kenevision: A Little Introduction
Hello guys, I have been a member of this forum for quite a while now, and I believe I should give back to this platform by way of sharing my ideas. Perhaps someone might find it beneficial.
As a way of introduction, and as you may have rightly guessed from the title of my thread; I GOT A SHENGHEN VISA ON A VIRGIN PASSPORT. I had never traveled out of Nigeria before, but I have always wanted to. I had never entered a plane before, or even came to entering one, well apart from the AIR PLANE MODE OF MY ANDROID PHONE. In my 30s, and I was yet to dis-virgin my international travel life.
I would spend days reading about travel stories from around the world. I would spend hours on Nairaland travel section digesting the countless travel stories and experiences members shared. And when I felt down and depressed about how low we have fallen as a nation; how irredeemably bad living standard has become, and how lives are lost in droves fueled by the silence of the political elites; I would go to Explorers profile and read about the interesting developments around the world. Then I say to myself, “This world is a beautiful place, all hope is not lost!”
I wanted to see the beautiful world out there. I wanted to cross the boundaries of our country and see people of other races. I wanted to see how they live, how they work, what they eat, how they dress, how they love or un-love, their approach to certain issues of life and so on. If I could, I would have done a trip to Ghana, just to satisfy my curiosity, but my bank account strictly advised me not to cross River Niger . Oh, I live at the East.
So I kept waiting and believing GOD.
Then opportunity presented itself for a trip to Austria, Europe. I was to attend a particular event in Austria. My friend over there sent me invitation letters from the organization organizing the event.
And then the visa processing started; schengen visa on a virgin passport .
NB : What I will be sharing here are my personal experiences during the course of my travel. Should you not entirely agree with the information I put forward here, just understand that I am writing from my view and experience as a virgin traveler. please bro where did you get your flight itinerary for the visa application? and how much did you get it please. it's urgent. |

Ugosample: I'm glad yiu have the experience
Travelling opens your mind to so many things.
Its my best hobby.
You learn new languages, try new food, New music etc yeah like my first too it was indeed an eye opener. flying was awesome mehn , sat beside a Nigeria man who said he's has been flying since 1972 or so when he was a kid with his father . meanwhile I confessed it was my first time , I was stupid for not asking for his contact. |

Ugosample: I'll tell you this it pains my heart to tell you this as well, because I'm an Igbo petson , but it's the truth
Our society glamourises and glorifies wealth tooo much, and puts excess pressure on the boys to "make it"
That's the problem I agree with u bro ... too bad tho |

englishmart: Disappointed about what? I use to tell people who care to listen, that Mourinho is a terrible coach. A coach that can't raise young talents? A coach who prefers players in their late 20s, so he will use them at their prime, maybe 2-3 seasons, destroy the club, and leave. mourinho and young talent ke, guy no get time to wait to see them grow o like u said older players with strength like concrete cement nahim mourinho like o |

Iammercy2018: and some of them are spoiling the name of Nigeria out there, not trying to discredit Igbos, no doubt they work hard but I've just stated the obvious truth, most of them are spoiling our name outside of Nigeria..
I've been to almost 20 out of the 53 countries in Africa, in each country when I introduce myself as a Nigerian there will be one person to tell me a story about a Nigerian guy around that neighborhood that has done something bad and the names that pops up are names from the East. it's sad. imagine why always them out there ? like peak milk its in them ehn |

Travel › Re: Is Ethiopian Airlines Into Fraud? by Rexnegro(m): 2:08am On Aug 09, 2018 |
SageTravels: I disagree with you. there are super agents in Nigeria that have the money to buy aircraft seats as many as they want and then resell it to any amount. I know many of them e.g Wakanow, Finchglow, travelstart.
see attached. sorry I used my phone.
The first is from a travel agency in Nigeria and the second is from ET website. I used the same date for both.
secondly, when I said there are agents that can get cheaper fares, I mean, they may advice him to take another airline that may be cheaper. please bro my own is where can i get flight itinerary (reserved flight ticket) up to three weeks for visa application, I chatted with Jumia travels they said they don't offer such ..I need it urgently to apply for visa. every other documents are ready except the itinerary ticket. please help if you know which airline can help . NB. i travelled the last time with Ethiopia, which I contacted abt it mehn forget Ethiopia about a swift online feedback response, as for Kenya they gave me a link but the itinerary they have doesn't not have a booking code and PNR on it so not fit for visa application. and those are the airline with most friendly ticket prices . |
Travel › Re: Is Ethiopian Airlines Into Fraud? by Rexnegro(m): 12:31am On Aug 09, 2018 |
Fallawx: I disagree with you , no agent in Nigeria will offer a lesser ticket price than that of a publish price from the airline . Except the agent use black market which is not advisable . For Yanke and Europe it’s possible . Not here in Naija ..
Madam did your husband makes payment via his card or bank account . Secondly if your husband makes payment during weekends it’s hard to clarify because the system would have cancel his reservation when payment is not confirmed .
I have once encounter problem of such with the same mention airline ,making payment during weekends . So I have to rush to the airport for complain when I didn’t receive my ticket before my departure date . Then I was told payment during the weekends can only be confirmed on business days . Truly on Monday my flight was ticketed and I was able to board on Tuesday . please bro my own is where can i get itinerary ticket (reserved flight ticket) up to three weeks for visa application, I chatted with Jumia travels they said they don't offer such ..I need it urgently to apply for visa. every other documents are ready except the itinerary ticket. please help if you know which airline can help .
