The Deputy Governor has confirmed it that Yoruba Language must be acknowledged as a compulsory subject in all our schools in both primary and Secondary schools in Lagos State enhencefort and every Wednesday, Yoruba language must be the spoken language throughout for teaching and learning in all our schools,and promised to send the Yoruba translated National Anthem paper to schools for onward effectiveness of Yoruba language up to the University level. This was disclosed yesterday during the meeting with all the Lagos State Principals and Headteachers of public schools in Lagos state at Marquee Event Hall, Radio Lagos Ikeja Lagos.
