PDP. Abet where is my phone make I call my people there to know d update as per that local government. |
Tetehjewels:d op raised some point which he expect u to counter but like all apc zombies, u resulted to insult. |
So becos of election, we no go stake our 150 odds games. Bet9ja must pay. |
I see so many pro APC comparing suspension of d cjn and that of cbn governor. I will ask a question and I want honest answers. Who does d cbn governor report to? And who does d cjn report to? Let us thinks critically and stop playing politics with everything. Time will definitely tell and I pray when it does we will not be victims of miscarriage of justice. |
He mentioned I don't see any roads from the esan west axis, or are there no bad roads there. Selective govt. |
it's not his day |
Corrinthians:i wonder how u people reason and what u determine as good governace. When other nations are looking for ways to be technologically, scientifically relevant u are here clapping for a monument as an achievement. Man ur mumuness has no comparison. |
This is Nigeria where everybody na criminal. Imagine a president buying a certificate just to cling to power. U may call it re issue but i can bet u that this certificate is oluwole. Mind u, the same technology used in printing naira notes is d same technoly that is used to produce waec certificate. It is either waec has been compromised or u know d rest. |
CreepyBlackpool:oga working a job is not a form of slavery. Whether d pay is good or not, d first thing u should consider is freedom in all aspect when doing that job. U seem to forget, that if d op dies or anything worse happens to her, that job will still continue. Sumtimes, we have to get to d very edge so that we can fly. |
I have always wondered y our police here in Nigeria dont have anti riot dept with these kind of equipment. All we see is both d police and soldiers dispensing live ammunitions on unarmed civilians. Chai who swear for nigeria like this. |
No mind dis yeye coach. E just dey make us punters dey loose anyhow.. |
That's no accident some lectures can be mean in their attitude towards students. I was very furious to ask one a simple question one day while I was taking a younger cousin of mine to do some registration, I asked him if there were no students in dat school, where does he think he will be and 2 if he was tired of d job he should quietly resign instead of passing his frustrations at some innocent students.he was just looking at me and left without saying a word. Months later, we met in a drinking bar After I had ordered a free round for him, I reminded him who I was and where we met and what happened. And I told him life is one small place. |
Y dis is a good move, the bank's and firs should be ready for serious litigation. By the way what is d tax paid even used for in this country? |
In a sane country, the heads of all d military formations would have voluntarily resigned for these gross inefficiencies on their part. But in my country it will never happen cos d so-called president is not prepared to do the needful by changing personal because he is a bigot and nepotistic. I weep for my country ![]() |
